After finishing his dinner maan went to his room. He loosened his tie on the way. He entered the room was dark. He just opened his shirt threw it on the couch he wanted to rest. The heavy food made him sleepier. In his tiredness he forgot all about geet and didn't see her sleeping on the same bed. He crept into the blanket, turned the AC to his desired temp 18 and slept.

Geet started feeling cold. She pulled the blanket more to herself and started cuddling towards the centre of the bed. She felt his warm body. By now maan was facing her and deep in sleep. She came closer to his warm body. She hugged him with her hand going behind his waist touching his back to grasp all the warmth. Her other palm spread on his chest. She then slipped her cold feet btwn his feet to make it warm. She never realised that this is not Rajji but Maan. Maan was moving by the sudden movement near his legs.

Geet mumbled in her sleep ' rajji thik se so na. Mujhe thand lag rahi hai.

The voice startled maan in his sleep. He opened his eyes to see geet hugging him and sleeping.

Maan shouted' geeeet

Geet opened her eyes in shock. She didn't move away from him.

Maan- hw cud u do this? Kal to bari sati savitri ban rahi thi, aj kya hua?

Geet was still in shock she thought she has done something terribly wrong like kissing etc in her sleep.# hayo rabba kahi m kuch galat to nahi kar diya neend mein# she asked meekly in a voice so tender that it wud melt anyones heart but here Maan singh khurana was in question.

Geet- m kya kiya? Kuch galti ho gayi?

He shoved her hand from his body and said very sternly ' dnt act smart...i wont melt to ur charms. U cant bed me. Got it u fool girl. Many girls hv tried this but have failed. U also get it straight dnt dare to try ur charms on me. If u have the slightest of self respect never come to me again.

Tears welled up in geet's eyes. She was insulted to the core. # How dare he says such low words about me. I never intended to do this. It was all a misconception but without listening to me he has told me such low things. I had decided today that we cud be friends and solve all the problems but this man has such low perception about me that he doesn't deserve my friendship. Chi chi babaji hw did he think i wud use my body to pataofy him# she sobbed, got out of bed stood facing him with her hands folded over her chest. She gathered all her energy. Asked her heart to stop wailing, made her brain to focus. She will not leave him to have such high air about himself.

Geet- first of all Mr Maan Singh khurana (mockingly) u r not Tom Cruise types that women are swooning to sleep with u. Im just not interested in u or ur body. Next use ur sensory organs dnt act robot see with ur big eyes, listen with ur ears and understand with ur little brain what other person is saying or doing and then make decisions (she pointed to his eyes making hers look bigger,then to her ear and then made a pinch to show his brain size).....i was sleeping here bcoz im married to u...

maan snaps- u conceded we will sleep separately.....

geet again cuts him...listen first. and said in one breath. Daadi came three times to check me sleeping. I cudnt go to sleep in other room. Moreover u never showed me the "other room" Mr. Khurana. U were the one who came after i slept but im not shouting "Rape" as u r doing. What were ur intentions when u slept next to me? I never asked coz i respected u and gave benefit of doubt to u. (firmly said)Last thing get it very clear im not into sleeping around with anyone..... (low voice says) i hold this as a gift for someone i will love...and u will never be the one.(again gains volume) It sounds sl**ish to me when u say i wud use my body.....YUK..... I will NEVER do it...i wud prefer to die before that.

By this time tears rolled down her cheecks. She was hurt. She turned to hide her tears. She slided the glass doors ran into the terrace. She never wanted to show him her tears.

#maan- felt awkward...i crossed my limit....i told her a little too much. Y am i not behaving like i used to. In presence of this girl i loose my control. Yesterday i was fighting lik a kid... in the car i allowed her to sleep on my shoulder. Today i shouted at her such low things without thinking. I shudnt have insulted her. She seems so disinterested in me. She never gawks at me like other girls...neither does she lament sweet words of appreciation at me nor does she seem much affected by my power and position. This girl is different...simpleton...i shudnt have said these words to her. She will get sick if she stays in open for long. Her feet were so cold when btwn my legs. The thought touched him somewhere deep down. The flashback of geet sleeping in his arms came to him. This closeness he had given to only one woman in his life and she too had used him bodily and financially. He tried to evede the thought and again looked at Geet. This girl was so unaffected by my personality....he looked at her crying with her back towards him...she is bare foot Uuuufff y doesn't she come back. #

he was rubbing his temple and combing his hair with fingers...#.what to do with this girl#

Maan knew she wont budge.....stubborn she is and hurt too.maan went out.

Maan ' geet andar ao. He said in a monotonus tone. He never knew how to be soft.

Geet doesn't moves or speaks. Maan holds her hand and pulls her. She snaps her hand and walks- dnt touch me. Im not ur type. She taunted.

Maan moved towards the other glass door on the terrace. A dark room behind it. He opened the door put on the light and turned to face her.

Maan ' this will be ur room.

Geet looked around....a clean room with white walls... a bed at one end, and a set of couch near the window sill. The room was simple, large but smaller than maan's. But overall good.

Maan seeing her looking around- u can make as much changes as u want...bed, curtains, furniture anything....u like things more coloured so change it...u just hv to tell nakul he will do the needful and whatever u want to purchase u can do it. He touched his back to realise he still has his wallet in his trouser. He took out a card from his wallet and handed it to her. Buy the things u need. Just sign my name there i will get the bills cleared.

Geet- finally spoke.....i dnt want anything and this is not right me signing ur name...

Maan said sternly' right now just do as i say. I will make further arrangements.

He sounded quite firm so she took the card. She didn't want to fight with him. She was too hurt by his comment.

Geet was looking at him in anger...Her eyes had one question #geet- kharoos didn't apologise #

#maan shot a glare at her as if saying- maan singh khurana never apologises and for me actions are louder than words...i never come after someone to make her comfortable....this is my way to say sorry#

Maan strode away then stopped by the door and said- daadi.......

Geet cut him and said- i will tell her that im making this my study as u dnt like books spread all over and i cant study in that graveyard maintaining ur discipline rules. Leave it to me i will convince her. Just remember to close the door of the room when u leave in the morning coz i will also come out of that room, so that she doesn't suspect.
