Nikki looks bewilderment from Arjun to Armaan and than back to him and whisper in his ear "Well if that his condition than I am ready but I don't have money to pay him". Arjun smilingly replied "You don't worry about it when Dr. Modi is there to look after you even from jail". Armaan and Ridhimma get amused to hear that and Nikki smiles on this and agrees. Arjun exhaled in relief "I have to struggle more to get permission as defense lawyer before this case it actually starts" and bid his goodbye to her in order to take sign of Modi on his paper as soon as possible. Nikki looks toward Armaan and Ridhimma "I hope now you don't have any problem of me going out alone. After all I have now these two boys also along with other two stupid and stubborn one. She smiles and also leaves from there with her bodyguards.

Arjun reached jail to meet Abhimanyu, Abhi brought in the room to meet Arjun who's waiting there for him. Abhi ask him without taking his seat "Did Nikki agrees?" and Arjun answer while placing the paper in front of him to sign "Yes she is. Now it is your time to fulfill what you said". Abhi ask "Can I have your mobile?" Arjun confusingly says "yeah sure" and handed his mobile. Abhi takes few step away from him, dial the number on mobile and heard "Arjun Did Abhimanyu sign the paper?" to which he replied "No, not yet". Nikki heard Abhi voice on his mobile "Abhi, you. Why didn't you sign the paper?" but Abhi ignore her question "Why are you doing this? I told you not to'" Nikki interrupts "I have not broken any of your promise, u get it. You want me to not tell anyone about my involvement in this and nor you want me to come in jail to meet you. So I am doing as per your wish but you can't stop me to find the real culprit".

Before Abhi can open his mouth to say something Nikki said "One more thing if you don't sign the paper than I'll send your bodyguards back to you and after that what happens to me it's your call. Think and decide". With that she cuts the phone, Abhi gets startled with her reaction and Arjun called from behind "If you had your talk with Nikita than we can sign the paper". Abhi turns, find his amuse look and sign the paper quietly. Abhi thoughts all are behaving very smartly with him, Nikki now making him fool around her to do things as per her wish. Arjun collects his paper and ask "Is there any thing you want to tell me regarding this case which you haven't told to inspector" but Abhi nodes his head in negative. Arjun bid his goodbye "Ok than see you in court tomorrow. Bye".

After cutting the phone Nikki thoughts "I regretted that times a lot to not support you when you actually needed it but not this time. I am not like Jiah". Nikki remembered all the words that Jiah told her in park and suddenly snaps out from her thoughts to go somewhere.

Next day (in court)

All Nikki's friends Armaan, Ridhimma, Rahul, Muskaan, Anajli, Atul and including Sid reached the court except Nikki, Arjun also takes his position in the court as defense lawyer. Abhi's bring to the court in police van, he enters there and found everyone there except Nikki, he roam his eyes everywhere but still didn't get glimpse of her. Arjun calls all the witness of the incident and question them about it, all didn't say any words against them but confirmed that he is the only one attending that patient. Arjun ask the witness that if there any other also available with him to which Abhi reluctantly answer "There is no one with me in the cabin of the patient". Arjun roll his eyes and whisper to him "You are on my side or other one. When I am asking question to the witness why the hell you are giving answers". The opposite lawyer questions Abhi "Why he was attending the patient when he stop treating the people that to of the different department patient".

At this Abhi keep mum, opposite side lawyer told the court "Shekahar talpade dead because of high power dose of injection". The inspector who caught Abhi also appeared in the court and whispers something in Arjun's ear. Arjun told to judge "He wants to ask some question to the investigating officer who can throw different light on this case". Arjun ask inspector "Tell me what you found when you reached the crime spot" to which he answer "I found all the witness and proof against Dr. Abhimanyu Modi but it weird that he didn't try to run and easily surrender himself to us. Actually he is trying to save his colleagues and junior Dr. Nikita Malhotra who was also a doctor of Shekhar Talpade". This sentence creates havoc in the court, all Nikki's friends including Sid and his lawyer Arjun got shocked to hear that. This line of inspector drains the color from Abhi's face and he fumbles "Dr. Nikita is innocent, she has nothing to do with it. She didn't have any involvment in it..." Inspector agrees "Yes Dr. Modi is right, she is innocent. This is true that night Dr. Nikita was with him in attending that patient but she is not criminal inspite of the fact that Abhimanyu takes her blame on him. The person behind all this happening is none other than Dr. Abhimanyu's wife Jiah Modi".

Abhi and all other sitting in the court get shocked to hear that as well. Arjun asks "How would you know about it?" than inspector start telling what happen from last evening.

Flashback

Dr. Nikita Malhotra and Adv. Arjun Saraswat came to police station in the evening and Dr. Nikita asked "Inspector I want your help to find the real culprit behind Shekhar Talpade's murder case". Inspector smiles, ignore to answer and asked "I don't get it one thing why are you doing so much for Dr. Abhimanyu Modi? What is your relation with him?" Nikki avoid his question "Tell me please will you help us out in solving this case or not". Inspector agrees "Sure. You have a doubt on somebody". Nikki answer "Yes, actually I follow the Hariharan who is incharge of medical store room from where all the medicines provides to the Sanjeevani's patient. It strange that he had purchased new car which wouldn't come in his salary for sure. I am sure he knows something about this case because only he has permission to go inside medicine store room and give it to any nurse bases on doctor's signature slip". Inspector agreed and went with them to catch him for interrogation.

(Arjun left from there as he has to prepare himself with all the paper and witness list who will present in the front of court.)

Inspector caught the Hariharan and interrogates him whole night who reveals that someone has given him money to change the medicine inside the bottle which was asked to bring for Shekhar Talpade. He doesn't know that person who has given him the money as she always in burkha. But he only know one thing about her as she is leaving from India tomorrow morning by 7:00 clock, he can only recognize her voice that all. Inspector and Dr. Nikita went to the airport in the morning with the Hariharan to catch her also. We kept Hariharan in the burkha this time to recognize that voice as we all checking the passenger list than Dr. Nikita noticed Jiah there and asked her "Where is she going? Today is Abhimanyu first court hearing". Jiah start gave excuses as she had some very important legal work at New York to complete and she came back as soon as possible. Hariharan who was in burkha recognized her voice, he remove the burkha from his face and scream that she is the one who gives him the money.

Jiah got startled to watch him there, start running toward exit gate but ladies police caught him in between. Nikki knew this as when she recalls all the words which Jiah said to her in the park. She get a doubt how Jiah knew that Abhi takes her blame when there is no one around them at that night. Nikki asked her angrily "Why you did this Jiah? Why? That to with Abhi". Jiah answer while struggling with ladies police "I didn't want to hurt him but you ofcourse. I can't see you happy by destroying mine. I thought when you got engaged with Sid than I get my Abhi back but no. I understand that whether you being with him or not he'll never be mine. If I can't get my happiness than I'll not let you be happy as well. So I planned to trap you and make your life hell as you made mine". The police put her inside police van and takes her to police station for investigation.

Nikki also followed them also and present there at the time of her interrogation. Inspector asked her "What was your exact plan?" Jiah revealed after long time "The day Nikki was going to engaged with Sid, I went to Abhi but he shrugged me off from him. I was so annoyed with Nikki that I wanted to teach her a lesson. When I was passing from reception I heard that nurse called Nikki on phone and asked her about medicine which Shekhar Talpade needs. Nikki told her the medicine name but suggest that she will give that injection by herself to him as it is only doctor prescribe drug. I got the plan right there to trap her, as being a medical student I also had some knowledge about medicines. So I contacted Hariharan and bribe him to change the liquid of one bottle medicine which Nikki prescribed and told him whenever any one want this medicine for Shekhar Talpade than provide this bottle to him. He had no idea which liquid I provide him to pour on that bottle. I had given high power dose of same medicine to him and he done same as I wanted. I called her as a nurse of Shekhar Talpade, told her that he is unwell and need the injection that she prescribed. I saw her leaving from her house in the car for Sanjeevani. I planned all this at night so none of her friends and Abhi can help her in that but unfortunate I had no idea from where Abhi comes in a picture. He drunk at that night so I thought that he'll not be around but'"

Flashback ends

Jiah brought to the court as handcuff with ladies police and all looks at her as loathing. Arjun thanks Inspector for bring the reality to the court and Arjun states "Now all the truth comes out in front of the court. Dr. Abhimanyu Modi is innocent, so I request to court to free him from all the charges". Judge free Abhimanyu and Nikki from all charges and order to send Hariharan and Jiah to jail for the lifetime. Abhimanyu thanks Arjun for his help and leave from there to complete the formalities of discharging from all charges. Arjun immediately called Nikki to told her court judgment "Hello, Dr. Nikita everything is happen as you wish. Dr. Modi is free now from all the charges. Congratulation". Nikki happily and cheerfuly answered "Congratulation to you as well. It didn't happen without your help, thanks for everything. By the way you forget your briefcase here". Arjun smilingly replied "I haven't not forget it, it's your open it". Nikki opens it, finds it full of money and heard his voice "It's your extra money which you paid me for this case. I had my fees with me so I am returning extra ones that all. I am money oriented but not that much what you all think. I just want to request to god that he will never bring you to me as I am not able to handle crazy people like you. Bye". Nikki laughs on his comment "Bye. Thanks once again" and cut the phone.

Abhi comes out from the court and find Jiah there who notices him also coming out. She called him and begging in front of all who ever present there "Abhi, please save me. I know you are angry with me because I am the cause of your shoulder injury and your career failure. But I am your wife, I never want to harm you anyway. I know I did very wrongs things to you but you know how I am from beginning. Please save me, I'll do whatever you say". Abhi smiles and say "You know Jiah, I am really proud of Nikki for what she did. She had done which even I wasn't able to do that is punish you for your sins. Have nice time in jail". All Nikki's friends and Sid also there shocked and starled to hear the Jiah comments on how she is responsible of Abhimanyu accident and career disaster.

Inspector meets Abhimanyu "Congratulation Dr. Modi, from beginning I know there is something wired in that case. Our intution is never wrong but always remember one thing never hide anything from police". Abhimanyu smiles "Thanks for your help inspector" and shakes his hand with him. Inspector told his constable Pandey after Abhi left "Pandey, Love can screw anyone mind whether he is doctor in himself. There is no treatment and medicine of this disease, who fall in this will never get cured" and left while laughing a loud with his constable.

All Nikki's friends surround him to congratulate and apologies for their behavior. Atul hesitatingly said "I am sorry Dr. Modi, we consider you wrong and bad person". Abhi smilingly replied "Tell me something new Dr. Atul that I don't know". Anjali replied this time "We always thought that you want to use Nikki for your personal reason". Abhi answered calmly "I know that I am not good in the eyes of people and expressing feelings but I am also a human being who has right to love and being loved". Muskaan asked "Yes actually your image is not that good in front of us" and Rahul elbowed her, shoot his eyes toward her. Rahul apologies on her behalf but Abhi replied smilingly "Even I had the same for you all. So its one on one". All burst out in laughing with him but Armaan is not there with the gang. Ridhimma gives her warm smile to him and congratulate him "I am happy that your innocence is prove in front of all. Finally all Nikki's effort is work out, I wish both you happy life ahead". All bid goodbye to him and left from there.

When the gang talking to Abhi, In the meanwhile Sid called Nikki "Nikki, your right and I am wrong in judging Abhimanyu. You proved all that your love is not wrong for him and even he also loves you a lot because person sacrifice his life to only the one whom he truly loves. You should come here to watch him free after all it happens because your effort which you put to free him. His eyes are also searching you in this crowd". Nikki teary replied "I also want to come but Abhi swear not let me to meet him. So I'll not meet until he called me by himself". Sid replied "Ok as you wish. Bye take care" and Nikki also replied "bye" and cut the phone. No one can understand Nikki's enthusiasm to hear the news that Abhi is released from jail, her urges to run to him and hug him tightly. She desperately wants to be there and part of this but Abhi swear stopping her legs to go there. She always obey his each swear and kept his secret deep down in her heart inspite of the fact how close she is with Armaan and Ridhimma. She never told anyone about his past and accident to anyone as its something very personnel to Abhi which she doesn't want anyone to make a part of it. She is waiting for Abhi to call or come here to meet her, something for which She never waited so desperately in life.

Sid comes to meet Abhi this time "Congratulation Dr. Modi" but Abhi gets nervous and uncomfortable with his presence "Thanks Sid". Sid aware of his uneasiness and explain everything which happen behind him as how Nikki broken with him, resign from Sanjeevani, sold her car and house to pay the bills of Lawyer, attack by the people, her arguments with board member, searching home for rent but no ones is ready to give her, her argument with Armaan and how she even put her reputation on stack for him. Abhi gets emotional to hear that and Sid said "I always admire you Dr. Modi for your work, dedication and style but today I am jealous of you. What ever you achieved in your life I can also achieve in life but you have one thing which I never achieve that is Nikki's love".

Sid gets emotional to told this but Abhi put one hand on his shoulder "Sid, you admire me from my work but I already lost it. I don't have anything for which you can admire me now but you can become inspiration to many people who want to achieve in this field. I can give you one advice only with my experience, when that accident happens with me which ruined my career, I blamed god for it and hate him. But today I thanked him for that if it didn't happen than I never came India and met Nikki here. That god planned everything for us in advance but we people don't understand it. I learned one thing you don't get everything in your life as you want". Sid agrees, hugs him and Abhi return his hug as well. Sid informed him "Nikki is at Armaan and Ridhimma home and she is waiting for you desperately" and Abhi thanks him with his eyes.

Abhi surprise with his own act that how easily he talk about his accident to Sid which never happen before. He doesn't feel fear, insecurity and uneasiness to talk about that incident which felt uncomfortable to talk about before. Abhi finds that he overcomes now from his accident pain that to becasue of Nikki. She definitely did wonders to his life, sharing his pain with her make him to deal it easily. Abhi called Nikki from PCO as his mobile is off due to being kept under police custody
