The whole Khurana mansion was filled with guest. It was maan and geet's sangeet function and KM was sparkling like a bride. Everyone was busy preparing for the function while dadima guiding them with instruction though the wedding planner had already started hs work according to their wishes. Dadima was so delighted that she wanted to do everything herself after all it was only grandson's sangeet fnction. She wanted to live every moment of it.
Adi beta...she beckoned from behind when adi was asking the workers to decorate the entrance propely

Yes dadima, I have talked to sir and he said, he'll be arriving by evening...adi smiled...don't worry dadima, he'll be on time...he assured her

He smiled at the thought of seeing her angelic face again. Her one smile was enough to make him forget all his tension and worries. Suddenly he fished out his cell from his pocket and dialled her number...
The monotonous ring was soon replaced by her sweet melodius voice as she picked up the call...
Hello...geet replied in an excited voice seeing his call
Hey jaan...maan said closing his eyes imagining her blush at his words which she always do
How are you maan...??...when are you returning...??...she asked a bit impatiently
I am fine sweet heart, just completed a meeting and I'll be back by evening, anything else...he replied in the same one breath

Geet turned red again thinking about their close moments but was brought back by his query...

Dadima has done evrything perfectly, she is so excited that even after hiring the wedding planner, she is herself guiding the workers...!!

Maan heard ronak's voice through the receiver and some noise and asked out of concern...

Yes, I am fine, don't worry...she said...see you in the evening, take care...!!
Bye...maan disconnected his cell but still felt that geet sound disturbed. But he put aside his doubt for the time being and got ready for his last meeting
Geet kept her cell down and looked at ronak with anger as well as anticipation...
What are you doing here...??...she asked directly not at all liking his presence
I just came to meet you...ronak said while moving towards geet
This time geet stood firmly at her place and answered with confidence...
Ronak, let me clear some things to you...she looked straight in his eyes...First of all, I am not your friend and this is no cafeteria that you'll come for chit-chatting an secondly, never enter my cabin without knocking...!!
Roank was surprised to see the confidence in geet's eyes. He always found a faint line of fear in her eyes but today it shone with a sparkling confidence much similar to maan. She was indeed looking as fiery as maan.

Geet shrunk back to her chair feeling so relieved. Yes she was scared of him but she concealed it well and it was only possible bcoz she knew maan is with her and will always be there by her side. She had full trust on maan and now her fate too can't deter this trust. She'll be strong and protect HER family from all evil, no matter what.

Geet came down wearing a green sari for the puja and other rituals. Sangeet was in the evening so preparation was on full swing...!!
Throughout the puja geet was feeling restless like something very bad is going to happen. She closed her eyes and joined her hands for the prayer...
Hey babaji, please keep maan safe. I don't know why but I am having this scary, jittery feeling. Please babaji, bring back my maan safe and sound...!!
For the rest of the pooja she kept praying for the being of maan.

It was evening and guest started arriving. The whole khurana mansion was glowing, giggling and celebrating. Everyone was enjoying the beautiful atmosphere except the one for whom all this was arranged.
Geet was busy glancing at the door every five minutes as her restless and anxiety was growing by each passing second. Her heart was doing summersaults not bcoz of the gathering and the huge crowd but for some unknown reson. She badly wanted to see maan, to engulf him in her arms, to kiss him till she is assured of his safety and to hide him from the rest of the world.
She just need maan.
While on the other hand maan was driving crazily. He covered the first highway within half the usual time. The man's words were still ringing in his ears and he needs to talk to geet.

The dholis started playing the dhols anouncing the beginning of sangeet ceremony. The girls gathered in the center of the hall, dancing and giggling in rhythm. Just then all eyes went to the stairs where a pari was descending with small steps, few girls escorting her.
Dadi looked at the beautiful bride to be and prayed to god for her well-being. She went to the bottom of the stairs and as geet reached down clad in a lovely pink lehnga with heavy silver work at the borders, she blessed her placing a black spot of koel behind her earsto protect her from evil eyes.
Little did they know, the evil was right infront of them with his eyes glued to geet...!!
Geet was made to sit while pinky along with other girls surrounded her. Everyone was lost in the celebration, the lovely music and the young girls dancing to the tune while geet was lost in her maan. Soon she too was pulled in the middle of the hall by pinky urging her to dance with them but she was not in a mood to comply.
Their insistance was disturbed with geet's cell's ringtone. Geet looked at the caller id and felt her life coming back to her. Yes, it was her maan...
She instantly picked up the call...
Maan, where are you...??...the ceremony has started and all are waiting for you...she said all in one breath
Upon not hearing his reply she called him again...
Maan...hello...maan...
Geet, I am on my way...he finally relied while she took a breath of relief
Maan why are you sounding so different...??...are you alright...??
He paused for a moment before replying back...
Geet, I need to talk something very important to you...!!
Geet could feel the seriousness in his voice, he was not his usual self. Something was very wrong...

Before she could ask further a loud dash was heard in the in the receiver like a terrible collision took place...!!
Geet panicked at the sound and tried to hear him, but only shattering of glases and a loud thud was heard and thats when she screamed...
