Part -29

Maan turned and left as mish took her way out after a long day in work as well as emotionally.

Maan is driving his car lost in thoughts " what ever misha said this cant be the reason of geet being away from people mainly men….not trusting in relationships is not happening becoz of her mother's dead. I still feel that some thing is missing. But what??? I had to know. I had to know her day in college. As misha told meera would know about her college days. I should speak to meera tomorrow."

Maan decides to speak to meera and thinks of all the times when he used to watch geet from behind a tree secretly and the day when he met her on the road again after 6 long years….how she came to his office……their nok-jok…..maan demoting geet from asst.architect to his secretary to keep her close to him………he making her work more and more to make her angry on him……..she opening her angry at him…….giving names to him….her calling him dust danav…….. their eye locks….geet's restlessness when he comes close……..her first presentation……..he shouting at her for change of schedule……then he saying sorry to her……..she forwarding her hand for friendship……..her confusion he found……….lunch together…….their days as friends……her calling him maan sir in office and maan when out of work……their phone calls……good night and good morning messages almost every day…….a smile comes on maan's face by thinking all of those memories.

He turns his car inside khurana mansion and the time is 9.40 p.m. He parks his car and goes inside. He finds no one in the living room so starts ascending the stairs. When he reaches the last step some one comes with full speed and bumps him and both falls down on the ground.

Maan turns towards the person whose back is facing him and is about to shout when the person says "sorry…sorry" and turns towards maan.

Maan is surprised seeing her there and when is about to speak she exclaims in surprise "maan ji aap!!!"

maan says "meera!!!!"

meera cuts maan in the middle and says worriedly " maan veerji I am sorry I am so sorry….i dint see u coming…plz mujhe maaf kardo…I will never running into you again…plz…I m sorry"

before maan say anything dev comes there running and says "bro aap agaye"

Maan turns towards him and asks "what are you both doing at this time here?"

"wo bro I invited meera to home for dinner just to introduce her to dadima" dev replies.

"hmm…teekai" maan says to dev.

"bro I m going out to drop meera…I will see u later bye." Says dev and turns to meera and signals her to come down and leaves from there.

Meera again says " sorry veerji…."

Maan stops meera ans says "meera don't say sorry that many times….its ok….happens……"

Meera is happy that maan dint say her anything " thanks veerji...to mein chaliti hoon"

When meera again turns to go he stops her " meera mujhe tumse kuch baat karna hai"

Meera says "batav veerji kya baat hai?"

"wo…wo…geet ke bare mein" maan says.

Meera is surprised at first but again she remembers that day in resturant and thinks " I thinks veerji is thinking that I m still angry on geet" ans says "veerji I m not angry on geet for that day in restaurant……haan us waqt gussa agayi par ab nahi….she spoke to me later and sab kuch teek hai…..she even told me about ur friendship…..thank god that she is happy again"

Maan sees the concern of meera for geet and says " meera I want to speak u about geet's past…"

Meera is literally shocked by what maan is asking and says "veerji….aap yeh kya bol raheho…geet ki past…aisa kuch bhi nahi hai…."

"meera plz don't try to hide from me…I know that geet had something gone wrong in her past….some thing or some one is so responsible for her behaviour now….and no one can tell what happened accept u…I know u both are friends from ur childhood" maan says.

"par veerji…" meera tries to say but maan cuts her in the middle and says " we will meet at coffee shop tomorrow at 10.00 a.m….meera u wil come…I will be waiting" .

Saying this maan walks away without even listening to meera. Meera stands their all shocked by his words when dev comes and pats on her shoulders.

Dev sees meera is worried and shocked so comes infrount of her holds her shoulders and asks "meera what happen?"

Meera is shocked so much that she doesn't reply. Dev shrugs her shoulders and again asks "meera…meera….meera what happen? Why are u staring like that?"

Meera comes out of shock and sees dev and says "veerji wants me to meet him tomorrow at 10.00"

Dev is confused and asks "kyun?"

Meera replies "geet ki baaremein baat karne keliye"

Dev is surprised listening this his bro who never showed any interest in anyone's life is now showing interest in some one and their personal life wo bhi a girl…that's a good sign ….i think I should speak to dadima about it..he thinks.

"dev why are u not saying anything" meera shakes him and he comes out of his thoughts " meera that's a good sign"

Meera is confused "what good sign?"

"meera u should go and meet bro tomorrow and say him everything what he wants to know about geet" dev says.

"dev par geet doesn't like that…." Says meera.

Dev takes her hand in his hand reassuringly and says "meera u don't know bro……girls die for his one gaze and his one single word…..but he never gave a damn look for them….he never showed intrest in any girl……but now not…did u see that day in restaurant how bro said sorry to geet….isn't the way soo sweet and romantic!!!...u know what…bro never said sorry to anyone….never…not even to dadima…..but he said to geet……did u observe these days bro is smiling a lot….sitting at the dining table lost in thoughts at dinner ya breakfast…..smiling to himself…..dont u think meera that he likes geet……."

Meera listening to dev with surprise on her face…but again her face falls down thinking about geet …what will be her reaction if she knows this….she still remember geet saying that she doesn't believe in love.

Dev sees her restlessness and takes her close and hugs her. She hugs him back and relaxes. They both go out and dev drives her to her house.
