Chapter Four

Days passed away. Nothing was changed. Her parents acted weirdly. But she couldn't give attention towards that as she she was totally engrossed to prepare herself for the scholarship. Today was Nupur's interview day for scholarship. She prepared herself very well because this interview was very important for her. She was wearing a white chudidaar . Her hair was open. She applied a little kajol on her eyes and lipgloss on her lips. She looked stunning.

She reached the place where the interview held. She asked the receptionist where the scholarship interview held. She told her that it was in third floor. Nupur thanked her and went for her interview. There was other candidate. She took a seat and was waiting for call. After half an hour she was called for the interview. There was three man in interview board. They asked Nupur some random question. Nupur replied those questions very confidently. They were very pleased with Nupur . They wished Nupur best of luck. After the interview Nupur was quite sure that she would get that scholarship. She went back her home with a cherish heart.

When she reached home she saw a woman talking with her mom. She never saw this woman before in her life. Her mom called her by her name''.

Radhika: Nupur''..

Nupur: Yes mom''..

Radhika: This is my friend Shilpa Oberoi''

Nupur: Namaste aunty'..

Shilpa: Hello beta''how are u?

Nupur: I'm fine aunty.

Radhika: Shilpa is my childhood friend. But after the marriage we never saw each other.

Shilpa: Today suddenly we met in a mall and your mom brought me home. So what are you doing beta?

Nupur: I'm doing fashion designing.

Shilpa: That's great. Beta you are looking very tired. I think you should go and take some rest.

Radhika: ha Nupur''shilpa thik keh rahi hey. Tum apne kamre me jao aur fresh ho jao.

Nupur: okay maa''bye aunty.

Nupur went her room and threw herself on the bed. Really it was a tiring day. After sometimes she went in a deep slumber. After sometimes Shilpa went and Radhika came to Nupur's room to check out that what she was doing. She discovered her in sleeping. She tried to wake her up for dinner but she couldn't wake up. It was really tough to wake up Nupur. Meanwhile the door bell rang and Radhika went to open it. It was Pratap.

Pratap: Nups kaha hey? It was unusual for him that Radhika opened the door because usually everyday Nupur did it.

Radhika: so rahi hey. Lagta hey aj jaida tired ho gayi'''kuch baat bani? She asked it with lots of hope in her eyes.

Pratap: Nehi'..aj bhi kuch nehi hua.

Radhika: koyi baat nehi''..ap chinta maat ki jiye sab thik ho jayegi. Apko pata hey aj mujhe mall mein kaun mili.

Pratap: kaun?

Radhika: Shilpa.

Pratap: Kaun Shilpa?

Radhika: meri bachpan ki seheli.

Pratap: oh.

Radhika: assa ap fresh ho jayie mein dinner lagati hoon.

They took their dinner with random talks. After the dinner the phone rang. Radhika picked up the phone. It was Shilpa. They talked for sometimes. Shilpa asked Radhika something. She answered that she would inform her after discussing with Pratap.

At the morning Nupur got up late because today was weekened. She freshened up herself and went for breakfast. She was really very hungry since she skipped her dinner last night. At the breakfast table Pratap and Radhika took their break fast. Nupur took her sit'

Pratap: Good morning Nups.

Nupur: Good morning papa'. Maa I'm too hungry. Radhika served her breakfast. Nupur ate it very quickly. Nupur finished her breakfast and went towards her room suddenly her father stopped her.

Pratap: Nups we want to talk to you.

Nupur: ya papa''.boliye.

Pratap: Nupur hum soch rahe the ki''. He hesitated. Radhika observed it and she decided that she told it to Nupur'.

Radhika: Nupur tumhare papa keh na chah te he ki'..

Nupur: kya maa'boliye na. itna hesitate kyun feel kar rahi hey.

Radhika: Nupur'.hum tumhara shadi karana chahte hey''

Nupur: WHAT?!?!?!

At the Oberoi mansion Mayank just arrived from Goa after spending a fantastic holiday. He took a shower and came downstairs. Shipla and Shubankar was sitting in the living room.

Mayank: hi mom..hi dad.

Shilpa: hi beta'.toh how was holiday?

Mayank: it was fantastic. We enjoyed so much.

Shubankar: beta hum tumse kuch baat karma chahte he.

Mayank: kya kahiye?

Shilpa: actually beta'..hum kehna chahte hey ki''

Shubankar: hum tumhara shadi karana chahte hey''.

Mayank: WHAT?!?!?!

Both of them were too shocked that sky broke down on their heads. Will they accept that sudden storm or try to get rid of this'''
