hey guys!!!!!!i have made a ff corner for the ff readers and writers ...

and i know u must be thinking what's this😕so plz go through the 1 post of this link...i have explained everything!!!!!

it will be a benefit or writers as they can advertise and post updates in this thread so the readers will get updates and no need to pm everyone as it takes a lot of time ...

as per readers they can give their advice and suggestions feedback etc...here.

so plz inform me which ff's do you write and i will post it in the page 1

Part 4

The main disadvantage with the seating was that Daanish was sitting directly opposite Pia. All throughout dinner he kept trying to make eye contact with her. When that failed, he tried to touch her on the pretext of taking some dish or the other from her.

Mid-way through the meal, Pia felt something bump her leg. Looking up, she saw Daanish smiling at her slyly. Disgusted, Pia got up and excused herself from the table, pleading a very bad headache.

In her room, Pia pressed her forehead against the cool glass of the window. She stared out sightlessly at the dark night, and tears fell from her eyes.

Why? Why does this always happen to me? I was so happy with Abhay, but he left me. I was happy with my new family, but now Daanish... What if Panchhi found out someday? What if he is actually cheating on her? What should I do?

Pia's head spun with question, and a sob escaped her.

"Pia?" her step-mother questioned.

Pia spun around. "Oh...aunty.. I - I didn't hear you come in."

"Umm..yes. I just...tumhein medicine dene aayi thi." Madhu replied.

"Thank you aunty." Pia took the pill and swallowed it.

"Uh...Pia?" Madhu said hesitantly.

"Yes aunty?"

"Is everything okay? Tum aaj comfortable nahin lag rahi thi. Kayi baar notice kiya..."

Pia was torn. She wanted to unburden herself to Madhu, but how could she give her more pain?

"No aunty. Everything is fine. Bas woh...weather and college work...Just tired."

"Sure?"

"Yes, perfectly." Pia smiled.

Madhu got up to leave. She looked down at the little girl before her and reached out a hand to touch her head, but something stopped her. She turned away.

"Aunty?"

Madhu turned back towards Pia.

"Yes Pia?"

"Thank you. And goodnight."

"Goodnight beta. God bless you." Madhu smiled and left.

Pia sighed and got into bed before Misha could come and ask her questions - she had seen the look in her eyes.

An hour later, Misha came into their room.

"Pia...are you awake?"

When Pia did not respond, Misha sighed and went off to sleep. Hearing her breathing deepen, Pia too slipped into the land of dreams.

Outside the window, the moon peeked through the clouds, and a single moonray touched Pia's face...

@Madhu...She's just human. She knew about Pia, she accepted her, and even loved her, but, she was another woman's daughter - the woman who her husband loved, who he nearly left her for. Thodi hesitation toh is natural. What say?
