Sonali: hi mama wow someone misses me that's why here so early in the morning... (hugged geet)

Geet(with a wide smile on her face carried her up to hug her back): hmmm of course mama misses you!!

Maan: oh no one misses me? (acting to put a sad face in front of sonali)

Sonali(looked at maan with a smile): of course I miss you also!(moved into maan's hand and hugged him)

Maan: sonali darling?

Sonali: yes? (looking at him innocently)

Maan: would you like me to be your father?

Sonali: father? (pause and thought for a moment then with a smile) ok papa! (maan hugged her the moment she called him papa and was in tears.. looked at him and wiped his tears) papa don't cry! (Maan smiled back and looked at geet. She was in tears and smiled back at maan when he looked.. sonali turned and looked at her mama)mama you also don't cry!

Geet: mama just happy for you that you got a dad now!

Sonali: mama now maan uncle is my dad.. what is he to you?

Geet(right open her mouth couldn't believe her daughter asked her this): sonali! Maan is my friend and your dad! Now go and play with your friends.. mama got work to do! Will come and meet you later!

Sonali: ok mama! (running to her friends and told that she has a dad)

Geet: sorry about that maan!

Maan: oh its ok! Thx anyways for giving me this position in her life..

Geet: well i'm happy for her that she got a dad! I should be thanking you..

They both went to the office to register and went out to have lunch at a nearby restaurant.

Maan: can I get sit for two in private room?

Waiter: yup there is! Follow me sir and mdm!

Geet: maan why private room?

Maan: will tell you later! (went in the room and ordered their food)

Geet: ok now tell me?

Maan(making sure no one is at the room): remember you don't eat your food unless someone feeds you!

Geet(surprised to see him remembering the other time at the restaurant): thx!

Geet just looked at him till the waiter knock the door and came in.

Maan(waited till the waiter has gone and took geet's food and fed her): here eat!

Geet(while eating her meal): maan are you always this nice to everyone?

Maan: only to my loved ones..

Geet: oh ya speaking of loved ones! I'll be free for the day if you don't mind can I visit your dadi?

Maan: hmmm I don't remember stopping you from seeing her!

Geet: ok then I will go back home do for dadi her fav dessert!

Maan: ok we will go buy ingredient for that and can we bring sonali along?

Geet: I don't remember me stopping you from bringing her along!! (both laugh at their words and continued eating) maan i'm full! (holding her stomach)

Maan: just a few more? Pls?

Geet(just quietly accept the few more): ok now you eat!

Maan: you wan dessert? (geet shook her head saying no)

After maan ate both went to shop and went to geet's house to do the sweet dessert.

Geet: maan you go to the living room while I do the dessert!

Maan: will help you! Btw did you call the hospital to say we are bringing sonali to see dadi?

Geet: oh ya I told armaan about it.. he is bringing her over later and if its late then she has to stay with us!

Maan: then maybe you and her just stay over with us there?

Geet: it won't be nice maan!

Maan: geet no problem with us!! We won't mind!

After a while, muskaan called geet.

Geet: maan help me answer the call... if from office say will call back later!

Maan(reaching out for the phone and saw the screen its muskaan): geet it's ur di!

Geet: answer it!

Maan(answered the call): hello muskaan!

Muskaan: maan?

Maan: ya it's me! Anything?

Muskaan(checked her phone thought she called the wrong person): maan how come you answering the call? I called geet!

Maan: geet is busy at the kitchen so she ask me to answer the call!

Muskaan: oh ok just wanted to ask if you both want to come out with us?

Maan: aaahhh I don't think so.. geet and sonali are going to visit my dadi today.

Muskaan: ok nevermind! Tell geetbaby i'm going out with neeshi, karan,ghan, pooja and jai so will be home late!

Maan: ok do call once you have reach home but be home before 12 am don't stay out to long!

Muskaan: maan why you sound like my sis?

Maan: come on muskaan! Definitely this will be what your sis will say if she is talking to you now. so i'm just telling you!

Muskaan: ya ok! (neeshi at the back called muskaan to come as movie was about to start) hey got to go! say hi to sonali and kiss her for me! Ok bye!

Maan: ok will..muskaan geet and sonali will be staying over tonight at my place if your outing finish early come over ok?

Muskaan: hmmm ok text me the address!

Maan: ok bye! (he went to the kitchen) geet muskaan called!

Geet: what she said?

Maan: well she called us out for the cancelled outing the other time! Since we couldn't make it she told me she's going out with all our classmates for a movie and might be late!

Geet: with that jai also?

Maan(wondering why geet is so concern about only him): ya he is also with her! Why? Anything wrong?

Geet: nothing! just don't trust him!

Maan: so you trust me?

Geet: of course maan if I don't trust you, you won't be in here and be sonali's dad! Anyways get me the container!

Maan: ya sure! (went to the bottom drawer and got one)

Geet: seems like you got use to my kitchen! (maan smiled and handed over the container. While transferring the dessert, the door bell ring) maan can you open the door must be sonali?

Maan: ok sure! (when open the door and saw Armaan and sonali. Sonali jumped onto maan and hugged him)hey hi come in!

Armaan: hi maan! Geet in?

Maan: yup in the kitchen! (armaan went to the kitchen with maan holding sonali)

Armaan: hi sugar!! (gave her a hug)

Geet: hi armaan! Hey precious! (looking at sonali moved towards her and kissed her on her cheeks)

Geet: gajal ka halwa!

Armaan: can I have some?

Geet: ya sure! You all go to the living room I will get it!

Sonali: mama I also want!!

Geet: sure precious!!

Geet(put some in the plate and the rest in the container for dadi! She

went to the living room and gave everyone): so how is it?

Sonali: yummy!

Geet: thx!

Maan: geet you go pack both your clothes! While I go clean the kitchen!

Geet: ok thx!

Armaan(went over to geet's room): so someone seems to be with you all the time?

Geet: armaan he's my friend and sonali's dad!

Armaan: why don't you go with him for a date? he seems to be a nice guy!

Geet: no armaan its' not right for me to!

Armaan: get him while he is still available! Anyways can you help me?

Geet: with what? Oh don't tell me ridzy!

Armaan: ya she is angry with me again! You noe my mouth shoots out nonsense!

Geet(sat beside him on the bed): you see armaan first of all tape the mouth of yours!!

Armaan: sugar! (playfully strangled her) help me na!

Geet: ok bring her out for a movie date! Or buy for a something she loves! That would help!

Armaan: but she doesn't want to talk to me now!

Geet: hmmm msg her sorry and love you! (just when she finished her last words maan came in)

Maan: sorry am I disturbing?

Armaan: no no come in!

Geet: i'm done with the packing! Let's go!

Armaan: dear you still haven't...

Geet: don't worry leave it to me! Let's go!

Armaan left while maan, geet and sonali went to maan's house. Geet just slept on the way to his house so was sonali. When they reached his house, he had no heart to wake up both but before he tap geet, she woke up realised the car has stopped. They both decided not to wake up geet so maan carried her inside while geet walked beside him. Dadima was waiting for them at the entrance hearing the car sound.

Dadi: hi beta.. how are you? Hmm oh is this geet and sonali?

Maan: ya dadi.. ssshhh sonali is sleeping! (they put her in the room prepared for her and when to the living room.)dadi this is geet and that was sonali!

Dadi: hi beti! How are you? You look pale..

Geet: no dadi i'm fine.. (gave dadi a warm hug) dadi I did gajal ka halwa! Maan said you love them..

Dadi(looking at the dessert and taking some to taste): hmmm very nice! Thx geet beti! (geet smiled at her happy that she is pleased with the dessert) come i'll show you around! Maan you go fresh up while I show her around the house! (maan knocked and went to his room.. dadi showed around and came to maan's room while maan went in sonali's room to check on her..)

Geet: dadi who are this? (pointing at a couple's photo standing together while the guy was holding a boy)

Dadi: oh that's maan's parent and him!

Geet: have they gone out?

Maan(entering the room): no they are no more!

Geet: sorry I didn't..

Maan(he cut in before she could finish her words): it's ok! (nakul, their servant, came and told dadi that she had a call frm her club after she went off)

Geet: you looked good! (her tip of her eyes saw a frame near his bed side. She walked towards it when maan rushed pass her and took it away) hey maan who was that?

Maan: no one!

Geet: I saw don't lie!! Show it na.. (trying to get off his hands)

Maan: I can't!

Geet: why? (dadi knocked the door and told that dinner was ready.. she looked at maan angrily for not showing the photo but decide to ask dadi if she might noe..) ok dadi i'm coming with you... (while walking out with dadi) dadi?

Dadi: yes beti?

Geet: do you noe who is in the photo near maan's bed?

Dadi: oh that one! (juz went she was about to say, maan rushed to his dadi hinting her not to tell..)well i'm not sure.. why don't you ask maan? (her phone rang on her way to the dining table, she used that as an excuse went to the garden.. maan knew she won't eat unless someone feed her and now that she is angry with him she won't eat even if he feed her.. he gave up and took some food for her and along with the photo..)

Maan: geet? (geet didn't ask him) hungry? (he shook her head indicating no) ok fine I 'll show you the photo!

Geet(face lifting up with a smile): reali?

Maan: but you have to eat first?

Geet: but show me the photo first then i'll eat!

Maan: no eat first! (showing a spoon in front of her, she took it and showed her hand in front demanding for the photo)i'll show but you shouldn't scold me!

Geet: ok I won't!

Maan (took the photo frame which he kept beside him and showed it to her..holding his breath hoping she won't scold or get angry with him) here! (geet took it and turned the frame and went speechless for a moment..tears flowed down seeing the pic)

Maan: geet? What happen?

Geet(controlled her emotion): nothing!

Maan: sorry I didn't mean to take the pic frm ur album! I juz didn't have any photo of her so I took it!

Geet: no maan it's ok! It's juz that was the last time he took photo of her! (her phone ring and when she saw it was her secretary) yes angad?

Angad: mdm you were suppose to have video conference with Mr David today at 9pm! Called you to remind you about it!

Geet: oh ya.. ok I will call you back soon! (looked at maan) maan you have laptop with you?

Maan: ya why? You need them?

Geet: yup video conference I totally forgot abt it!

Maan: ok I will get it you go to the guest room, i'll bring it! (when he entered the room, geet was in a call so he gave it and was abt to go out)

Geet: maan password? (he typed the password and set up the video conference for her. He left the room giving her some privacy and went to sonali's room.)

Sonali: papa? U haven't sleep?

Maan: oh my shona haven't sleep how can I sleep?

Sonali: I wasn't sleepy so I was playing play station!

Maan: can I join? (both played for some time)

Sonali: papa sonali doesn't like staying at the hospital! I want to stay here with you all!! Can I?

Maan: oh my shona! I don't mind you staying here but you hav to ask your mama first.. (got all excited ran to find her mama)mama! (screaming at her top of voice.. finding her in the guest room run up to her not knowing she was in middle of an conference)

Geet(hearing her voice from behind.. smiled at her client excusing herself for a moment) hey precious! (carried her, kissed her on her cheek then put her down) precious wait for me! (put her on her bed)while I go finish my conference in 5 mins.. k precious?

Sonali: ok 5 minutes only! (maan entered and saw how geet still paid attention to her even though she was on conference)

Geet: oh maan keep her company while I finish my meeting! (went back and sat continue her conference) sorry abt that! Let's continue..

Client: sure! (continued and ended a few minutes later)

Geet( turned to sonali): so why was my precious looking for me?

Sonali: oh mama I want to stay here! I don't want to stay in hospital anymore..

Geet: oh since you like staying here no problem with me you ask your papa! (hugged her papa and jumped off happily off went to play her play station) maan you don't mind her staying here rite?

Geet: oh I will talk to armaan abt it!

Maan: won't you miss her?

Geet: if I did i'll come and visit her! You mind rite?

Maan: of course I don't mind but it would be even better if you stay here as well?

Geet: no maan it won't be rite!

Maan: you don't like to stay here?

Geet: no maan it's not that! I can't leave my di alone!

Maan: I don't have a problem with your sis staying here also..

Geet: but... (self-tot how am I going to tell him that I can't stay here because others might think wrongly)

Maan: or is it because of your boyfriend?

Geet(snapping off her tot): boyfriend? Maan... (dadi entered hearing them arguing)

Dadi: what you guys are arguing about?

Maan/geet: dadi!

Dadi: sonali told me abt she staying here! I'm happy she is staying here with us.. so I came to ask if geet stay here also?

Maan: that was what I was asking also!

Geet: but dadi..

Dadi: why you don't like to stay us?

Geet: no dadi..

Maan(cutting her off): she says she can't leave her sis at home alone!

Dadi: oh you have a sister? I don't mind her staying here also.. my house is big enough..(geet kept quiet not knowing what to tell her) so it's set then! Thank you beti!(kissed her forehead and went off)

Maan: you not hapi staying with us? (juz then her phone rang it was frm prem)

Geet: hello prem?

Prem: mdm I have found out information about jai!

Geet: ok what abt him?

Prem: mdm jai chopra is not his real name... his real name is jai singh ratore and he is frm London! frm my findings he did his engineering but due to some reason he left on the December last month and came to India! (first thing came to her mind was ARJUN...her suspect was right.. he is after her for revenge for his brother tears flowing down her cheeks knowing that history is about to take place again..)mdm are you there?

Geet: anything else?

Prem: no mdm!

Maan: what happen?

Geet(wiped her tears): di! Maan where did my di say she was going?

Maan: destiny mall! Why is anything wrong?

Arya: mdm she is having dinner with her friends at destiny mall! Is anything wrong mdm?

Geet: is she in front of your eyes? Can you see her?

Arya: yes mdm! They juz ordered their meal!

Geet(with a little relieve): make sure she is alright and in your vision! GET IT!!

Arya: yes mdm!

Geet: I will be there in 15 minutes! (hang up the line and looked at maan)

Maan: is everything all right? What happen?

Geet: maan just as I suspected jai is after my di and me for revenge!!

Maan: wat jai and revenge? where is she now?

Geet: destiny mall..

Maan: ok let's go there now! I will call for protection!! (called the protection) hello mr gupta?

Mr Gupta: ya sir how may I help you?

Maan: I need immediate protection for a person can you arrange them?

Mr Gupta: sure sir! You send me the details and I will send my men there!

Maan: ok!

I loving this story on maaneet... somehow sonali becomes more cuter in this maaneet story... more than the real story... zoo baby BRING IT ON babe... superb update... it brought back some funny memories of acting this story out... haha...😆😆
