Chapter 33
"Where are you taking us to Anky" Fiza asked for the umpteenth time.
"Fiz what part chillax and enjoy do you have difficulty in understanding'.plus I really don't know what place it is'.my baby sister and Nidha had found out the place'which is why I am following their car" Anky said exasperated.
"Fiza chill'.they might be younger than us'.but they sure have more brains than we give them credit for" Nikki tried to soothe Fiza down. She used a little bit of her magic for the purpose.
Nikki had started using her magic for some time now. The girls were unaware of the fact that they had a very powerful witch among them. She had stayed away from India for 10 years to finish her training. She was a full sorceress now. Nikki was still getting the hang of being able to use her powers without too many rules to restrict her. Plus she was alone here. No assistance would come to her easily if anything went wrong.

Sanju and Sur were singing at the top of their voices while Nidha drove to their haven as she and Sur had named it. They chanced upon it in one of their walking trips to the forest. The girls really needed a girls only time out strictly without boys. This place seemed perfect. Private but yet close to the road if they needed to get away.
It had been two weeks since the whole Abhay fiasco.
Nidha felt embarrassed at the thought of how drunk she was when she reached home. Thanks to her friends who explained the situation she was not buried six feet under now.
Ayesha was sitting at the front seat immersed in thought. She was behaving like her usual self in front of Abhay at college. But her friends new the Herculean effort she put into the task. Fiza hadn't gone to office for two whole weeks on the pretext of attending classes when in reality she didn't want to face Armaan. Nidha sighed glancing at Ayesha
Sur had started text chatting with Virat.
Sanju looked at Sur's phone and let out an amused chuckle.
"Whats it Sanju di" Nidha asked
"Look at who our Sur is chatting with" Sanju said pointing to Sur's phone.
"Who?" Ayesha asked smiling lightly.
"None other than the great Virat'..Sur do you really want Neel to beat the crap out of him'..I thought he warned you to stay away from him"
"Huh who the heck cares what Neel Khuranna wants'..are they our husbands or fathers to rule our lives'..seriously this is exactly our problem we let them rule our thoughts and action as soon as they enter our lives'.I will chat with whoever I like" Sur said stubbornly.
"Chill meri mata chill'.mein bus ainvayi batha rahi thi" Sanju said raising her hand in peace " But you are lucky that its Neel who warned you and not Jay" Sanju chuckled looking at Nidha who blushed visibly.
"Here we are ladies'.Sur this is it na" Nidha asked for confirmation.
"Yep dear'.theres the sign we kept" Sur pointed to a small wooden plank they hard planted near a very crooked looking tree.
Anky stopped her car right behind them.
They picked up their picnic things. They had set out early in the morning to have quality time to spent.
Sur and Nidha led the others through a forest path. Nikki mentally scanned the area for any possible threats from animals or the even worse beings who resided these forests.
She was glad that they had daylight filtering in between the trees to guide them.
After about 20 minutes walk they reached an area closed in by trees. A small waterfall continued as a stream which was flowing in rhythm. The place exuded peace and calm the only sound coming from birds and scurrying rodents.
"So my favourite ladies how is this'.we have named it our the AFSANNS HAVEN " Nidha said proudly waving her arms around.
"AFSANNS'.what is that?" Anky frowned.
"Oh my fattuchandh badi di'.it's the starting letter of all our names put together
Akanksha,Fiza,Sanjana,Ayesha,Nikki,Nidha and the princess Sur" Sur said happily hopping around.
"The place is beautiful for sure'.nice place to sit and read" Nikki said looking around.
"So who is up for a swim ladies" Nidha said pulling of her shoes. She had asked the girls to dress in shorts so they could swim easily.
They had carried extra dress along.
"I guess I will just sit here watching you'.not in a mood to swim" Ayesha said sitting down under a tree.
Nidha eyed Sur who winked.
Anky didn't buy such excuses from Fiza. She all but pushed Fiza into the water.
Nikki and Sanju were drenching Fiza and
Sur and Nidha were having a swimming race from one bank to next. Ayesha watched them.
"Ayesha zara idhar aana meri yeh chain nikalna hain" Sur called her.
Ayesha hadn't noticed Nidha going underwater as soon as Ayesha came to the bank Nidha sprang up and pulled her in.
"Aaargh Nidha'.I told you I am not in a mood" Ayesha screamed as she got wet.
"Oh Miss.Kapoor is angry'.but you won't do anything I know" Nidha put out her tongue.
"Rukh tujhe abhi dikhathi hun" Ayesha said angrily and started chasing her around in the shallow water.
But the anger soon turned into laughter and the girls started enjoying themselves.
Sur got onto the bank and took out her camera and started clicking photos of them in all kinds of poses possible.
"Time for music ladies" Sur said and switched on the portable speaker.
Better not Mess with Me(Always Kabhi Kabhi) start playing. Sur picks up a stray branch and starts palying imaginary guitar
And singing along.
Sur'.

Nidha turning Ayesha around to face her

The girls all fall back first into the water together laughing.
"Wow mazaa aa gaya" Ayesha said shaking her head sprinkling water.
"Sach mein" Fiza hugged her.
"Told you so" Nidha said smiling at them.
"Isn't anyone here hugry'.my stomach is making sounds" Sur pouted.
Everyone laughed and got out of the water.
They brought out the packed lunches their mothers had prepared.
"Chicken biryani from my mom" Nidha said.
"Pasta from us" Anky and Sur brought it out.
"Fried rice here" Ayesha said.
"Punjab da aloo parathe" Sanju said.
"Mom's special rothhi and daal makhni" Fiza said.
"For sweet you can taste my special ice cream" Nikki concluded.
The girls enjoyed the various dishes.
One hour after the lunch they again went into the water.
It was 6:30pm when they went back to their car after changing. All dumped their belongings in the boots of both the cars.
"Hey girls how about some snooping around in the forest" Anky asked excitedly.
"At this time Anky'.no need its getting dark already" Fiza said.
"Oh come on Fiz'don't be such a kill joy" Anky groaned "Plus we don't have to go far'just s little away from our haven"
"I don't think that's a great idea now Anks''we will do it some other day" Nikki cautioned.
"Well I guess we can go for an hour'.it won't be so dark by 7:30" Nidha suggested excited on the prospect of roaming the forest.
Sanju,Sur and Aysha where all for it so finally the Nikki and Fiza gave in.
"Okay okay'..but it will be only one hour then we are outta here" Nikki said with finality.
The girls picked up two torches and headed on a path a little right to their earlier one.
They had walked for about an hour when Nikki sensed some presence nearby.
Aysha sharply turned her head to right startling Fiza who was with her.
"Whats it Aysh" Fiza asked a little scared.
Aysha felt she sensed Abhay. She had been so attached to him for days that she had began to sense his presence. But why would he be here?
Nikki cautiously made a shield around the girls. There was definitely some supernatural being here but which one she wasn't sure.
"Girls it time we headed back" Nikki said.
Everyone had a feeling of de ja vu by now.
"Yep let's go" Anky said taking Sur's hand.
She didn't want anything to happen to her friends or her little sister. Her parents and brother wouldn't spare her.
They reached back to their safely thanks to Nikki's shield. Nikki made sure the shield lingered utill she got into her car and both the cars started on their way back.
