Hello All, I am ready with my part 31. I hope you will enjoy and I tried to have less painful moments in this part. Those who had asked me about my vacation, I had a wonderful vacation with my friends. And you know it is always fun to hang out with friends. I am working on one short story as well. Part 31

Geet was distressed by Maan's behavior, she couldn't feel asleep. Instead of thinking about her future wedding, the happiest moment of her life, she was thinking about Maan. His each action was weird today. Maan never liked to dance and Maan never misbehaved with her. Her senses suddenly went back to her childhood days where she had some feelings for Maan but it had been so long that she had forgotten everything by this time, but his sudden change in behavior had awakened those senses which were buried somewhere in her heart a long time ago.

"Babaji (God), I can't understand anything, today his eyes were telling me something, his intense look was killing my each nerve, I felt like he wanted to ask something, something which he tried to hide, something which he had buried inside his heart, his aggressive eyes were mysterious, there were a lot of questions in it, and a lot of answers, but I don't know what kind of questions he had, does he like me or does he fall in love with me, but he rejected me at first place, so now it doesn't make any sense to me."Geet said.

"Babaji (God), I can never forget my mom's advice, it is important to have respect for each other in husband wife relationship, but Maan disrespected me by denying me at first place, and Sameer had always been on my side, today I can see dreams because of Sameer otherwise I had lost faith in dreams a long ago. So even if Maan loves me, he has to understand that I could only belong to Sameer (Geet sirf Sameer ki hi ho sakti hai). Did I say something wrong Babaji (God)?"Geet said.

When she woke up in the morning, her cell phone was ringing but it was an unknown number. She picked up a phone but nobody spoke and she hung up. It happened twice and she got annoyed by this.

By lunch time, she completely forgot about this unknown caller, she had a lunch date with Sameer.

Sameer had reserved a table at a very nice restaurant on the beach side. Beach looked amazing with the bright sunlight reflecting on the water. Warm crushed black glass sand, darker at the water's edge. Volcanic rock spiked from the water, a sea turtle basking on the hot sand and more grazing on the algae growing on the rocks. The water was crystal clear, turquoise where it was shallow royal blue in the deep. Fishermen cast their nets hoping to bring home a delicious catch for dinner. The air was scented by coffee being roasted in the coffee plantation. Sun was playing hide & seek with water, water was wrapped under the rainbow blanket.

Both were staring at each other and lost in eyes, Geet still couldn't get over the brilliant image of Sameer, his handsome look was irresistible, and his smile to die for.

Sameer couldn't take off his eyes from her fairy face. He couldn't believe that he could watch her angel face forever now. Her childlike innocence made him laugh all the time. Her hazel eyes looked sometimes like rose and sometimes like sunflowers. Her hair was as smooth as rose petals. If roses would watch her beauty then they would wilt in a second out of jealousy. He could watch her beauty all day and night.

Finally both awakened from their romantic moments.

"Geet, we should order some food otherwise this rosy cheeks will get shrunk."Sameer said with smile.

"Sameer, don't make fun of me and let's order food otherwise you have to cook for me for the rest of life."Geet said with coy smile.

Finally food was on the table and both started cherishing food.

After having food, both started walking down the beach with hand in hand. It was the most amazing feeling Geet felt. She felt warmth and security in his hands. She wanted to forget the entire world right there and she wanted time to freeze. She couldn't control her smile dreaming about her future with Sameer. Sameer noticed her smile and rosy cheeks.

"Geet, why are you smiling?"Sameer asked.

"Nothing"Geet said.

"Geet, I will tell you good news if you tell me the reason behind your smile."Sameer asked while teasing her.

Geet felt defeated and she decided to tell him.

"Sameer, I can't win against you ever, so I have to tell you now."Geet said.

"Geet, you have won my heart, you are my true north, what else I could want and of course I don't want to force you if you don't want to tell the reason."Sameer said gently.

"Sameer, I was thinking about my future with you, you have changed my life and now I have started seeing dreams again because of you."Geet said with a deep voice.

"Geet, you have changed my life, you have shown me the life which I never knew existed. Well now is my turn to share good news, Geet, tomorrow evening is our Mehndi ceremony at my house, sorry our house now."Sameer said excitedly.

Geet smiled.

Sameer continued, "Geet, everyone will get invitation by the end of today."

Geet knew that Maan would be there too, she thought to tell Sameer about Maan's strange behavior but then she decided not to mention it. She wanted to leave her past behind and wanted to enjoy the upcoming happy moments. Her eyes were filled with tears when past memories of her home flashed in front of her. She couldn't forget her family ever even though they gave a lot of pain to her. Tears moved on her cheeks like a drop of water moved on a leaf. Her twinkling eyes looked perfectly angelic today. Her dream was soon going to be true. Her knight in shining armor was with her. She needed to pinch herself to make sure that all these were real.

Mehndi preparation was started at Sameer's house with full spirit.

Maan received Mehndi invitation and this time he wasn't contemplating but he knew that he was going, he wanted to go, no matter what happened with him, but now he didn't want to miss a single chance to meet Geet. He wanted to bundle all the memories of her as much as he could. He knew that he couldn't fall in love again and he might not marry to anyone else in his lifetime because he had already been married to her image.

Hello I have a question to readers, I know that some could be unhappy with Geet's decision to stick with Sameer but tell me one thing, what would you do if you are at her position?????
