Part 29

"Maan, you forgot again, you should definitely visit Doctor. You need to rest."Aman said.

"Aman, don't play with me, I know I haven't invited you, and you entered in my house without my permission."Maan said angrily.

"Maan, calmed down, I just want to tell you that I am on your side, don't be angry at me, I can help you solve your problems, trust me once, and you will see."Aman said.

"Aman, Maan Singh Khurana doesn't need anybody's help, I can solve my all problems, so no need to visit me again."Maan said with firm voice.

"Maan, I am impressed by your firmness, but you need me hence I am here, first you invite me and then you say that you don't need me, it is unfair, and you want Geet'''."Aman said but interrupted by Maan.

"Aman, stop right there, I don't want to hear Geet's name from your mouth, I just don't, it is pious name which doesn't suit in your mouth and how many times I need to tell you that what matters to me is Geet's happiness and she is happy with Sameer then I am also happy, love is not about making her yours but it is about caring about her happiness and if it requires sacrifice then so be it."Maan said.

Looking at angry and impatient Maan, Aman left peacefully.

Maan sat down on his bed while thinking about his entire day and he realized that how antagonized he was today.

He lay down on his bed while staring at ceiling. He tried to sleep but he couldn't. He remembered how beautiful Geet was looking during her engagement party and he couldn't let go of that image. That image was harassing him during his day, night like a burning fire in his heart.

He remembered the day when he was working on presentation with Geet and they got so close that they could feel each other's breath, scent, smell, warmth and Maan was still lost in her reminiscence. He couldn't forget her warm touch, the sensation he felt when she got so close.

"Geet, stop right here."Sameer said.

Geet was bewildered by Sameer's reluctance.

Sameer sensed it.

"Arrey, Geet, don't worry, I want my queen to enter in to this house for the first time with all the rituals."Sameer said with laugh.

Geet smiled softly while looking at him.

Finally three servants were there. One servant was holding a plate full of kumkum and water, another one was holding pooja plate, and third one was holding a plate full of lit candles.

Finally Sameer's dad took all the plates one by one and did pooja of her formally and finally she was asked to put her feet in kumkum plate and put a first step with it.

Geet was touched by all the preparation. She entered the house with smile.

She was astonished by the decoration of the house; it was completely decorated like a wedding house.

Geet rolled her eyes from decoration to Sameer and Sameer to decoration. Few tears touched her cheeks and Sameer wiped her tears with his fingers. They both looked at each other's eyes and got lost. Geet never felt so special before, she never knew that somebody could love her so much. She was surprised by the fact that she could mean a lot to someone.

Sameer took her to the temple of his house.

Geet and Sameer prayed to God.

"Babaji (God), I want Sameer as my husband for coming all reincarnation and my happiness lays in his happiness, I can't see him sad, and I could do anything to make him happy."Geet wished silently.

"God, my happiness lays in Geet's happiness, I can't see her sad so please keep her happy, I could do anything to make her happy, please give me enough strength to keep her happy always."Sameer wished silently.

Dinner was ready. Geet, Sameer and Sameer's dad were sitting on the dining table.

There were so many servants who were serving food; there were more than thirty dishes ' with all kinds of cuisine. Geet felt full just by looking at the number of dishes. It was unbelievable; she never dreamt anything like this.

They started talking while Sameer was touching her feet with his feet and playing with it, Geet was pushing his feet away out of shyness. During entire dinner time, both were fighting through their feet continuously. Both had a lot of fun.

Finally Panditji was there to fix their wedding date. Both were still teasing each other with their mischievous eyes. Pandit said "There is a perfect date for wedding for both of them which is after a week."

Sameer's dad said "Panditji, that is too close and we need enough time for preparation as he is my only son."

Sameer was already on cloud nine by hearing Pandit's words.

Panditji said "I can understand that, but this is the best date you can ever get and after this date, you have to wait for 6 months."

Sameer's dad said "Ok, we will make all arrangements and we are ready to have our Bahu (daughter in law) in a week."

Sameer's happiness was unbelievable; he wanted to kiss Panditji's feet right away.

Geet felt shy and she ran inside the room. Sameer followed her and said "So Geet, soon you are going to be Mrs Sameer Garewal. Are you happy with this?"

Geet couldn't speak a word but she nodded in agreement. They both talked for a while.

Then Sameer dropped her at her house.

Geet was totally startled by the person sitting in her living room. She couldn't recognize the face as the room was dark.

Geet turned on the lights and she saw Maan sitting on the couch.

"Maan, you petrified me, you should have turned on the lights, why were you sitting in the dark?"Geet asked.

"Pinkey opened the door and she told me that you weren't there but I insisted on waiting for you so she went into her room and I thought I could just rest in the dark till you show up."Maan said.

"No problem Maan, what brings you here at this time?"Geet asked casually.

Maan was thinking in his mind "You brought me here" but he knew that he couldn't say it.

Geet was looking like a bride; her red dress with golden border was amazing. Maan wanted to snatch away her from the entire world and wanted to build his own world with Geet if he could.

"Geet, I haven't seen you in a class today so I thought to drop by and give you some notes and want to ask you if you need some help."Maan said.

"Oh Maan, so sweet of you, you are so considerate, thanks a lot, it would be helpful."Geet said cheerfully.

"No problem Geet, after all, we are classmates; we are supposed to help each other."Maan said while hiding his excitement as Geet was in front of him.

Geet smiled.

Maan was hesitant but he wanted to ask something to Geet.

"Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeettttttttt."Maan stammered.

"Maan, why are you stammering?"Geet asked.

Maan settled down and cleared his throat.

"Geet, I want to ask you something."Maan asked with deep voice.

"Sure, Maan."Geet said.
