Maan is driving the car...

M: (st) it was my own decision to stay away from geet. but! why i am not able to hide my feelings for her? why i am loosing my control in front of her?

Maan stops his car infront of a pharmacy. He gets out of the car and walks towards the pharmacy with the prescription

M: (st) now...how will i fill up the age? Should i ask geet about her age? Teek hai! lets ask her. lekhin kaise?

Maan thinks for sometime and some idea flashes in his mind

M: (st) haan! Excellent idea maan

Maan walks into the nearby PCO and calls the Khurana Mansion's landline number

Jugnu mama picks the call

Jug: hello!

M: (st) mamaji! Ab mein kya karu?

Maan immediately cuts the call

Jug: call cut hogaya

Jugnu mama hangs up the receiver and leaves the place

M: (st) phir se try kar ke dektha hu

Maan again calls the mansion's landline number. This time our chandu bhaiya attends the phone

Chandu: " hello...very warm good morning sir...welcome to Khurana Mansion...and this is Chandu on the line...may i know whom i am talking to?

Maan rolls his eyes

M: (st) this idiot is doing this to everyone?

Chandu: (shouts) helllooo!!!!

Maan moves away the receiver from his ear and rubs his ear. He feels like shouting at Chandu in a high pitch. But he controls himself

As there is no reply from the other side, Chandu almost starts to sing as follows

Chandu: hello...hellelo...hellelolo...hellelolololooo

Maan is annoyed. But he controls his anger

Maan changes his tone and talks like a stranger

M: sir! We are calling from Lord Ram Bank...

Chandu stops maan in the middle

Chandu: kya? Lord Ram Bank? When did Lord Ram open a Bank?

Maan rolls his eyes

M: (st) how come chandu thinks so brilliantly now a days?

Chandu: hello! Are you on the line? Now answer me

M: wo...wo...when Lord Ram went to vanavas na...at that time he didn't have any money. So to mobilise money from the public he opened this bank

Chandu: dekhiye! i have already watched Ramayan alongwith our maan sir and dadima. There is no such scene in Ramayan which tells about this Lord Ram bank. now don't try to cheat me.

Maan hits his head with his hand

M: (st) ye chandu bhi na! He is still remembering that Ramayan

Chandu: hello...

M: haaan! can i speak to Mr. Maan Singh Khurana?

Chandu: kyun?

M: he knows about our bank

Chandu: i know...i know...our maan sir knows everything. He is very intelligent

M: thanks for your compliments. Now give the phone to him

Chandu: maan sir! Ghar pe nahi hai

Maan smirks

M: acha! Can i speak to his wife?

while saying this maan's heart skips a beat

Chandu: kaun? Geet madam?

M: hmmm

Chandu: ek minute

Chandu puts the reciver down and goes to call geet. after a few seconds chandu comes on the line again

Chandu: sorry sir! Geet madam is having lunch now. I can't disturb her

Maan's smiles

M: (st) acha hua! at last Geet is having lunch

Chandu: hello...

M: teek hai...can you tell me her age?

Chandu: 2 days

M: kya?

Chandu: haan sir! I know her for the past 2 days only

M: (st) chandu! I'll kill you through this phone itself

Chandu: hello!

M:...

Chandu again starts singing

Chandu: hello...hellelo...hellelololo...

M: (shouts) stop it.

Chandu: (st) this 'stop it' sounds like our maan sir's 'stop it'...

M:(shouts) hello! now go and ask her age

Chandu: ji

Chandu is scared by the shout on the other end. So he goes to geet

Chandu: geet madam!

Geet's is enjoying the lunch. After all she is eating after two whole days.

G: hmm

Chandu: aap ke umar kya hai?

Geet is so lost in the food. So she answers chandu without thinking

G: bhaiya! My D.O.B. is 22^nd January, 1987. Ab me busy hu. So you please calculate my age

Chandu: teek hai madam

Maan is waiting on the line. Chandu comes back on the line. He is too lazy to calculate geet's age.

Chandu: hello!

M: hmmm

Chandu: geet madam's D.O.B. is 22^nd January, 1987

Maan smiles to himself. when Maan is about to cut the call. but chandu interefers

Chandu: sir! Ek minute

M: ab kya hai?

Chandu: let me tell my D.O.B. too?

M: no thanks. I know your D.O.B

Chandu: acha! Which date?

M: 1^st April

Maan cuts the call immediately

Chandu is so happy

Chandu: chandu! Tum to bohat famous hogaya! Even a stranger knows your D.O.B.

(so chandu bhaiya was born on April 1^st.🤣)

M: (st) acha hua. now i know her D.O.B. at least

Maan calculates geet's age

M: so geet is 24...hmmm...4 years younger to me

Maan smiles and fills up geet's age in the prescription and notices the name on it and reads it out

M: Mrs. Geet Khurana

Maan again smiles and comes to the pharmacy and gives the prescription. The pharmacist brings the pills. As soon as, Maan sees the pills geet's words " bitter bitter pills" comes to his mind

Maan asks the pharmacist

M: do you have any sweet version of these pills?

Pharmacist: kya? sweet version?

M: haan...something like sweetened pills...

The Pharmacist gives maan a weird look

M: mera matlab hai...is there any sweet pills of the same composition meant for kids

Pharmacist again reads the prescription loudly

Pharmacist: Mrs. Geet Khurana...age 24.

Maan stares at the pharmacist silently

Pharmacist: sir! are you buying these pills for a 24 years old kid?

Maan is embarrassed. So he remains silent

Pharmacist: dekhiye sir! We have sugar free tablets. But not sweetened tablets. Kya mein ab ye bitter wala tablets ko pack karu?

M: hmmm

Pharmacist packs the bitter bitter pills as prescribed by the doctor and gives it to maan.

@khurana constructions. Time is about 3:30 pm

Geet is entering into the Khurana Constructions. Pinky notices geet and she is shocked

Pinky: (st) ye ladki yahan kyun aayi? I donno...if she is DD's wife or not? Ab mein kya karu?

Geet comes to pinky and introduces herself with a smile

G: hi Pinky! I am geet, Maan's wife

Pinky: (st) how does she know my name?

G: hello pinky...

Pinky:...

G: pinnnkkkyyy!!!!

Pinky comes out of her thoughts

Pinky: ji

G: how are you?

Pinky: (stumbles) i am fine

G: maan's cabin kahan hai?

Pinky is in confusion. She couldn't think anything. So she tells geet where maan's cabin is.

G: thanks pinky

Geet smiles and leaves for maan's cabin.

Geet is walking in the alley of KC. All the staff are shocked and confused to see geet there. Geet smiles at them and greets them and walks towards maan's cabin.

Pinky comes out of the trance. She recalls how maan was shouting at geet at the mandap 2 days ago

Pinky: (st) what if DD comes suddenly and sees this geet in his cabin. He will yell at me for having allowed her inside his cabin. Better i'll inform him

Pinky calls maan's mobile...

Maan is driving back to the Khurana mansion from the pharmacy and his mobile rings. Maan sees pinky's name on the mobile

M: haan pinky! Bolo

Pinky is in so much of tension. So she didn't realise what she talks...

Pinky: sir mein Pinky bol rahi hu

Maan takes a deep breath

M: pinky! I know that you are speaking. Ab bolo baath kya hai?

Pinky: sir! Please come to the office immediately. It is very urgent

M: kya hua?

Pinky: sir...wo ladki...

M: ladki?...kaunsi ladki?

Pinky: wo mandapwala ladki...geet...

M: geet?

Maan's heart beats quicken

M: (st) why pinky is talking about geet now?

Pinky: geet has...

There is some network problem in maan's mobile. So the call gets disconnected. Maan didn't notice it and he keeps on talking

M: hello pinky! Aage bolo...hello...

Pinky: (st) maan sir has cut the call. he must be busy. If i call him again, he will shout at me. better i must keep quiet.

Pinky hangs down the phone

Maan notices that there is no signal in his mobile.

M: (st) what was pinky trying to say about geet? does pinky know anything about geet?

Maan stops the car infront of a PCO. And calls dadi's number from the PCO. Dadi attends the call without seeing the number

Dadi: hello!

M: hello! Dadima! Where is geet?

Dadi thinks that maan has seen geet in Khurana Constructions. And he wants to talk about it. so dadi tries to evade maan's question

Dadi: maan! why are you asking me? she is your wife...

M: dadima! I have no time for this. ab saaf saaf batayiye ki geet kahan hai

Dadi: patha nahi

Maan is too annoyed and cuts the call immediately.

M: donno! Why this dadima is annoying me like this? how does she know what i am going through right now?

Dadi feels bad and tries to call maan back and notices that the call was from an unknown number

Dadi: (st) ye kiske number hai? why maan is calling from this number?

Dadi tries to call maan's mobile. But it is unreachable

Dadi: (st) maan's mobile is not reachable. Iska matlab...is maan not in office?

Dadi calls KC landline number. But no one is picking the call.

Dadi: (st) geet has gone to the office. Maan is not in office. What is going on?

On the other side, maan also calls KC landline number from the PCO. But no one is picking the call.

M: (st) ab ye pinky kahan chali gayi? Why no one is picking the phone?

He again calls pinky's mobile number. Pinky is not picking her mobile also

M: (st) what is happening in my office? No one is picking my own call. why pinky was talking about geet? what was she trying to say about geet? pinky sounded so tensed

Maan recalls how geet tried to stop him from leaving the mansion and how he ignored her call and walked out.

M: (st) has geet come to office to see me? yes! She must have. That is why pinky would have talked about her. ye geet bhi na? she needs rest. But she doen't care to take rest. What is she doing in the office? Moreover, in office, no one knows geet. What if they create some problem for geet?

Maan again recalls pinky's words and tries to connct the dots...

M: (st) what did pinky say," sir! Please come to the office immediately. It is very urgent. Then she was saying something like, " geet has...". what has happened to geet? has she fainted again in the office?

Maan couldn't think beyond that. he runs to the car, starts it and rushes to the office.

Geet walks into maan's cabin and she is disappointed that maan is not there

G: (st) ye maan kahan chal gaye? Did he know about my coming? Has he run away?

Geet scans the room once again

G: maan!...maan...

She checks beneath the table

G:(st) he is not here beneath the table also. Where is he?

G: maan! aap kahan hai? bahar ayiyena

opens the washroom door and cheks there

G: (st) geet! tum bhi na! Will he chose this place to hide himself?

Geet comes out of maan's cabin and almost bumps into adi

Adi is shocked to see geet there

Adi: tum?...mera matlab hai...aap?

G: oho...come on adi sir! Call me just geet

Adi: (surprised) adi sir? Do you know my name?

G:haan! I know everything about you

Adi: kaise?

Geet replies with a smile

G: maan has told me a lot of things about you

Adi: maan sir?

G: (says proudly) haan maan! matlab...Mera pathi Maan Singh Khurana

Adi: (st) acha! So my doubt is correct. Maan sir is secretly living with this girl somewherelse. Today i should inform this to dadima at any cost.

Adi decides to tell this to dadima and turns to walk away...

G: adi sir! Rukhiyena

Adi stops

G: maan kahan hai?

Adi: he must be in his cabin

G: he is not there

Adi: then... He must have gone out. ab aap jakar maan sir ke kamare mein thoda wait keejiye. I'll inform him about you

G: no no adi sir...don't inform him

Adi: kyun?

G: kyunki...i want to give him a surprise

Adi: (st) surprise for Maan sir...hmmm...interesting

Adi: teek hai. as you wish

Geet smiles

G: thanks adi sir

Adi: (st) i think this geet is a very good girl. She must be good only. After all she is maan sir's choice na? But...anyways i have to inform to dadima about maan sir's secret dealings

Adi smiles at geet and leaves the place.

Geet again walks into maan's cabin, sits on the couch and waits for him

Maan has reached Khurana Constructions. He comes out of the car and almost runs to the reception

M: pinky! Geet kahan hai?

Pinky is shocked to see maan like that and she misunderstands that maan is angry for having allowed geet inside. So she stumbles...

Pinky: sir...wo...

M: (shouts) ab jaldi se batao

Pinky: aap ke kamare mein...

Maan didn't even wait for pinky to finish. He runs to his cabin. All staff are confused to see maan running like this.

Maan opens his cabin door with a bang. Geet who is sitting on the couch and listening to music on mobile, turns towards the door with a jerk. Maan is relieved to see geet there. But at the same time he gets angry on her for having made him to go through all these turmoil.

Geet stands up from the couch and walks towards maan

G: maan! aap aa gaye?

Maan grasps geet's arm and pulls her close to him

M: (shouts) geet! do you have any idea of how much i was worried about you? what the hell are you doing to me geet?

Geet's heart skips a beat. she looks into his eyes

M: jawab do geet. why are you doing this to me?

Geet is confused and still looking into his eyes

Maan is in so much of anger. He didn't know what he is doing. Suddenly, he pulls geet closer to him forcibly. Geet loses her balance and her face rests on his chest. Geet feels his his erratic heart beats. She senses his tension and restlessness. She closes her eyes and hugs him to calm down him. After all that happened since the morning, Maan is really in desparate need of this hug. So he too closes his eyes and hugs geet forgetting all his self restrictions. Maan feels that some calmness is spreading through him. Geet senses that his heart beats are returning to normal. Maan tightens the hug.
