@Monty Aww I cried writing it, I struggle to write the sad parts because they get me emotional because you have to feel the characters pain... Sid can never live in the past he is better than that...Thanks for commenting.

Thanks for all the comments, I know you want longer updates but I am trying as hard as I can but its just the pace I want the story to go at...I will try but I am writing as long as I can with the chapters.

"Its by chance we met, by choice that we became friends."

As weeks went on Riddhima noticed that Sid was totally different person he was closed off from the world he hardly spoke to anyone but Yuvi and was never in the hospital during his breaks. She felt she needed to speak to him make sure he was ok. She saw him walk down the corridor it was now or never as she was closing the gap she saw Sid's face light up, she thought it was cause of her the fact he had noticed her but when he stopped to face a cleaner and greeted him and took his blessing. She was shocked and surprised and just then Armaan had come up behind her. This startled her out of her thoughts. He came to discuss a case but her eyes were focused on Sid who was animatedly talking a way.

There was a staff announcement asking all staff to come to the reception. Riddhima knew she had lost her chance to talk to Sid. As they all went over Yuvi asked Sid why they had all been called her? Sid shrugged his shoulders not knowing why they had all been called. Just then Dr Shashank came over. "Good morning. You have been called here as I had an announcement to make we have a new addition to the team, I am sure most of you know who she is but still welcoming her back to the team...Welcome back Dr Tammana." Armaan and Riddhima did not know who she was but seeing the other doctors reaction she knew she must have worked here when her and Armaan weren't at Saanjeevni, she came out of her thoughts when she heard Sid said Ms Puppy Gayab!

Sid, Yuvi, JP and Jiggy had gone over to her. Riddhima watched in interest, they all seemed unsure what to do or say, whether they should hug her or not but she made the first move and hugged Yuvi and she heard her say I am sorry. Yuvi just nodded. Then JP and Jiggy asked her how she is and basic greetings and then left for duty. But her interaction with Sid intrigued and shocked her the most he went "Ms Puppy Gayab" she smiled and laughed they hugged but it wasn't like her and Yuvi's hug there was more to it, but Riddhima thought she is reading too much into it, she just seems like an old friend. They were about to start a conversation but Sid was called away. Tammana turned to Yuvi and went "What happened?" Yuvi was shocked and surpised. "Nothing."
"I know you are lying, I am asking you because I don't want to ask and hurt Sid."
"Meaning?"
" This isn't the Sid I left behind, he has changed and I am not sure if it is for the better."
"Yeah well you should have thought about that before leaving him."
"Yuvi you and me both know this isn't cause of me leaving so are you going to tell me or should I just find out from the hospital JP and Jiggy?"
"Later...I promise"
Tammana nodded and they both left to their respective work. Riddhima had heard the whole conversation and was surprised how easily she had read Sid.


The rest of the day went on as normal, everyone Sid, Armaan, Riddhima, JP, Yuvi, Jiggy and Tammana were all in locker room at the end of the shift. Armaan was complaining about what a busy day it had been and JP and Jiggy were silently agreeing. Yuvi and Sid usually got their stuff and left this was the first day they were both in there still. Sid spoke "Ms Puppy Gayab ready?" Tammana was confused and said "for what?" Yuvi and Sid both went "Dinner." Tammana nodded and said "Yes, but why are you two worried about it?"
"We know but we are coming to yours for dinner baba invited me earlier today." Sid said.
This sentence unnerved Riddhima, she was there silently listening she was shocked that Sid was so close to Tammana's family especially because he hadn't ever mentioned them before to her, but that is when she realised what did she know about Sid's life but Tammana's laughter broke her out of her thoughts
"You are having dinner with Baba?" said Tammana.
Sid and Yuvi nodded.
"Have fun, then. I am going home, I shall see you guys tomorrow."
Sid and Yuvi looked confused. Then the light bulb switched on in Sid's head. "Oh my god, how did I forget. Want us to drop you home before we go for dinner?"
Tammana was going to say no but then thought why not, good time to catch up on everything I have missed.
"Ok." They started to leave with a very confused Yuvi as they were leaving he asked "We are going to Tammana's house so why are we dropping her off and then going for dinner?"
Tammana laughed and simply answered "I am married, I don't live with Aai and Baba anymore."
Yuvi "OMG how did we all forget! How is Ankiet?"
Before Tammana could answer Sid interrupted and said "Chalo!!"


The three of them left talking on top of each other. Tammana was thinking it is good to be home but she was still wondering what had happened with Sid, I mean she noticed the old him in him but so much had changed he had become so closed off you didn't see the warmth in his eyes anymore, he was silent especially today in the locker room or usually he is there talking to JP and Jiggy. He barely acknowledge Dr Armaan and Dr Riddhima in the room and him and Yuvi were closer than before she had left. There were a lot of changes she understood Yuvi's behaviour with Naina gone and him trying to move forward but with Sid she couldn't work out what had happened. Days went on and she and Yuvi had not had a chance to speak it was frustrating her to know and she did not want to cause Sid any pain he looked so hurt the first time she saw him after months, she just wanted to know what had happened to him. She finally managed to corner Yuvi one day during a lunch break. When she found out the truth, it shocked her all she wanted to do was go and hug Sid but she was so lost in her thoughts for the rest of the day...


Do leave your comments...I know I had to bring Tammana back 😆 but I have a very important reason for doing this it will come to play later, she is married and shall remain happily married to Ankiet 😆. Orginally it was meant to be Shilpa but I realised that Tammana was better to come back at this point, it will make more sense as you read on.

Wow Tam is back. I am stunned, but it's good. Riddhima needs a huge blow to her head and I really hope Shilpa comes and takes charge/
