"Hands off my sister" Arjun roared as Maan held Geet, who looked like she would pass out any moment.

"Sister . . . Oops" Maan mumbled much to his own self and it goddamn struck him . . . He had actually hit Geet's brother . . . HER BROTHER! Well now he sure as hell has no chance with her. Holy shit! Here he had been planning a second Date, this time a good one at that, and even before he had the chance to counter check the arrangements he had very nicely and effectively ruined it for himself. Great! He had to act like a hot headed moron and chew (as in practically destroy) his cute little thing with Geet which hadn't even begun in all literal sense. Come to think of it, what a first impression he had made over Geet's brother. Couldn't she tell him she called her brother AS? By the way, what the hell was the logic behind calling her brother AS? She told him she calls him Veju, where did this AS calling thing hop in. Anyway, how does that matter now. Not like he could undo the black eye and bloodied lips of AS any which way. But Maan had to give it himself, he was a good beater . . . He had indeed beat Arjun like he had a janam-janam ka dushmani with him.

"AS we need to go to the doctor NOW" Geet said breaking Maan's chain of thoughts.

"Please" He sat beside her on the bench as she stood up and sat on the opposite side.

"Please" He got up as he yet again sat next to her and she got up to sit opposite to him yet again. Frustrated he ran a hand through his hair . . . He was done pleading sorry.

God! This girl was as stubborn as him. She just wouldn't listen to him. What did he do to deserve her indifference? Fine he had hit Arjun on the face, he'd punched him in the stomach, he'd kicked him couple of times and he'd beat him black and blue. And Arjun was in hospital cause of him but still he did not do it on purpose. He got carried away as. . . Fine he was Jealous and he got carried away in a fit of jealousy but his mistake wasn't that big which could possibly deliver him such coldness. For crying out loud, he was Maan Singh Khurana and going after a girl that too pleading sorry was not something which came in natural to him and here he was, begging forgiveness though he wasn't really remorseful at his behaviour. After all, it was not like some inane force would descend down from heavens and tell him he was beating the guy whom Geet saw as a brother and that she said love you as in sister love. . . not his fault . . . now was it . . . Hell yes. Even if he didn't know couldn't he just act civilised and do away with a punch or maximum two, what the hell was the need to blow lines of thumps at Arjun. But what was done was done. He couldn't possibly go back in time and do things differently. Damage was done and now he needed to so some repairs. That is if she let him, leave alone letting him apologise she wasn't even looking at him, how was he even supposed to think about damage control.

It was then Arjun walked out of the doctors cabin, bandaged all over . . . His wrist . . . knees . . . elbow . . . and his one eye was black and he also had a band aid covering his nose and his cheeks were blue, so were his arms. Well, that's just it, if there weren't any internal injuries as well.

With watery eyes, she hugged Arjun as she saw him come out of the doctor's cabin all bandaged. She heard a yelp and instantly she cringed, realising she is not supposed to pounce on him yet.

Seeing the extent of his injuries, her insides fumed as the scene flashed in her mind.

~Flashback~

Arjun stumbled backwards as a punch was hurled his way and he was pulled away for her. She stared wide eyed at the horrific scene her eyes were witnessing. Maan was ruthlessly beating her AS . . . Pari's brother . . . her BROTHER.

"STOP IT" she billowed more in horror than in anger.

Maan's hand froze mid air as he heard the terror stricken voice of Geet. She watched blood ooze from the corner of Arjun's lips and reflexively her hand reached out to hold him. "Oh my god, it bleeding" And she ALMOST fainted.

~Flashback Ends~

Arjun smiled at her, to ensure of he was just fine but Geet being Geet, would have none of it and she started crying rather wailing.
