Part 8

Third question was thrown at her.

"Geet, why do you think that you could be a good fit for this job?"Sameer asked.

"Si……………..r, I really need this job. I am hardworking and ethical; I would prove myself once you give me this opportunity to work for you."Geet finally replied with confidence.

Interview went on and finally Jay says.

"Geet, you are not qualified for this job and we have many candidates who are over qualified for this job, so I am afraid that you may not get this position but we will let you know our final answer soon."

After a day, she got rejection from Asian paints even though Shasha tried hard for her.

Asian paints have appointed a new secretary who is well qualified and experienced for the job.

Geet was disappointed but she didn't lose the hope. She applied to many other jobs and she appeared for other interviews.

After three days, the new appointed secretary didn't show up at Asian Paints, and she left a letter that I can't do this job as I have to suddenly move to the different city. Projects and presentations were pending and Asian Paints had an urgent need of a secretary hence Shasha suggested Geet as a new secretary and nobody had any choice rather than accepting her.

Shasha called to Geet and informed her about what happened.

Within an hour, Geet was at the Asian Paints office.

Shasha helped her to get familiarize with Asian Paints file cabinets and various projects. Geet has started working diligently on her projects.

Within a week, Geet became completely familiar with Asian Paints. Shasha and Geet go to office together and many times Geet used to come home very late because of a lot of work.

During the weekend, Geet, Shasha and Pinkey went for shopping. Shasha and Pinkey always wear jeans and tops hence they were looking for the new jeans and tops. Geet has never tried Jeans and tops before. Shasha was trying to convince Geet for trying jeans and tops at least once.

After few efforts, Geet got convinced and she put on white top with red flowery design and blue jeans. She was looking stunning as she never looked before. Her figure looked perfect in the figure hugging jeans and skin fitting top. Geet came out from a trial room, trying to cover herself with her hands. Shasha and Pinkey were laughing at her as Geet was feeling shy in jeans and top.

Geet denied buying jeans and top but Shasha and Pinkey bought for her and they gave her as a gift for a new job. After shopping, all three had dinner at Italian restaurant where Geet has tried pasta for the first time and she enjoyed it. She liked it to so much that she was motivated to make it herself.

Geet was entering into a new world of freedom where she can make her own decisions. For the first time, she realized how it feels – the life without any boundaries and restrictions where you can fulfill your dreams.

She decided to pursue her study as well. Of course she can't leave her job hence she has decided to do weekend courses in business field.

Geet has finished a project with Shasha and now a new project is going to be with Sameer.

From the last project, Sameer was really impressed by Geet's work.

Sameer is a handsome and intelligent guy. In a very short amount of time, he has built his own empire. He has joined Asian Paints when Asian Paints was nothing. Jay and Sameer both have worked hard for Asian Paints and today Asian Paints is making a lot of profit.

Geet is doing well for herself and she has high ambitions for her.

Today is her first day at college. She has taken three courses for this semester as for Weekend College they offer only 3 courses per semester.
