Geet all of a sudden felt really upset because she forgot such a special day, she didn't even know how she could forget this day. she immediately ran to annie and hugged her tight, she had tears in he r eyes. geet couldn't help but cry she was so ashamed of herself, how could she forget annie's birthday, this was one day they both waited for all year.

geet(sobbing): mujhe maaf karde annie, im really sorry I forgot our birthday, kitni buri dost hoon man aur tum ho ke itna kuch kiya. im really bad

annie: tu roh kyun rahi hai aise kushi kai mauke par koi rota hai kya. and im not upset with you sach kahoon toh ek tarah se acha hua kai tum bhool gayi varna yeh surprise kaise deti.

geet:par tumhara bhi toh birthday hai and you did this for me, aur maine tumhare liye kuch nahi kiya. that's not fair

maan was watching this all from some distance and so was everyone else. maan felt so proud of the two they were so close to eachother after his mum and rano mum these two were the closest and it was so nice to see that, he knew where ever his mum was right now she would be happy to see this bond between the two.

maan had to break the silence he couldn't stand it anymore the atmosphere had gone too sad.

maan: ahem ahem. maan cleared his throat to get some to get some attention

geet and annie lookd up and both wiped there tear and tried to smile.

geet: uff dekho na maine toh tumme bhi rula diya

annie: haan aaj kush hona chaaiye aur hum roh rahe hai.

geet: aur dekho sab dekh rahe hai

maan: ab tum dono wahan hi kare rohogi ke yahan bhi aaoge

geet (wispers to annie): uff isse zaroor yahan hona tha, im already so mad at him.

annie just smiled, actually she wanted to laught, maan was the one who did all the arrangements, infact he didn't even let annie stay to see how the arrangement were going on, and now she knew why, the party was for both of them not just geet, the arrangements were half done to geets liking and half to annies liking she felt so happy today, she loved her maan bhai even more now, and she knew geet would aswell after knowing who did all the arrangements.

geet: waise annie yeh sab kisne kiya?

annie: tu chal toh sahi sab pata chal jaaye ga

geet: ok

geet and annie walked up to the stage where maan and few of their other friends were standing. geet looked at maan and gave him evils and twisted her lips and looked the other way. maan couldn't help but smile and roll his eyes at her antics he knew she was still really mad at him but he knew her anger would vanish once she found out who did all this.

geet: annie ab bataa yeh sab kisne ne kiya?

annie: you really want to know who did all this?

geet: well duh

annie: toh.. yeh sab... maan bhai ne kiya

Geet was just so shocked that her mouth was just open, she didn't know what to say. she couldn't believe it Maan did all this. Maan just smiled at her reaction she looked so cute he thought

maan: geet muh toh bundh karo, makhi ghus jaaye gi

geet came out her trance, she was completely speechless

maan: kya hua, acha nahi hai kya

geet(self-thought): uff mujhe isse naraz hona tha, lekin ab kaise ho sakti hoon itna sweet surprise diya, aise mein main kaise naraaz reh sakti hoon

geet: nahi nahi mujhe bohot acha laga. kya sach mein yeh sab tum ne kiya?

maan: well I cant take all the credit, actually idea annie ka tha

annie just glared at maan, he wasn't supposed to tell her that, now geet is not going to forgive him. she had to think of something,

annie(self-though):wait actually he did do all this mujhe toh yahan zyada time rukhne bhi nahi diya

annie: haan lekin, aap ne toh mujhe bhi nahi rukhne diya, you even surprised me by decorating it by half my taste and half geets, sach bhai aap bohot ache ho.

maan: kyun tumme kya laga ke main tujhe bhool sakta hoon, akhir tum dono ka birthday hai, toh party toh dono ke liye hona chaaiye na.

geet: thanks maan, sach mein bohot acha laga

maan: abhi party shuru hi kahan hui hai. abhi picture baki hai mere dost. maan said in a totally filmy style which made geet laugh, maan was happy that he could cheer geet up.

maan: toh abhi cake nahi katna kya?

maan told arjun and pinky to bring in the cakes. There were two cakes, one was for Annie and one was for Geet.

geet: wow kitne khabsoorat cake hain

annie: haan bhai sach thank you.

maan: ab thank you hi kehte raho gi ya phir cake bhi kato ge

geet and annie cut there separate cakes and first fed eachother, then the rest. after the cakes were cut was time for some dancing.

everyone were in their own groups, maan thought this was the best moment to apologize to Geet, so he said they should get into pairs, so the pairs wer as pinky and adi, annie and arjun and lastly maan and geet, basically the same pairs as trekking.

maan: toh geet kaisa laga yeh surprise, I hope your not mad at me anymore

geet wasn't going to give In so easily, even though she had forgiven him she wasn't going to leave this chance to pulling his leg.

geet: tumme kya laga kai yeh sab karke tum mujhe mana lo ge

after hearing that maans face immediately went low and his smile completely vanished.

maan: woh mujhe laga kai shayad tum yeh sab dekh kai kush ho jaaogi

geet: acha... geet looked at him he had gone really upset and down, she couldn't take it anymore if she put up with this act any longer she wouldn't be able to stop laughing.

geet: waise tum ne teekh samjha, main tumse naraaz nahi hoon ab

maan immediately looked up and smiled brightly, he was delighted that geet forgave him, he didn't know why but he was really very happy that geet wasn't mad at him anymore.

maan: sach matlab tume mujhe maaf kardiya

geet: ab kya karoon itna sab kuch karne kai baad mein tum par kaise naraaz reh sakti hoon

maan was really glad that this plan worked and thanked god geet forgave him, he had been really restless since last night, he couldn't think of any idea that would make geet forgive him, but when annie and him made this plan in the morning he had a good feeling about it.

maan: acha geet apne aankhe band karo

geet: kyun ?

maan: arre baba karo na

geet: lekin baat kya hai

maan: agar baat bata di toh surprise kaisi

geet: ok ok

geet closed her eyes and waited impatiently.

maan took out a small box neatly wrapped with a golden wrapping paper

maan: acha ab haath aage kar

geet did as maan said, and maan placed the box in geets hand.

maan: now open your eyes

geet slowly opened her eyes and a saw a small gift, she instantly had a smile and got excited wondering what it could be.

geet: arre yeh kya hai?

maan: khol kai dekho kud pata chal jaaye ga

geet very carefully took of the wrapping paper, and opened the box and what she saw inside made her really happy and feel special, she loved it

maan: do you like it? maan was very worried, he didnt know if geet would like it, this was probably the first time he ever got any girl besides his sister annie a gift.

geet: i love it maan its beautiful

maan: sach tumme pasand aaya?

geet: haan

Then out of the blue geet just hugged him tight, it was a very sweet moment for both of them.

maan had brought geet this beatiful 'me to you' necklace which said best friends, when maan saw it he though he had to buy it, it was just so perfect.
