CHAPTER-11 Maan was very happy .he has never been so excited to go on a day out.The reason was geet (obviously😆) . It was planned long days before that dev and maan would go out and spend some time, a break from busy schedule. But meera and geet were added to the list.how will both the brothers miss their opportunity to be with their angels .
Maan was ready and went to the living room where dev and meera was witing for him. He didn't find geet. so he decided to ask dev.
MAAN : geet kahan hai?
Dev and meera smiled at eachother.
DEV : woh... bro (he said hiding his laugh) the last place u could expect geet is jungle ...usse animals se bahut darr hai...isliye nahi aarahi hai...
MAAN : darr?
DEV : haan bro humne convince karne ki bahut koshish ki ...aap chaiye toh try kar sakte hain.
Maan called geet.
GEET : good morning cadu
MAAN : tum kyun nahi aarahi ho?
GEET : woh...main...jungle...
MAAN: shona ye kya baat hui ...main bahut bore ho jaoonga so tum bhi aana...u ll be fine there ...
GEET : lekin maan...
MAAN : animals todi tumhe kaayegi...u trust me na (that was more like statement than qus )
GEET : ok
MAAN : get ready ...we ll be there...
they went to pick up geet .She was seated in front maan was driving while dev and meera seated back.
geet was not very happy with the idea.but how could she say no to maan.Others were having good time.
stopping near forest office maan and dev went to get permission to go to forest.maan noticed that geet was very uncomfortable. so he asked dev to drive from there so that he could sit with geet to make her fine.
Geet was very scared of the atmosphere. The forest was deserted ,though she couldn't see animals she could her some sounds.Maan noticed geet was tightening her hold on her shirt.He placed his hands near her but was not sure how to take her hands in his. BUT thanks to the monkey which was staring at geet she suddenly got hold of maan's hand.
Then they reached the most interesting place in the forest where we can watch lions so close sitting inside cars without disturbing them.( something what we see in movies like lions will be moving around cars and all that) . Maan and dev were used to that kind of adventures a lot . But bichari geet was very scared.they stopped the car to get clear image of lion which was slowly heading towards them.
When the view of lion was clear geet couldn't even see it she just went near maan and hugged him sideways. She hid her face in his chest.The safest place in the world that anyone could ask for.Maan slowly placed his one hand around her waist and other on her head caressing her.Geet was very scared but maan didn't want her to miss the beautiful sight (beautiful sight???!!!!)
MAAN : geet deko...its amazing...
GEET (in scared tone) : nooo
MAAN : shona come on
Geet nodded a no.Maan turned her to face him and gave a peck on her forehead.
MAAN : kuch nahi hoga ...just look there...
She slowly turned to look the lion it was so majestic. but it was nothing when compared to the sher near her.She smiled at her thoughts.Geet placed her head on maan's chest and they both were watching the actions of lion.
After spending more than 5 hrs in forest they returned to a house . It was khuranna's rest house sort of.There were servants who served them lunch.Later dev and meera went around the house but geet decided to stay in the house as she already had too much that day. Maan decided to stay with her.( say something new...lol)
Maan was sitting in the balcony while Geet came and sat near him.
GEET : u know what !!!! i can't believe i saw a lion so close.agar aap nahi hote toh main yeh kabi nahi karti.
Maan's pride was seen in his face so geet decided to put that down.
GEET : phir bhi koi picnic keliye jungle aata hain kya? i mean ...how weird ...
MAAN : i ll always come here (said making baby face)
GEET : wat !!!!! u must be kidding right.
MAAN : aisa nahi geet. i was always alone. jab main 8 saal ka ta mama guzarayi . Dev was very young so papa aur daadi ke full attention uss pe ta . phir muje bording school jaana pada . wahan bhi mera koi dost nahi ta . everyone thought i was proud and arrogant . lekin geet main kar bhi kya sakta ta i was brought up in such circumstance jahan hamesha mere dadaji humare family ke baare mein itni badi badi baat kehate te that i was so much obsessed with that. dev was lucky that he was always under daadi. Jab main bada hua mere characters bhi badi hui and sab muje MSK ki pehachan se jaanne lage. kabi kisi ne maan ke baare mein socha hi nahi.(he choked between words) maan kya chata ,maan ko kya pasand it never mattered to anyone. Isliye main aise jungle mein apne aap ko doondta hoon.
Geet was surprised she has never even thought that maan would have such a side.Maan has never disclosed his feelings to anyone but somewhere his heart wanted geet to know everything.
geet had no words all that she could do was just console him with hug and he haooily responded to it. It was geet who makes maan alive in MSK.
They were disturbed hearing dev who shouted for them from outside.they broke their hug .
MAAN : its late ...we should leave
He left without waiting for her response.
GEET : aap nahi jaante ki main aapke andar jo maan haina usse kitna pyaar karti hoon. Main aapko kabi akele nahi mehasoos karne doongi.
That was the end of their day but beginning of their story.
