Part 7

It had been tree days since Riddhima was trying to say sorry to Armaan, and he ignoring her even before she could start with her apology.

Every time Riddhima tried to say sorry to him, he would either just go away from there or all her words would fell deaf ears for him. But that was not the whole truth, because somehow Riddhima's every word effected Armaan, but that was not a reason to forgive Riddhima just like that. Armaan also noticed that Riddhima was very kind to him and nowadays and gave him most of her attention. Riddhima kind of ignored the other kids sometimes, even her dear Akash and without knowing why Armaan felt great seeing that, but off course he wouldn't admit it to himself.

On the other hand Riddhima had seen a little cute Armaan, all his likes, dislikes and habits were almost the same as he was "big". How Armaan would smile to himself when he saw Riddhima taking care of him, but still would pretend to be angry with her and give her some attitude. Well that was what he exactly did now also, he had told Riddhima to stay as far away from Akash as possible and don't talk to him at all because he is "motto" and he is making fun of him and calling him pagal and found hundred reasons like that so Riddhima would stay away from Akash.

Flashback

Armaan was sitting by the river as always and today he was very sad and also angry with everyone. Today was 8^th September 2011 and it was a very special day, because exactly 25 years (9 years in Armaan's head) ago, the famous Armaan Malik was born and no one had wished him on his birthday, let alone giving him a gift. Armaan being himself didn't go around making announcements that it's his birthday, so he decided to sit on his favorite place and ignore everyone.

It was then Riddhima came and sat beside him and called him with love "Armaan" looking at who it was he looked at her angrily and said "patah hai mera naam Armaan hai unn'unnecery" Riddhima smiled and him and corrected "unnecessary"

Ar: ha wohi joh tumne kaha esa information dene ki zarrorat nahi hai" he said irritated

Ri: lekin mein toh tumhai kuch kehne aya ho

Riddhima said and while looking at him with love and thinking "oh God can someone get any cuter". While Armaan got a hope that at least someone would wish him, but soon enough he was proved wrong.

Ri: Armaan I wanted to say that I'm really sorry, meine joh bhi kiya woh galat tha please mujhai maaf kardo please I'm really sorry

Riddhima said while holding her ears and she had even some tears in her eyes, just thinking about the cruel moment her heart cried in pain, whereas Armaan was looking at the grass under his feet and then at her thinking about should he forgive her or not. After a little while he finally started "mujhai bahut bora laga, meine kuch bhi jaan bhuj ke nahi kiya that" he whispered sadly.

Ri: I'm sorry, friends?? Riddhima said and hoped that Armaan would agree. "Okay" came from Armaan but before Riddhima could get a smile on her face, Armaan's "lekin" came.

Ri: lekin??

Ar: aap uss motto ki saat friendship nahi karonge, usse baat bhi nahi karongi ur usse door rahongi.

Ri: why Armaan woh kitne sweet hai, eseh nahi kehte.

Riddhima tried to explain him, but Armaan was Armaan and had his own conditions.

Ar: No if you want to be my friend, then uski saat no dosti.

Riddhima knew how stubborn he was, so she thought to agree before he changes his mind again and today was a very special day and Riddhima didn't wanted Armaan to be unhappy today.

Ri: theek hai nahi karongi usse baat. "Promise" came from Armaan and Riddhima just smiled lightly at him while nodding her head.

Ri: Armaa tumhare liye ek surprise, do you want to see it??

Hearing this Armaan's eyes lighted up and he got very excited while saying "sach??" Riddhima smiled at his excitement and said "ha sach" and then opened her back and took out a gift with blue cover and gave it to Armaan with a birthday card.

Armaan opened the birthday card first, where it was written

Wish you a very happy birthday Armaan

I hope to see you with a smile the whole life through

I'm really sorry for hurting you and I promise that it will never happen again.

The sweet card Riddhima had made for Armaan brought a cute dimple smile on Armaan's face indeed, saying a "thank you" very sweetly he opened the gift he got from Riddhima seeing what it was he said "wooow a comic book of Superman, patah he is my favorite hero, jab mein bara ho jao toh mein bhi Superman banonga" Riddhima just laughed at this and before she knew it, she got a very big bear hug from our dearest Armaan.
