GeetHSP - Thanks for liking my title! This title seems to sum up what usually brews inside Maan and Geet! 😳

I am pasting the prelude again here because I added it late:

The lightning and thunder are getting more and more apparent now indicating that the storm is very near. He gets more anxious about getting this over with. He opens the hood of the car and starts looking inside. The girl starts talking ' "Thank you so much for helping me with this and for saving me earlier. By the way I am Geet. And you are?" He pulls his head out of the hood and looks at her heatedly. "I have no interest in knowing who you are and what your life story is. Shut up and let me focus." He replies! She looks at this arrogant man astonishingly and wonders how this man can be so helpful yet so rude. "Oh well, let him help me get my car fixed so I can get out of here. Coming here was a big mistake!" She thinks to herself.

He finally finds the problem with the car battery wire being unhooked, fixes it and test-starts the car. It works! Geet goes towards the driver door while Maan tries to get out. Both miss and bump into each other. "Sorry!" Geet speaks apologetically. Maan gives her yet another unkind look while saying, "Ab jao yahaan se! Tumhare jaise logo ka kuch nahi hone wala. Life mein thodi problem aayi nahi aur nikal pade apni jaan dene! Tumhare jaise kamzor logo ka kuch nahi ho sakta." (Now leave! Smallest challenge in life and here you are trying to kill yourself. Nothing can be done about a weakling like you!) Geet gives this insensitive man an unhappy look right back, gets in the car, pulls out, and drives off. Maan stays there staring at her white BMW SUV until it vanishes in the fog, then goes back inside his cabin.

It has started snowing already. He doesn't feel like going out for fishing anymore so he tries to occupy himself. He opens his laptop to try to connect back to the world, but flashes of what just happened flood his mind. "Who was she? Why was she crying? What was she doing here at this time in this weather anyway? Why was there luggage in her car? Why did she plunge in the ice cold water?" He tries to concentrate but kept getting distracted. He feels uneasy by the fact that he can't get her out of his head. He decides to cut his weekend getaway short and heads back to New York City.

Geet on is now back on the highway, driving aimlessly. Flashes of last night come crashing before her eyes. A tragedy has turned her world upside down. The words of that email keep cycling through her head. She had accidentally come across it in her husband's open email account. How could her husband have done that to her? He showed that he loved her so much. How could she not have sensed this? 5 years of marriage came crashing down like a deck of cards in just one moment. Tears start flowing down her cheeks again. But quickly gathering herself, this brave woman focuses back on the driving. She calculates the repercussions of going back to her parents, relatives, or friends. She knows they won't understand why she just abruptly left without trying to sort out the issue. She feels cheated by the very world that once adored her, and wants to get away from it. Where can she go? What should she do? How should she start fresh? She can't let this one man defeat her. She had made a life for herself thread by thread. She can't let this man ruin all that made her who she is. She knows she has to start fresh and prove herself not just to the one that betrayed her, but to herself too.

She decides to go to New Jersey to her Tai's place until she figures out some other arrangements. She hasn't met her Tai in 8 years, but knows that her Tai will accept her with open arms. She is only her dance teacher but she used to treat her like her own kid.

She continues driving, this time with a destination in mind.

I totally love this new spin on Maan's character...well it isnt that new coming to being arrogant, blunt, egotistic. But a man liking fishing that is just awesome!!!

Geet is just a little too cute😳...but whatever happened to her seems so sad. I really wonder what her husband did to her. And she cant trust the people she cares most...Wow..This is getting better and better

And Maan's care that shows up a little to late was wonderful. It felt so real. I love this new cognizance that he has...
