Dev was waiting for Rahul in his room. He was circling him room with anger exploding from his each pour. When Rahul entered the room Dev thundered "I remember I had assigned you a task!"

"Yes!" he said with cautious voice.

Dev folded his arms over his chest and asked "So' what's new development!"

"We have been searching for princess everywhere but there is no sign of her! but we are still trying!"

"Trying my foot!" he screamed and broke the flower vase next to him. "I know where princess is but you are still trying!"

"Where?" he asked in trembling voice.

Images of princess flashed in his mind like neon sign. He was at club with Sameera dancing on the dance floor when she wanted to fresh up so she left for women washroom. Dev decided to go some where more private with Sameera that's why he went towards washroom to meet her there since she was not answering her phone. When he reached near washroom then he saw guy walking out of washroom carrying girl in his arms. "Such a lover boy!" thought Dev but his mouth left open when he saw the face of girl. He was carrying princess in his arms and love was dripping down his face. He followed them and he saw the guy put the princess in the car with such a care as if she was delicate flower. He was about to move when she held his collar and said his name filled with love and Dev saw his world breaking apart, his dream of becoming king vanish into thin air. He can see crown slipping through his hands. If princess is in love that could be so dangerous for his dreams to have power and it will ruined everything he worked so hard to achieve. He left Sameera at club and followed them then went straight home and called Rahul.

"They are staying at Hilton Hotel go there and make sure you come home with princess otherwise don't show me your face and kill the guy with princess and bring his death body as my wedding gift for princess so she know next time she don't cross her limits!" Dev ordered his most trusted man.

Maan was resting on sofa and his head was deep inside the world of thoughts and memories. Sameera's words were circling his mind. "Maan in love is to see dream come true!" "Maan I was your job too but I never got this treatment, I remember getting more sick than her" "Whatever Maan love is written all over your face no matter how much you deny!" "For how many girls you went into women's bathroom, how many dirty faces of girls you have cleaned, how many girls you took in your arms with care, as far as I remember you didn't came near me whole day after smelling my morning breath, you can deny as much as you want but you are in love with this girl"

Is Sameera was right "Am I in love with princess!" he asked himself.

"I am sure I care about her more than any girl I had saved in my mission over years but that was because of her innocence, she is different from other, she didn't throw herself shamelessly over him like Sameera"

Maan was running through the building behind the guy named Malik. Malik was trying his best to save his life but Maan had never spared when innocent had been held hostage to fulfill evil wishes. Malik had kidnapped daughter of police commissioner and now he is ready to let her go only on one condition that is to release two of his men and Sameera the daughter of police commissioner will see the day light otherwise she will say goodbye to her heartbeats. Commissioner asked Maan to bring his daughter back. Once Maan took job he never quit until he complete it so with in eighteen hours he found out where is Sameera kept. He held Malik form collar and punched him till he could see the day light. He threw him at the wall and kicked him several times before he entered inside the room. Inside the room he saw a girl sitting in the corner with fear and tears shining over his face.

He went near her and said "Ma'am Maan singh khurana I am secret agent and your dad send me here so please come with me!"

She ran towards him and hugged him while stream of tears were running down her cheeks.

When Maan came out Malik had run away before Maan's team could catch him. Commissioner ordered to keep Sameera safe until Malik is safely behind the bars.

Maan's boss ordered Maan to keep Sameera at his home as it is secure and far away from the city.

First day Sameera was well behaved lady but as time passes she started to get near Maan and Maan didn't like her too much attention over him. But then one night she tried to kiss him and he pushed her away. She stayed all night seated in front of his door pouring buckets of tears out and when he walked out of his room in the morning he saw her. Maan sat beside her and tried to knock some sense into her "Listen girlie! I don't like you so stop making castle of dreams in air, it will vanish and you will leave with nothing but tears!"

"But I love you!" she said in harsh voice.

"There is not such thing as love and if you want me to satisfy your teenage hormones under the tag of so called love even then I am sorry, because I don't believe in love!" he shot back.

She remained there still sobbing.

"Listen girlie! Put yourself together and for goodness sake brush your teeth" he said finally getting up and walking away but her words stopped him "Maan you will believe in love soon because when fall in love it wont ask for permission it will just happen and you will have no where to escape from it!"

Maan laughed at her and walked away. He asked commissioner to shift his daughter somewhere else.

Was Sameera right when she said he is in love with princess, even if she is right Maan do not had pleasant history with love and relations. Because whenever he had little ray of love in his life fate took it away. Maan often imagine fate as cruel black hooded figure with poisonous dagger in its hand and when ever any one is happy it just plunge it deep in person heart and that person is left with nothing but sorrows. And fate has some unexplained rivalry with Maan it has stabbed him more than anyone else.

Maan born in small family who lives in valley of Kashmir but some extremist killed his parents and he end up at orphanage. A kind lady named Meher adopted him when he was five years old and brought him to Delhi but Meher and Maan was both unlucky because her husband was drug addicted due to which he used to beat her and Maan. When Meher couldn't bear his torture anymore she committed suicide and Maan so called foster dad send Maan back to orphanage when he was ten.

When he was fourteen a great man named Jai singh Khurana adopted him. He was under cover spy and Maan's Baba and mentor. He gave him all the love in the world and home. Their home was surrounded by love, care and lovely and there Maan had a friend named Prem but when Maan turned sixteen fate took away Prem as his father got transfer to other city. After Prem left Maan got closed to little angle named Maya. She was like his sister and Maan loved her alot he got to know her as he used to baby sit her. But again cruel fate played her nasty game and took Maya away from Maan with excuse of blood cancer. After Maya's death Maan promised himself never to get close to anyone and he build wall around himself. He asked his Baba to train him but before he could see proud smile on his Baba's face he got killed. He got killed same day he got appoint as undercover agent.

He had build high walls around himself so no one can get close to him and he got stabbed by fate again but princess came without warning and broke every wall around him and he had no idea what had make him fall for her. It was not more than five day before he had seen princess but the moment she got hold of his attention she had conquer his heart. He never knew when he fall for her, may be when he saved her first time or when he saw her in market place or may be when they had that dagger fight and she pinned him down or may be when he fake proposed her or may be when those pigs were misbehaving with her or may be tonight at park but he had fallen for her and no one can pull him out of this well of love.

But now that he had fallen for her he was sure fate was out there binding its time before it attack again over his heart so what to do now? He questioned himself.

He knows that she was the princess and he is just a guy and they can never be together but he has feelings for her which runs too deep and if Sameera hadn't pointed out today feeling will be still there but they won't have name.

Maan can never have princess in his life but that never means that he should abundant her or kill her because he was never able to take her life before and he don't have in him to kill her in future. And then his Baba's words echoes in his ear "Maan love is not selfish it is selfless, you always think about your love ones before you!" he said to Maan after Maya's death when Maan had locked himself in the room. "Maan! Maya was in pain, so we have to let her go we can't think about ourselves all the time, if we could have kept her here her pain will only increase! Maan love is not selfish it is selfless, you always think about your love ones before yourself!" he never understood his Baba's word then but he now understands them perfectly.

He can never have princess but that doesn't mean he should let anyone harm her. He will take his princess back to her palace where she belongs safely and he will make sure that one touches her as long as Maan singh Khurana is alive.

He looked at his royal sleeping doll and promised her and himself "I will never let myself or anyone else harm you and for that if I have to fight fate I will! Beware fate because Maan singh Khurana is all set to protect his princess!"

He then looked at princess who was busy dreaming about her knight and sighed then closed his eyes and draft into deep sleep.
