He wanted to know who called her but it became more of a need. The thought of another guy calling her at this hour was killing him within. But he knew he was over thinking it...he opened his windows to get some fresh air and relaxed himself. This is silly he thought...he tried to reason himself but his disturbance was no where gone...

Geet- Mama tha

He almost laughed but held it back. Ouski ma thi idiot...lai kin tu ithna kyun soch raha hai?

Maan- Is everything ok?

Geet- She was trying to reach me but...

Maan- but she couldn't because you were trying to get hold of me

Geet was a little embarrassed now. She never went through the field of calling someone this much. She knew things were drastically changing between them and maybe it was for the best. She was happy..when she heard his voice, she felt a sudden relief...comfort was clearly visible. It felt as if there was music in the background made just for them. She hit her head with her hand and continued to blush

Maan-Tumhe kabse bolni ki bimari hai

That's it...Maan knew she was about to start her super fast talking machine...he loved it! The more she spoke the more he felt the urge to hear her voice over and over again...he grabbed some cotton balls just in case things get out of control...after all this was Geet.

Geet- Mujhe bolni ki bimari hai? Aap jaanthey hai apke kitney bimari hai? Aap andhey hoon...seedi seedi baat appko nahi samaj athey...hamesha apni mann mani karthey ho! Aur gussa...baap re baap!

Maan- Ye sab tumhari bimari hai...mere nahi!

Geet- oh haan...how can I forgot! You and your mini skirt walis. Chi chi babaji, kaise bina kapre ghoomthi rehthi hai

Maan fell off his bed dying of laughter. He was so loud that Nakul came inside to check if he was ok. He smiled seeing Maan so happy...it's been a long time since he openly laughed. He asked if he needed anything but he kindly said no and told him to go to bed...It's really late. Geet smiled...she thought he would for sure yell at Nakul for questioning him but he didn't...She liked that

Geet- Maan?

Geet- Kya hum dost nahi ban saktey?

Geet-Haan haan, humesha mein he galath samaj thi hoon

Maan- tumhari baathein kabie katham nahi hothi kya?

Geet widened her mouth and playfully angered her voice...Aur aap dusht danav...aap kadoos...aap dus sar wala ravaan...aur aap...

Maan- Geet!!! Hum dost zarour ban sakthey hai...so...friends?

She twisted her lips and blinked a couple of times. She was tired of fighting...he was nice guy but she knew people failed to see that...she initially did! She wanted to give this friendship a chance...but she wondered why she was thinking about it so much. She and Vicky became friends but this much hesitance and this much restlessness was never present. What's happening she thought...

Geet- Haan...friends

Maan wanted to see her...he wanted to scream in joy but couldn't as Nakul might come back.

Geet- Vaise ek baat kaho?

Maan- Permission mang rahe hoon? Ok let me think

Geet- Maan!

Maan- Acha baba..kaho

Geet- Tumne Arjun ke saath jo kiya...teek nahi tha

Maan- Geet he was insulting you! Or did you not see that?

Geet- Maan I know but he's your best friend...you shouldn't have gotten physical. Aur vaise bhi he apologized to me and I forgave him. You should too

Maan- I'll think about it

Geet- Nahi Maan, voh sach mein sorry tha. He was just worried for you...he didn't want you to get hurt in any way. Please...mere liya

Maan didn't want to argue with her but he couldn't ignore what she was saying...he closed his eyes and agreed.
