"Wel.. i ah.. dont think i should be in contact with you anymore..!" stated Abhay as stood rooted against the tree not willing to make an eye contact with Piya. He could hear Piya as she balled her fists and mouthed angrily, "What now.??!" her eyes glaring at Abhay's form.. He moved a lil ahead closing his eyes.. he reopened them when he had his back against her. When he did not say anything at all.. Piya repeated, "Abhay.. say me.. What is your problem now..?" she almost barked at the ending.. couldnt blame her.. it was so often that Abhay always talked about separation that now.. just seemed like a annoying topic to talk about..
"You know its hard for me too to do this.." Abhay said pitying himself for this condition.. "Then why Abhay.. why do you do this..?" she said as small crystal drops of water were beginning to form in her eyes, and they fell off instantly.. Abhay quickly moved ahead and rubbed them off her cheek..
'Stop it Abhay.. don do this to her.. you l make it more difficult for her.. just say it.. Piya is important than anything else... her life is.. i have to say this..' Abhay thought mentally as went back again to rest his back against the tree.. "Piya.. " he said quiet louder than before.. "Wel.. just go away.. and don talk to me anymore..!" he said in the same voice trying not to flinch at his own words which he felt were a lil rude.. Piya had stopped crying now.. she looked quite angry nevertheless.. "Oh.. give it a rest Abhay.. how many times have u exactly mouthed the same words.. are we not talking now.? Stop feeling so insecure.. i know i l be safe.. " she said with a determined and a hurt looked plastered across her face. Abhay took in a huge breath.. "It's different this time.. it's really huge.. ", "Yea right.. i ve heard the same things before too u know..!!" Piya intervened throwing a nasty look at Abhay, all he could do was chuckle at his condition.. it was pathetic.. it was as dumb as paying visit to a shrewd bed ridden aunt every month or so.. 'Stay away from me..' probably he must have said this to Piya from the time he met her till now like a chanting to ward off evil..!
'Find a better excuse and make it sound real.. you idiot..!' he thought to himself as he stood blank and Piya kept staring at him.. if he has got anything new to say.. she was quite sure.. it was just a small incident and Abhay would run off like a wild mane to send her off or somethng.. like that was ever going to happen.. she was hell bent that she was not going to leave Abhay.. no matter what..!
"Look Piya.. you know i loved you.. " he said while he took a break to take in Piya's reaction, her eyes swelled up and looked at him curiously in utter disbelief.. "Yes i LOVED you.. not any more.. we were friends bt i still loved you.. but not anymore.. i have just fallen for some other girl.. and wel.. " he let it go thinking she would just fill up the rest in her mind.. "What..???" Piya screamed in anger.. "Stop this Abhay.. is screwing up people's mind your hobby.. if it is, take that up as a profession cause you're so good at it.. look you already know that.. ' i love you' and will always do.. you like some other girl.. fine.. (she said it with great difficulty) i don mind.. go with her.. but hell why should not speak to me anymore..?" she let her pain be present in every sylablle she spoke..
'Why didnt i think of this question' Abhay scrambled in his head for an answer.. mustering up the courage.. "Basically i don want to cheat on my 'girlfriend' (these words stung Piya, Abhay could see it as she flinched at it) and anyway i am dead bored to always have to protect you.. i mean i think you ve got used to it.. me being there for you.. all i want to say, i don give a damn whether you're an orphan or not.. i just cant do it.. cause you're one annoying woman.. and i cant stand you.. i loved Maithali ('but i love you more' Abhay thought) but you are nothing like her.. jst a very poor replica of her.. you are just too stupid for me.. " he ended making a face of disgust.. Piya couldnt believe that was all true.. she looked up in his eyes and realised that he meant them.. he meant them all. But Abhay was making all those disgusting thinking all the acts he has to do some other girls to make Piya believe his lies.. 'how annoying' he thought as he could probably was not comfortable in touching any girl other than his Piya..

Abhay and Piya were walking in the forest roads, Abhay had promised to show Piya the waterfalls he discover recently.. Piya let out a small cry, Abhay immediately moved to Piya face, which was now teary.. "Whay happened Piya, are you okay..?" he asked worried.. "Something stung me.." she said showing her left arm.. it was larger than medium scorpion.. Abhay shooed it off instantly and then noticed there was a piece of paper stuck to her arm.. he took it off ever so lightly.. some words were inscribed on it in dark blue ink..
