***next day***
Daadi was leaving for Chandigarh that evening. She told geet about every detail about the house and the management. Geet was quick with this as she had seen her mother and tayiji do all this pretty well. Daadi had made it a point that NT and DEV leave with her on her sickness ground so that maan and geet get good time together.
But this separated them further.
***Mall***
Geet was at the home decor shop daadi had recommended her. This was a shop daadi had patronized for decor. Geet got everything she wanted from there. She gave the card and delivery address of Khurana mansion.
The sales girl told very politely- maam processing and packing ur stuff wud take some time. Can u plz wait.
Geet smiled and nodded. She strolled around to check out some cushions.
Sales girl went to the manager.
***Khurana Empire Office***
The room was well lit and large. There was a large abstract some oil painting on one of the wall. One side was a big glass partition covered by venetian blinds. Huge wooden desk which was imposing in its look only. Behind the desk was a rose wood coloured wooden shelves containing files. Someone hesitantly knocked on the door. Yes came a deep voice. The name plate on the door read MAAN SINGH KHURANA in gold letters. Maan singh khurana was sitting on a big comfortable black leather chair. The whole ambience of the room oozed with authority and power of the young handsome man sitting on the towering chair.
A hesitant clumsy man wearing formal dress entered. First he adjusted his tie then specs. He was still fidgeting.
Maan didn't raise his eyes from the file and said- yes adi? Do u want to say something?
The man was adi. His chief accountant.
Adi ' yyyees sirrr... He stammered.. #kaise puchu...pata nahi...kahi galat information hua to aj mujhe naukari se nikal hi denge#
He gulps in.
Adi ' sir vo apka card sir...vovvvvvo abc card of xyz company..... sir kahan hai?
Maan glares at him. Maan ' kya??
Maan remembered geet. ' did they question her??
Adi ' no sir they said she has been asked to wait and they didn't want to say anything without proper enquiry. He fixed his specs with relief that he was not scolded.
Maan ' tell them to clear the bill on the card. And yes ask them toTreat her well.

Adi started to leave. Maan ' Adi get a representative from my bank today. I want a new account.
Maan opened a new joint account with G. Khurana and got credit cards on the same. Adi was instructed that all the bills on this account must be cleared without flaw. Adi assumed she was some relative whom maan was obliging seeing the Khurana title.
*** Khurana Mansion ***
After daadi, dev and NT left, Geet spent rest of her day arranging her room with the help of array of servants available to her. By 7pm she completed most of it. She wanted to do the last bits but the sincere helps started looking at the clock. Till nw they were enjoying working with geet as she was talking non stop and by nw all the staff in the mansion. even the gardener was there arranging some white lilies in a vase. She knew history geography of each servant. Each one liked her.
Geet ' kya hua? Kahi jaana hai nakul? Tum sab ek dusre ko aise kyu dekh rahe ho?
Nakul said hesitantly ' nahi wo mmmMaan sir k aane ka time ho gaya hai na.....unke aane k pehle sab kuch thik hona chahiye. Khana bhi nahi bana hai....varna sir..
Geet ' thik hai aj kuch short cut bana lete hai...
Nakul gulps ' shortcut aur maan sir........madam sir hum ko naukri se nikaal denge..
Geet was surprised to see everyone was scared of maan.....but y.......
Geet ' ok jao.
Two of them stayed with geet and rest left. Geet finished her work and came to the kitchen.
Geet ' kya bana rahe ho? Madad karu?
Nakul gave a list of all continental items. Geet cud decipher only few like some blah blah soup to some cheese pasta etc..
Nakul ' nahi madam sab mein se 1-2 item bhi kha liya to bhut hai.
2nd servant added ' vo vaise bhi jaara sa khana khate hai.
Geet ' to itni variety kyu, agar khate nahi...
Nakul ' madam sir se puchega kaun ki vo kya khaenge. Sab samne rakh dete hai vo jo bolte hain vo serve kar dete hain...bari madam rahi to vo puch k serve kar deti hai varna humari shamat hai...

Geet started tasting all the recipes and in the process filled herself. #uuuff m to taste karne mein hi thak gayi ye kaise decide karega ki kaun sa khau aur vo bhi bina taste kiye #
Geet ' agar jo chiz maan ne khayi aur vo achi nahi hui to?
Nakul ' madam tb to bas pura ghar jaan jaata hai....
BRAAM..... the gaurd came running and said 23min......
He was shouting 22min while leaving the door. Every staff was in a hurry now....everyone running to complete their jobs.....it was like earth quake but everyone was running to their job instead of outside.
Nakul ' looked at startled geet and said- madam sir ab 20min mein ghar pahuch jaenge.
Geet- how do u knw?
Nakul ' vo office ka gaurd ghar pe bata deta hai sir k nikalte hi. Fir driver last turn k paas do bar horn bajata hai aur gaurd sbko alert kar deta hai intercom se.hum roz yahi karte hai...madam sir ko mat khaiyega...vo meri naukari...
Geet assured him and then when they shouted 5 min she left for her room. It was like a cookery competition where all the contestants are doing their best and have to complete on time too. The stop clock was running.....one was polishing the already glowing marble floor, one was setting the plates and cutlery on table like using the measuring scale to keep everything at its place and at specific angles....one was busy decorating the dessert plate....oh God the whole house was under competition to make everything PERFECT. Actually she wanted to see the whole drama now. She hid behind the curtains of the wall to see what happens when maan enters.
