Abheer's Estate
Misha looked at herself in the mirror and she actually wanted to get out of that handkerchief in the name of a dress. A white slinky sleevless linen dress with a baby pink sash running under the breast line. Abheer had given her that dress to wear to get rid of her soaking wet mango yellow singlet and flower shorts. He had led her to his bedroom, never leaving her hand and reassuring her that the dogs were gone and she was safe. And then, he had opened his a glass wardrobe and pulled out this white handkerchief, oops dress and handed it over to her. He had causally said that women come and go out of his house, so he really didn't remember to whom this dress belonged…. But he sure remembered removing it off some woman with almond eyes. And then, shrugging his shoulders , he had gone out of the room saying that he would be back when she is looking less transparent and he himself is dressed decently.
Misha ( brushing her hair )- I don't remember making such a fool of myself in my entire life of 17.5 years! I ran into a bathing man's bathroom!...( throws away the hairbrush ) ….and I almost got killed by those ….those….
Flash : Sambhav almost smothering her to death in his werewolf form and then, those dogs rushing after her.
Misha shudders and sits down on a couch, holding her head.
Misha ( disturbed )- What is happening? Why am I recalling … recalling Sam's attack? I haven't thought of it in a long long time…( looks around )… is something wrong with this… this house? I should tell ….( struck)… tell whom! I still don't know his name!
Just then, the door opens and Abheer walks in , casually dressed in a black vest and khaki three-fourths, his hair dry and falling over his forehead as though to camouflage the intensity and darkness of brilliant green eyes , the lion face on his arm looking fiercer . He is carrying a mug of hot chocolate and as Misha turns to look at him , he raises his eyebrows at her.
Abheer( looking at her )- Oh, great. The dress fit you just fine. Am sorry its short but the women I date , don't wear much clothes… ( grins )… or don't get to wear much. Here , drink this. Your rattling nerves will come to a rest.
Misha ( shaking her head to get off the hypnosis of his eyes )- Err, ummm.. thank you. What is it?
Abheer ( sitting opposite her like a prowling tiger and his eyes running all over her )- HOT…..( smiles).. I mean, hot chocolate.
Misha ( feeling goosebumps )- Thank you… ( not looking at him )…. I just came to your house to thank you. I mean, you took me to my home , got my car repaired and…
Abheer ( resting his chin on his knuckles )- And sent you flowers , following which you practically barged into my estate , got almost eaten up by my dogs , ran into my shower or rather my arms when I had nothing on and soaked yourself wet……( smiles )… are you always this adventurous, Misha? Or has …( narrows his eyes at her , gets up and leans down to look into her doe eyes, fingering the hair on her forehead )….has that werewolf attack made you impervious to fear, hmm?
Misha feels all the nerves in her body scream and the chocolate mug drops from her hand , crashing on the floor , colour draining out of her face. She thinks she is going to drown into his eyes against her will and she can suddenly hear her heart pound. WHAT DID HE JUST SAY? …..WEREWOLF ATTACK?
Abheer smiles at her , locking her position with his arms and looking down at her as though she will be soon at his dinner plate.
Abheer ( whispers )- The dogs brought Sambhav's trauma back , didn't they? Awww…. My little white lamb. Scared you?
Misha ( horrified and unable to move from his physical and psychological control )- Who…..who are you…..
Abheer ( caressing her cheek with the back of his hand )- Don't be scared. Maybe no shield is protecting you like Piya is protected… but….Abhay protects you, doesn't he? So, will he come to protect you here as well, hmmm? Oh dayumn!...( leaves Misha with a jerk and stands up)… how will he come to protect you, baby . There is no radar on you, is it?
Misha is just looking at him, shivering and numbed in shock . She doesn't move and Abheer is looking at her mischievously , jamming his hands into his pockets.
Abheer ( winks at her as he checks himself out in the mirror )- Don't look so shocked, Mish. Look shocked when your darling Sam gets confused between you and that sexy siren T…( gives a twisted smile that makes him look evil and irresistible all the same)….poor you. You must be feeling left out , right? I mean with all these werewolves, vampires and a few mortals mating , you are still…( looks back at her )…. AVAILABLE?
Misha is screaming inside. WHO IS HE! Oh no! Where have you walked in , Misha? He is…..he is…
Abheer ( finishing the line for her )- BAD NEWS. That is what I am. Now, you know why you should you let sleeping dogs lie? Hmm?...I mean, you are so….cute and predictable , teeny. I just threw a bait of playing Mr.Secret Guy and you came running into my arms….( smiles )… how romantic.
Misha gets up and backs away from the good-looking bad news in front of her finally finding her nerves and her tongue….
Misha ( trying to sound brave )- You know everything, don't you? You know what nobody is supposed to know….You baited me into coming into your house! You are doing this to…( sees that he is advancing towards her )… to…….
The next moment, Misha is in his arms , tightened around her waist , her body flattened against his and his nose touching hers as he scares her with a focused cold look in his green pools.
Abheer ( naughtily touches her nose with his )- To send out a message that I …. ( smiles)… I have arrived . And what better way than sending it through you, white lamb. I can't touch Piya because my ex-girlfriend's spell protects her….( chins her up)…..T is a psycho vampire who is a loose cannon and I might just kill her before she irritates me. Pancchi is Daksh's pet pooch. Kabir is too confused to be played with. Maithli is busy trying to possess what is not hers…Zee is fun but one can't play enough with her..and I want to SURPRISE Sammy boy and Abhay…so, I thought about you…..( his finger drawing lines on her shoulder blades)….Beautiful. Vulnerable. Human…and Abhay's soul sister. ….Hey! You really have an amazing skin… soft, peachy …good. I wouldn't want to shred it with my gorgeous fangs…
Misha knows and she can feel that Abheer is feeling her up all over , taking physical liberty with her but she is shocked that she is unable to react or stop him. How the hell was that possible! Her mind is screaming at her to stop him but her heart is fluttering like a robin in rain! Misha! Get him off your body! You don't know what monster is feeling you up and what he might do to you!
Abheer smiles, shakes his head and releases her , stepping away from her and Mish finally finds her breath.
Abheer ( darkly )- You cannot stop me from doing anything to you, white lamb. Or from doing anything to anyone. But good for you, I am not a psychotic rapist , so CHILL….but…( rolls his eyes )… you don't know the future. I mean, we do have chemistry , right? See, how loud your heart is beating and all that sweat on your…..( shuts up)… never mind. Anyway , forgetting about the carnal pleasures in waiting.Let's get to the point.
Misha ( observing his jawline and standing posture )- I know….
Abheer ( looks at her )- Know what?
Misha ( alarmed )- I know you. Hell yes, I know you! ….the…the jawline….its ..( holds a chair for support )…Abhay's! You are…..ABHEER!
Abheer gives her a smug look and looks impressed.
Abheer ( grins)- At your service , madame….whoa! Recognized me by my jawline , eh? Seems you have checked out Abhay a lot to know his features so well. Beauty with brains.
Misha ( her temper rising )- Abheer...
Abheer ( rounding her up )- I like the way you take my name…. ( blows into her ear )….sounds HOT. Anyway , leaving these flirting sessions for the future , lets get to business, lamb.
Misha ( looking into his eyes )- I know your bloody business, Abheer! Abhay is your business, isn't it? You have come after him , for him! WHY?
Abheer ( blinks his eyes )- WOW! FEISTY, huh? …..you have no idea what's my business. Anyway, tell Abhay that am coming to see him. And he better be happy to see me after all these years.
Misha ( moving away from him )- IN YOUR DREAMS! Nobody will let you touch Abhay. You can't do anything to him.
Abheer ( seriously )- Oh ya? I like your confidence , Mish. Who will stop me? The other supernaturals? To quote you….IN YOUR DREAMS.
Misha ( gulps her fear)- Can I go now, Abheer? I can't be in this place and your presence. If you plan to kill me , do it now. Get your dogs or dig your fangs into me. And if you have no….( forgetting what she is saying as she looks into his eyes…*darn ! stop looking into his eyes, woman. His eyes are not normal. People can kill in the trance that he can give you*)….no…such intention , am going!
Abheer ( blocks her way)- Let me do the honours. After all, your Dad thinks am an honourable man and so do my employees….( takes her hand)… come on. Don't be so judgmental. I have done nothing to harm you. Have I ?
Misha( intimidated by him)- But….
Abheer doesn't listen to her and taking her hand leads her out of the room and then, the house. Misha is scared inside and she can feel it that Abheer is frigid evil- a smooth terminator of a villain. All sorts of ugly and scary thoughts are boggling her mind as she sees her hand in Abheer's gentle grip. Misha has a feeling of a lamb being prepared for a sacrifice. Oh no…… what was the world coming to and what were they going to do! Abheer seemed all set to devastate everything and she could just feel it.
As Misha walked by the farms towards the main gate, following Abheer , a foul smell of burning flesh hits her senses and almost makes her puke , making her stop in her tracks. She looks to where the smell is coming from. Abheer also stops and smiles evilly at Misha's shocked expression.
Two skinned animal bodies were hanging over a fire in a barbecue and a tall demon-ish looking man was cooking them. Misha's heart leaped as she saw the animals being cooked! And she instantly knew who they were. The Rottweiler hounds! She looks at Abheer in horror and he just shrugs his shoulders .
Abheer ( darkly)- In this property, only one beast gets to be untamed…..ME….(laughs )… and they will make a good meal for their …( points to the dogs behind the iron barricades)…..friends. Come along.
Misha is so shuddered at Abheer's smooth operation as an evil man that she can well imagine all the cruel and nasty things Abheer could have done to her
Abheer and Misha come towards her car and Abheer immediately leaves her hand.
Misha ( looks at him hatefully )- Its hard to believe that you are Abhay's blood.
Abheer ( nods )- Yeah, like it is hard to believe that you are still a virgin.
Misha ( stunned and going a flaming red in her cheeks )- Excuse me?
Abheer ( makes a sadistically mischievous face )- I mean, its hard to believe that you and Sam could resist each-other with that kind of heat between the two of you. Human – beings are supposed to be weak in their resolve , but you sure held through.
Misha ( drawing away from him )- You are not only evil, Abheer. You are pathologically sick. And even before knowing you, I understand why everyone hates you.
Abheer ( smiles at her )- Are you sure you hate me, lamb?
Misha ( narrows her eyes at him)- OF. COURSE.
Abheer smiles and coming closer , he bends over and kisses her on her neck , making her clench her fists and holding her breath. Abheer draws away and looks at her darkly…..
Abheer ( devilishly )- Now, go home and tell everyone , including Abhay that SATAN kissed you. Nothing is definite, lamb – not hatred for sure. And , you don't hate me.
Misha , without a word , gets into her car , turns the ignition on and within the batting of an eyelid, she is out of his sight. Abheer stands there , watching her go.
Abheer ( closing his eyes and smelling the wind )- Abhay. You have no idea how I am going to eliminate all the shields that protect you to get you….One-by-one…. All of them.
Just then, housemaid approaches him, cautiously , clearing her throat. Abheer opens his eyes and looks back.
Abheer ( calmly )- What?
Housemaid – Sir, the clothes of the lady have been washed and ironed. Where is she?
Abheer ( smiles )- On a break. She will be back in a short while….. ( to himself )….you don't get it, Misha. Do you? I get what I want . Always. After a long time , a toy has caught my fancy. You are just fated to run into my arms. Business is business but who minds a little fun on the side…
Boys' Locker Room, Mount College
Abhay has changed into a white cotton shirt and denims after the dance rehearsals. He is looking for some books in his locker , a serious grim expression on his face and his ice blue eyes looking troubled.
Flash : Abhay almost seducing Piya during the dance rehearsals and Piya's shock at his new face of Abhay.
Abhay ( shutting the locker and sitting down)- What was I doing to her in the rehearsals, man! I was …. I was CONSCIOUSLY seducing her. Seducing my girlfriend's niece! Isn't that gross??????...( runs a tired hand through his hair )… or maybe it isn't. Or maybe I have become so shamelessly fixated with that curly head that I have forgotten that am supposed to feel guilty.
Just then, the door of the locker room is thrown open and a furious Piya comes charging in , looking as red in anger as her bright red gypsy skirt.
Piya ( furious )- ABHAY RAICHAND! What do you think you were doing in the rehearsals? Are you out of your mind, you silly stupid thick headed vampire!
Abhay gets up and looks at Piya as he hears her rant. He shakes his head and leaning over the lockers , crosses his arms across his chest,
Abhay ( innocently )- What did I do, Piya? We were just dancing, right?
Piya ( irritated )- You… you…
Abhay ( smiling inwardly at her cute frustration even though he is not supposed to feel like that )- I am hot. And?
Piya feels flustered at Abhay's coolness and the mischief that is lurking in his gorgeous eyes. What do I tell you, Abhay! Of course, I love it when you look at me like that , feel for me, look out for me, get jealous at the sight of another man looking at me. Because that is you, Abhay. My Abhay. But I don't want it to happen this way…. Tearing you between your heart and mind. Come back to me…. But don't play these games. It just breaks my heart!
Piya ( firmly)- You need to keep a check on yourself , Abhay. You and I know what you were doing in the name of close dancing. That is not how a man's hands are supposed to work on a woman.
Abhay ( walks to her )- So, you noticed there was a change in the way I handled you?
Piya ( moving away from him)- Am a woman. Of course, I knew it. I-I could tell the change in the way you touched me and…. ( glares at him)… and stop looking at me like that. And… oh yes, as I was saying , we have been through this already, Abhay. At Maithli's house , at Raichand Mansion, in the infirmary!
Abhay ( cornering her to a wall )- EXACTLY! We have already been through this but YOU don't get it!
Piya ( clutching the corners of her skirt)- I don't get it? Excuse me? Its you who is .. who is… ( looking down )…. Who is getting all touchy and feely with me, okay?
Abhay ( beating an angry hand on the wall next to her )- And you are RESPONDING! There!...( clutching her by her shoulders )… there, I said it! I just tested you and you responded to me like an 'attracted' woman would. That is what I want to prove to you. You are not without feeling for me. You are attracted to me and you deliberately pick up fights with me, so that you can just talk to me. Am I right?
Piya is stung by Abhay's words and his physical proximity is not making things any easier for her. She was the love of his life , wasn't she? And , suddenly, to fight his own heart , he was blaming everything on her. Wasn't it the other way round? Abhay fought with her, argued with her , accused her , just so that he can talk to her, be close to her . It was becoming increasingly difficult to handle Abhay in this state without letting her heart out.
Piya ( raising her eyes to his face )- You think you are right? Fine. Whatever floats your boat. I just came here to remind you that the name of your girlfriend is Maithli. Touch, feel and kiss her. Spare me the horrors and … ( pushing him away)… and no, am not attracted to you. The man I love ….( stammers )….is the one I have eyes for.
Abhay ( not letting her go)- I don't think so, Piya Jaiswal. I don't know and I don't care who the man is who writes you those poetic letters , but from what I am seeing you have eyes for me only. Do you really think that am so foolish and blind that I don't read the way you look at me or when you trip and fall just because you are looking at me? ……the reason am behaving like this , screaming at you , almost roughing you up is because I want you to STOP doing this. Its driving me crazy and because of you, I no longer fear , I am SURE that am going to end up cheating on Maithli!
Piya ( looking here and there )- You are imagining things, Abhay. Its all in your head and who knows…. ( looking into her eyes )….its the other way round. You are the one with an attraction problem. Not me. Happens. I am the twin image of Maithli , so its natural for you to feel attracted to my… my face.
Abhay ( getting all intense )- NO! Its not about your face. Its about you! And even if I buy what you are saying , then, am not the only one with an attraction problem.
Piya ( unable to take his closeness anymore )- Get away, Abhay! I don't want to discuss this with you.
Abhay ( catching hold of her face )- But I want to discuss this with you. I want to know where the problem is! And why is it there if my love for Maithli is as epic as I believe it to be! From where did you come in between and I didn't even realize it!
Piya knows that she cannot fight Abhay or argue with him and argue about what? Wasn't his every word true? He was trying to dig the truth out of her without realizing it and if he held her like this any longer , kept on pressurizing her, she would end up telling him what had happened with him and that would ruin him. Get out of this space, Piya! You are supposed to protect Abhay and befriend him to save him from Maithli and the vampires , stop him from reaching or even realizing the existence of the ring . Remember you have a larger goal and stop getting into these passionate arguments with him. Its not his fault and don't forget it in your surge of emotions for him.
Piya ( calmly )- There is no end to this argument , Abhay. We will talk about this when you have cooled down. I should be going now.
Piya begins to leave but Abhay catches her wrist and stops her.
Abhay ( fiercely)- Answer me first. Do you have feelings for me?
Piya ( instantly )- No. You are just out of your mind.
Abhay- Not yet. But since am out of my mind, I can find it out in a minute how you feel about me.
Piya ( alarm bells ringing inside her )- No, you can't….
Abhay ( coming in front of her )- I can. And I will. I'd rather test you than trust your words!
Abhay pulls Piya back to him and holding her by the back of her head, drawing her closer to his breath , he presses his lips to hers. The familiar current running through her every cell , Piya closes her eyes, and putting her arm around him…..just lets go of all the restrain in her…
