The next day was Shivratri pooja and Shaan was asked to go with the Gujrals. Khanak came down wearing a white lehenga(the one in the SR scene) with her hair open(her hair is usually in a pony tail) he walks down the stairs and Shaan is awestruck. Cant even move. Khank walks past him but does notice how good he looks in a kurta. She stands next to her father and they proceed towards the temple. After the pooja and aarti is done, Khanak goes to pray to the shivling. (where you put milk and water- if you dnt know dnt worry bout it) Shaan follows and someone pushes him and his hand touches khanak's and the milk gets poured over shivling( this is an indiactor of them being couple as only husband and wife do it together) Khank steps back astonished at what happened which Shaan doesn't realize. She decides to ignore it and goes near the bhang. Without realizing its bhang, she drinks it. Shaan follows her and sees her drinking.
Shaan: yeh kya peerahi hoon
Khanak: diktha nahi hai burthal, bhang bhang peerahi hoon, bhang, tumme uthna dum nahi ki tum peo
Shaan: yaar yeh kaise baat howa, lo- he grabs a glass and drinks it.
And they drink for a while and a song starts as Shaan starts to sing

Khanak started to dance towards the exit and soon she was gone. Shaan rushed to look for her and found her sitting on hay.: Jai jai shiv Shankar, khatta lage na khankad..she was screaming the song rather than singing it. Shaan knew she had had way too much

Khanak stands up and puts her nose up: nahin, nahin, nahin, nahin aur she stopped and asked for Shaan's ear -NAHIIIIINNN!
Shaan: acha bacha abhi batata hoon He picks her up and puts her in the car. She struggles at first but then looks at Shaan lovingly
Khanak: Shaaan! Shaan looks at Khanak surprised. It was the first time she had said his name and he felt his heart jump but then his face fell as khanak grabbed both of his cheeks and pulled it saying: Tum itne CUUTTTEE hoo!! Aur tumhara yeh chotta sa nak aur itne baaaddii baaddi ake aur tunhara Bandar jise kan. She laughed like a small kid.
Shaan stops the car. Acha tho main Bandar aur tum, tum kya ho pari? and it started to rain as if god was approving it. Khanak stepped out of the car and started to dance in the rain twirling. Her slim body teasing Shaan's intentions. (Oh btw guys white transparent. Hehehehe!)
Shaan: OHHH NOO!!
Shaan tried getting khanak but she just ran and finally getting her he put her in the car. And put the keys in the engine but it jst wouldn't start. They were stuck.
He saw a cottage and carried Khanak there .
Shaan: Hello, koi hain?It was empty. He put khanak down but khanak wasn't willing to let go, she was drifting off to sleep and was shivering. Shaan took off his jacket and put it on her. He then prepared a fire and stuffed hay together to make a bed for Khanak. He sat there staring at her. Her beauty jst drew him towards her as he slowly put his arms around her to check if she was cold. But she was fine and he went to sleep sitting beside her as the night drifted away.
Khanak woke up the next morning and looked at her surroundings. She remembered all of yesterday and her eyes widened as she saw Shaan next to her. She pushed him, making Shaan grab her waist and pull her down in his sleep. She was surprised with their close proximity. SHAAANNN
Shaan woke up to her eyes. It was the most beautiful morning for himIf only every morning was this beautiful. He then snapped out of it and left her.
Khanak got up and paced around: Ohh god papa kitne worried honge. Shaan please chalo and a sleepy shaan followed her and they started walking( no im not going to magically make the car work)finally reached the temple where all were sitting worried. They looked at the two as Khanak ran towards her dad and hugged him. He was soo happy to get his daughter back.
YG: chalo beti, ghar chalo.

YG: hum jante hai, hame tumpe bharosa hai aur sabse zayada aapni bethi par. He joined his hands to everyone: Namaste hum kal milthe hai, chalo Khanak, Shaan.
Person: aap aapni bethi ki glathi chupasakthe hai par hum is kalangani(I dnt know how to say it in English but the best word would be impure) ko is mandir main per bhi rakne nahi denge. Hum sanatini(religious) logo main sanskar jaisi bhi koi cheez hai jo aapne shayat apne bethi ko nahi diye. And everyone started chanting,: nahin aane dege! Khanak was crying, YG was disappointed with the people and Shaan. Well Shaan was furious. Furious would be an understatement. How dare they point a finger at Khanak. His khanak!
Shaan: BAS! Bas hogaya. He gives a fake laugh and claps. Wah! Kya duniya aagaya hai jahan ek ladki pe sab ungliya(fingers) uthathe jarehe. Khanak ne kuch galath nahi kiya aur na kabhi kar sakthi(khank looks up). Khanak jaise pavitra ladki aaj tak nahi dekhi maine. Uski sirf charitra(character) hi nahi, par man(heart) bhi pavitra hai. Ispe ungli udhane se pehle aap aapne ghar mein dhekle tu phethar(beneficial) honga. Kya aapki bethiyaan aab bhi salwar kameez pehenthi aur aapne badho ke samne kayide(manners) se rehthi hai. Acha yeh tho dur ki baat hai, kya aap ki bethiya aab bhi aap bhulthi hai yeh tum? Kahiye. Jawab dijiye? Pause and silence.Maine thik socha tha, sawal sab ke paas hai par jawab ek bhi nahi. Aur agar Khanak bhi ungli udh rahi hai tu kyun udh rahi. Yahi na ki mere aur Khanak ka kya rishta hai aur main inke ghar mein kyun rehrahaho. Hain na? aapka jawab mere paas hai. He walks inside the mandir and gets a handful of SINDOOR and FILLS KHANAK'S MAANG!!!!!(party party!!!! Woooohhh!!! Are yaaro zaara nacho tho, shadi hai aur hum baraat im sure hum shaan ke taraaf se hai aur uski chothe bhi churayege. Wat say? Aur shaan yeh muka kese chodtha, ladki bhi yahi thi aur mandir bhi- yeh tho free shadi hogaya!!lol)

Shaan is standing with his hands folded in front of YG.
YG: nahin beta aaj tumne phir mujhe bachaliya. Us bhar jaan bachayatha aur is bhar izzat, mujhe tumse acha damad nahin miltha and he hugs him.
Shaan: thinks to himself: haan aapko mujhse acha damaad nahin milta aapki bethi ki zindagi barbaad karne ke liye, aapko thodne ke liye. Aap rowege(cry) tho anso bhi aapka saath nahin denga, aise halath main choddege aapko.
YG : jao betha rest karo. Shaan obliged and walked to his room and went in the shower(blush)
Shaan thinking: yeh maine kya kardiya. Par jo hi howa thik howa, Khanak mere pyaar ke jaal main phas bhi nahin rahithi aur mere paas waqt nahin tha. Par is thara mujhe uski zindagi ke saath. Nai Shaan! jo howa uske pita ke wajarse howa aur shayat uperwala bhi yahi chahtha tha.
He got out of the shower and decided to go meet Khanak. Khanak was still standing in front of the mirror with sindoor over her forehead and dried tears over her cheeks. She was clearly in shock

Shaan: Khanak sab thik hojayega
Khanak: Nahin thik hoga Shaan(crying) Kaise thik hoga. Na tum mujhse pyaar karte ho na main tumse toh zindagi bhar ke yeh rishta, Kaise? KAISE SHAAN?
Shaan slowly closed in on Khanak and khanak started hitting him with her fists and finally gave in as Shaan pulled her in for a hug. They both felt at ease, complete.
Khanak cried for long time as the sad version of RBO title went on. And shaan patiently held her, hurting inside. Isn't this what he wanted. YG came to check on Khanak and smiled as he saw them together. His first promise to his dead wife was fulfilled. Khanak had found her love.
Next morning Shaan had to leave, he wanted to stay with Khanak, he was pinning yet went to take YG blessings and Yg hugged him and wished him a safe flight when they heard a thud. Both looked up to find Khanak in a light pink creamish saree with hands full of chudiyan, hair open and pined with her mang with sindoor holding a suitcase. She came down and hugged her father. YG understood. He was proud of her daughter and somewhere Shaan felt at ease but now was dreading going home and facing his family. She looked at him as if asking him if he would take her, if he would accept her, if he would do this favour on her. Shaan patiently moved towards her and took her suitcase." Main gadi main rakh detha hoon" Her eyes filled up with tears and relief. Shaan knew she was going with him for her father and his respect in society. After crying hugging her father, she sat in the car waving until she couldn't see him anymore. They got to the airport and while waiting he sat next to her.
Shaan: Khanak hum dono jante hai ki hame pyaar nahin hai par dosti zaroor hosakthi hai, hai na.
Khanak simply nodded.
