Part 71

Khabir stepped out of his car dressed in a simple white dothi and a dark maroon top, the most simple piece he ever had, come to think of it he did not have anything like this dress ever to have someone bind his eyes and Dhanish's voice telling him that he's going to take him someplace else. This was followed by a quick driving on the back seat with music running in the background till he finally decided to ask a quistion, "Tum loog muje kahaan lekar aarahe ho?"

"Jahaan par tume jaana hai!" Maya replied as the car was finally pulled over and they led Khabir through a tough path before finally opening his eyes to the sight off three women who looked like some kind of sage, one lady dressed in a pure white, another in a safron and finally the last in a yellow sari their faces covered under the heavy ghunghat they had worn, Maya answered him, "Yeah loog thridevon ke sanyasis hai, yeah loog apne pure zindhagi devon ka seva main apne zindagi ko kaatdhiya. Yeah loog tumhare shudi karenge, inke saath puja main baito aur jaise yeah kahe vaise hi karo no quistions."

Khabir quickly nodded and left with the three women, "Kuwar aap yahaan par nahakar, inkapdon ko pehenkar andhar aaiye uske baadh andhar aayie. Aur haan ek baadth ka dhyaan rakna jaab nahathe waqth main shuru hokar aandhar aane thaaq sirf aur sirf uss durga devi ke baare main sochna. Unka aashirwaadh ki saak zarurath hai aap ko."

"Ji…" he replied as the women went inside allowing Abhay to step out from inside were the stood dressed in a green kurhta and white pyjamas, his hair still wet from the bath, "Khabir will be fine Dhanish, don't worry, right Piya?"

"Right Abhay!" she replied, leaning against the wall of the cave, her arms folded in front of her chest, dressed in a yellow lehenga with dark green desighns on it with a matching blouse and a dark green dupatta with yellow buttas stichec on to it. Decorating her neck was a light yet beautyful gold and emarald neckleace in the shape of a a neam leaf with matching earings. On her wrists was a combination of yellow and green bangles with thin emarald and gold bangles on each end making her look like a goddess. "Dada aap ko mere liye ek kaam karna padega, iss kithab main mark kiya hua kithab ko pado issmain ek point maine mark kiya vaise hii ek amulet banna padega."

"I'll ask Maya to start working on it immidetly, Piya Mr. Dhobrial ne tumhare liye call kiya. I think it's best you go and attend his call." nodding Piya stepped out of the cave and called Arnap Dhobiral back, "Hello? Piya beta maine tume kai baar phone kiya -"

"I am sorry Mr. Dhobrial I was outside the range issiliye aap ko mere number mila nahi." she replied, "Kuch kaam tha?"

"Actually beta - pandit ji ne kundali miladhiya and he says it's a perfect match aur hume bhi Sidharth bahoth pasandh hai. We would really like to take this whole thing further - if…" he hesitated a moment, "I'll speak to Sidharth and Panchi Mr. Dhobrial don't worry about it I am sure vo dhonon rishthe ke liye haan kahenge."

"I hope the same Piya - beta ek minute there is a fax comming in, thanks Madhu. Piya ne finally phone kar dhiya… " he added allowing Piya to distinctly hear her stepmother's voice, "Muje phone do muje usse baath karni hai. Piya beta kaisi ho?"

"Main bilkul teek hoon aunty, aap kaise hai?" she asked sitting down and leaning agaisnt Abhay who was sitting with a scrool in his hand, adjusing their position in such a way that both of them could read it, "Beta tum aab kahaan ho? Kya main tumse mill sakti hoon?"

"Ofcourse aunty, aap ek kaam kijiye Mehera household paar aayie, main aab mandhir main hoon jaise dharshan hojay aathi hoon." she replied, "Teek hai beta…"

Cutting the line she looked at Arnab very supprized, "Usne hume ghar par buladiya, mandir gayi hai baas aathi hii hogi. Lagtha hai aksar mandir jaathi hai -"

"Kaun aksar mandir jaathi hai mom?" Panchi asked walkin in dressed in a simple bue track sute with a white top, "Piya beta maine use call kiya aur usse milne ke liye jaarahe hai tum bhi aao na."

"No thanks aap jaiye muje kuch kaam hai." she replied going away allowing the couple to get ready and go to Sidharth's house for the first time in their lives. What they saw though supprized them, the servent was ready and waiting for them with the door open. "Good morning Mr. Dhoprial, Mrs. Dhoprial please come in!"

Just as they sat down a servent handed them some watter, "Thank you umm Piya waapas aagayi?"

"Nahi ma'am she is on the way - oh thats Shayna ma'am excuse me for a moment please." he added allowing the Doprials to see the kind of home Sidharth had built up for him, "Very tastefully deisighned, aah kaafi music bhi suntha hai - opra? Ajeeb hai na Sidharth aur Panchi ka taste bahoth saare bathon main milthi hai. Kaafi aachi jodi gonge undhonon ka hai na?"

"Haan Arnap it's really supprizing, Piya? Aare waah kya laag rahi ho tum iss yellow aur green lehenge main bilkul devi ke thara." Piya smiled at Madhu's statement and handed her the, "Prashadh lijiye aunty, uncle aap bhi lijiye na ithna aacha khabar lekar aaye hai aap, muu tho meeta karna hi padega. Baitiye main baas aabhi aathi hoon!"

Going inside the kitchen she asked the cook, "Ghajar ko grate kar diya?"

"Yes ma'am yeah lijiye, aur jo saaman aap ne maanga -" she nodded cutting the cook off as her mobile suddenly beeped, "Thank you aap jayie I'll take care of it. Khabir ka nazar khula gaya hai, usse aab saab kuch dhiya gaya hai bahoth jaaldh hum kamiyab hojayenge. Laghta hai aaj muu meeta karne ke liye ek nahi balki do-do karan honge lekin filaal sirf ek ko celebrate karenge..."

"Yes ma'am yeah lijiye, aur jo saaman aap ne maanga -" she nodded cutting the cook off as her mobile suddenly beeped, "Thank you aap jayie I'll take care of it. Khabir ka nazar khula gaya hai, usse aab saab kuch dhiya gaya hai bahoth jaaldh hum kamiyab hojayenge. Laghta hai aaj muu meeta karne ke liye ek nahi balki do-do karan honge lekin filaal sirf ek ko celebrate karenge..."

"Do-do karan? Dusri kya hai?" Abhay asked walking up behind her dressed in his usual black jeans, tshirt and jacket, "Khabir ka kaam bhi hogaya hai aab kaafi aasan hoga baas poison ka naam clear karna hoga."

"Right so Misha would certainly push Mr. Dhobrial to give him some kind of assighnment to help get him back on track." Abhay replied with a smile as she set the carrot to quickly steam in a presure cooker in the side it slowly alowing it to cook before stepping away to pick up the sugar and milk, "The first even would be Sidharth and Panchi's engagement party jahaan par Mr. Dhoprial ko unlogon ka team ko higher karna padega. Uss party main jahaan par gusts ke naam par humare loog bhi honge."

"Exactly! Now all we need to do is get Khabir to do his part of the job allowing us to have all the information. Aur ek baar Panchi Sid ke kabze main aathi hai humara kaam kaafi aasaan hojayega!" she added taking a small thawa and pouring some milk into it and allowing it to get warmed up as the cooker gave it's first wizzile, giving a few moments she quickly opened it pouring the milk into it and used the same thawa to heat some ghee in it quickly dding dried grapes, cassues and cardomoms to it alowing it to roast a bit as she added sugar to the carrots, "Kaafi aasan nahi bilkul aasan hojayega!"

"Perfect plan Piya! Maana padega your a true genius tumhari mama ne kaafi aacha training dhiya hai tume." she smiled at him as she transfered the rosted fruits to the carrots, "Thank you sirf planning main nahi balki cooking main bhi - ghajar ka halwa thiyar hai. Now lets go celebrate Panchi and Sidhrth's engagement… Aunty!"

Mahdu turned around from the book shelf to see Piya walking in holding a tray with the halva that she took up, "Aare vaa muje patha nahi tha ke tum khaana bana sakti hoon."

"Kaafi aachi khaana banadheti hai - jaab se Piya meri zindagi main wapas aayi hai thabi se main ghar par khaana khaane lagha hoon. Good morning Mr. Dhoprial, Mrs. Dhoprial its wonderful to see you in my home vo bhi ithni subha subha!" Sidharth added smilling at the couple noting the way they were dressed very formally, Arnap in his gray sute and white shirt where as Madhu wore a light blue sari with a dark border, backed up by a dark blue blouse and simple platinum jwellery. It did not take him long to understand their intentions but he did play along raising an eyebrow towards Piya, "Sid biya baitiye na, vo kundali millgayi hai tho issi liye…"

"Oh!" he smiled with a blush on his face acting out the part very well - how could it not match? They had spesifically desighned it so, "Umm Piya why don't you go change thaab thaak muje Mr. and Mrs. Dhoprial se kuch baath karni hai."

"Ofcourse biya - best of luck." she added and Sidharth waited till she left before turning back to the Dhoprials, "Dhekiye main yeah tho nahi kahunga ke main ek seedha saadha types hoon, before I met Panchi main ek casanova tha lekin jaise jaise muje pyar hone laga tha main bhi dheere dheere badhalne laga tha lekin usse kehena tho bilkul naa mumkin tha. Issi liye Piya ne humare rishtha ke baath chedi thi, lekin saach main even Panchi does not know how I feel about her - but if your alright with this and Panchi bhi haan kehethi hai I'll be the happiest person in the world."

Madhu smiled at the way he spoke of Panchi his eyes had a glow of love in them, "Beta vo saab tho teek hai lekin apne baare main tho hume kuch bathao…"

"Hmm mere baare main…" Sidharth sighed and began giving a detailed talk about himself impressing his 'in-laws' deeply. As Piya quickly changed into a simple pair of black jeans and a lavender sleaveless tshirt along with it when Maithili appeared there, "Aap ke liye aachi khabar hai Shehzadi - aap ke aur aap ka rakshak ke rishthe ko aur gehera karne ka waqth aagaya hai."

"Kya didi aap bhi na - hum aab bhi aatara saal ke nahi hue." she reminded the aathma, "Tumhari iss jhanam ke muthabik lekin uss janam ke muthabik bahoth jaldh hojayega. Thiyar rahiyega."

Abhay was bussy packing for collage when Maithili appeared in front of him, "Abayndhr -"

"Guru ma ne bathadiya Piya kaafi dhari hui hai mere paas sona ek baath hai lekin mere saath -" Maithili smiled, "Jaanthi hoon lekin tum bilkul phikar maath karo Piya aur tum tho ek dusre ke kismath main ho tum dhonon ko alag karna tho na mumkin hai."

"Mera chintha vo baath nahi hai Maithili muje tho Piya aur Rajan ke beech jo ho raha hai uske baare main chitha hone laga hai. Aur darwaze ko kolne ke liye kiska khoon chahie yeah bhi tho hume patha nahi chala hai." he added rolling up the scrolls on the study table, smilling Maithili settled her self down on the desk before starting a lecture, "Abhandr Samrat tho ek aisa ladka hai jo andhere main paidha hua aur vahi par pala badha aur Shehezadhi vo ladki hai jo roshni main paidha hui thi aur vahi par pali badi thi dhonon dhushmain hai vo bhi kudhrathi bane hue tum yaa hum kuch nahi kar payenge sirf Piya ka saath dhe payenge kyunki kudhrath ne hume yehi karne ka aagya dhi hai aur usske kilaaf jaane tho namumkin hai."

"Lekin Piya ka dhardh? Vo tho mujse dheka nahi jaatha - issi liye muje uss dharwaze ka koolne ka ithna jaldhi hai." Abhay replied replacing the books on the desk into the sutecase he had left open, "Lekin dharwaza ko khoolne se zyadha zarri hai uske aasliyath ka patha karna bahoth saruri hai. Abhandr agar Shehezadi ko vo dharwaza ithna hi pareshan kar raha hai uska yeah mathlab nahi hai ke vo aachaiye ke liye hai. Ho saktha hai ke uss dharwaze ke peeche koi kaala saaya yaa bura thaqth phasa hua hai."

"Lekin Piya ko ithni geheri thara kareeb aana vo bhi baar baare tho sirf unke bhaas main hai jiske saath Piya ka khoon rishta hai jung ka nahi." he replied but Maithili shook her head, "Ya vo jiske paas uske dhemaag ki chabi hai - koi aise thaqth jisko isthimal karke vo loog Piya thak pahonch sakte hai. Lekin savaal yeah hai ke vo loog kaun hai aur yeah saab kar kaise paarahe hai kyunki yeah kaam sirf uska maa yaa pitha kar sakthe hai. Muje kuch aur waqth chahiye…"

"Maithili tum aur kithna waqth logi kya koi bhi raasha nahi hai unlogon thak pahonchne ke liye?" Abhay demanded getting the aathma irritated, "Abayndh unke aasli kahani sirf kuch logon ko patha tha aur vo bhi miit gaye hai aur waqth ke saath saath in kahaniyon ka aasliyath tho gayab ho chuka hai. Aur jisko patha hai unke kaai janam bhi hogaye hai jiske wajay se unlogon thak pahonchna tho na mumkin hai."

"Tho humare paas koi bhi raastha nahi hai?" Maithili paused for a moment before answering, "Hai - lekin uske liye hume ek thanthrika ki sagayatha leki padegi aur Piya tho -"

"Main usse baath karunga aur kithne dhinon thak apni aatheeth par thika rahegi?" he snapped closing the box, "Piya ko boldhena ke main paanch miniute main vahaan par huunga. Misha ka satus kya hai?"

"Misha apne kamre main soorahi hai - Raajan kuch waqth ke liye tho uske paas nahi jaa payega." Maithili assured him, "Abhayndr yeah Aadhithya vahi ladka hai na jisse Piya apna chota bai maanthi thi?"

"Vohi hai kaafi pyar karthi thi usse. Kyun?" Maithili shook her head, "Kuch nahi baas puuch rahe the."

With those words she disaapeared allowing Abhay to close the bag and return to the Mehera manssion where Piya was bussy adding masalas to the fried onians and tomatos, "Aab jaldhi karo - sirf kichdi ko thiyar kiya hai aur channa ko ubalne ke liye dhaala hai, aalu ki sabzi, puri aur chai bhi banni padegi. Patha nahi saab kuch kaise hoga."

"Main kuch madhath karu?" Abhay asked smilling internally at his lovers anatics she could easily face the hizzainesses but making a special meal would get her all hyper, "Nahi Abhay, I can't afford any errors in today's meal. Dheko tum isse fan kee neeche raklo aur jaise tandi hojathi hai paste banadho, aalu ko maash kar dhiya? Aur pyaas ko bhi kaat liya hai - ek kaam marthi hoon pehele aalu banadhethi hoon."

"Piya relax tume ithni tension leke ki zarurath nahi hai. Everythings going according the plan." Abhay reassured her, "Abhay I'm not worried about the plan its Sidharth he really loves Panchi, a lot ithna pyar shayaadh kabhi nahi kiya hoga. Maithili se bhi nahi!'

"I know Piya, bhale Panchi iss baath se appne aap ko anjaan rak rahi hai main aanjaan nahi hoon. Bai hai mera aur sabse aaja dosth bhi. Relax and finnish cooking, everything will be fine your there to push things in the right direction. Focus your energy on getting things done in the right direction than worrying. Tume ek kaam karo khaana banadho main crockery nikaal dhetha hoon."

Piya nodded as she tossed in the onians into the hot thawa for frying when her phone once again rang, a call she attended with her hands free, "Hello?"

"Piya it's me -" came the voice of Furu Jayanthini on the other side, "Haan kahiye maasi."

"Beta tumhari shaak nikla hai, dharwaza par jo art work hai vo tumlogon ke waqth ke baadh hai lekin Aadhitha ka mark tho uss dharwaze ko seal karne ke baath hua tha may be a few hundred years or so but not much." Tum Mr. Dhoprial aur Mrs. Dhoprial par focus karo aur collage jaathe waqth muje sms karo agar chance mili tho main tume contact zarur karungi."

"Teek hai masi!" she replied adding masala to the potatos and mixing them further when an SMS disturbed her - Piya muje ek kaam se urgently jaana padega, tum Sidarth ko bathado ke main dheer se aaungi. Panchi. "Panchi ko ithni subha kahaan jaane waali hai?"

The same quistion was asked by Mr. Dhopiral when his mobile also buzzed with an SMS from Panchi, Papa muje office ke kaam se urgently jaana padega, Misha ko utadhiya - she's getting ready for collage. Main aap ko baadh main call karungi. Sidharth looked supprized externally, "Office ka kaam ithni subha? I did not give her any such work - I'm sure she's come up with a wonderful idea or something." Internally though he was extreemly worried, it was not normal for Panchi to do something like this, Where are you really heading off to Panchi?
