After both were breathless-
Maan and Geet looked at each other with a look that would have melted the hardest stone...it was liquid love- that beautiful emotion that moves the world...
Maan caressed her face with his eyes while holding both her hands in his and kissed them without breaking eye-contact.
Geet- Maan..don't look at me like that..mujhe sharam aati hai
Maan- Geet...tumhe yaad hai tumne kal kya kiya tha mere saath?
Geet-😳 woh main...
MAan's eyes flew to her lips and she fell silent...
He had discovered a new way to say his signature "chup,bilkul chup"
It only involved looking at her lips and she'd fall silent..😆
She looked down instead and started playing with her dupatta
Geet- Maan...I think you should call Vicky and tell him what happened
Maan- hmmm..
So he called Vicky and told him everything that had happened..
Vicky was in a bind...should he tell Rajji about Daarji's death?😕
Would she get sad?
HE decided telling her the truth was the best policy so he went to her and told her about daarji,about Brij, about Maan and Geet and about the school
Rajji was crying by the time he finished..and was inconsolable..she was missing Hoshiyarpur and wanted to go back..
She fell to the floor as if her knees gave away and couldn't support her any longer and cried for the lost home she had ran away from...
Rajji- oh God...now it's too late..now I can't go back...what am I going to do?

I don't want to stay here..I'm all alone..koi nahi hai mere paas...
Vicky watched her cry helplessly...looking like an angel that had broken it's wing..
He just couldn't see her cry..so he bent down next to her and gave her his shoulder to lean on
IT filled him with warmth and gave her a sense of security..she clung tighter to the source till the tears abated and then held on quietly to him..feeling disturbed at one level and yet at peace at another
He felt her breathing deepen..she felt calmer now,he thought
Vicky- Rajji?
HE said it softly and yet it echoed deep inside him and her..
Rajji- hmmm
Vicky- kabhi mat kehna ki tum akeli ho...understand?
Rajji felt a tear slide and wet Vicky's t-shirt
She got up from his shoulder...
Rajji- I'm sorry..I just...
Vicky- no. You listen to me now. Aaj ke baad kabhi mat kehna ki tum akeli ho. Main hoon tumhare saath..hamesha...thik hai?
Don't you dare even talk of leaving me alone.
she gave a teary smile as he hugged her...never to let go again.
Geet- Maan
Geet- Maan...suniye..
Maan- hmmm
Geet- aap kuchh soch rahe hain?
Maan- tum paas ho..main kya sochunga?
Geet- maan...aapne jo kal raat maa ko bola tha...hum kahin jaa rahe hain kya?
Maan- nahi Geet..aise hi kaha tha..
Geet- achha...thik hai..par kyun?
Maan- taaki tum saath chalo..
Then he got a call and he answered before Adi could speak
Maan- haan Adi..Main aur Geet aa rahe hain..raaste mein hain. hum theek hain..
Adi- huhuhuhuh..woh sir..main woh..kya karu?
Maan- kiska?
adi- uhh woh sir jo important meeting thi?
MAan- ohh...haan adi...thodi din baad ki meeting arrange karwa do..
Adi- yes sir..I understood. okay sir. bye
Maan- bye
Geet- kaunsi meeting? with whom?
Maan- Geet..I was thinking..why not meet some clients for the next few days..so that you can be exposed to latest ideas for efficient construction and designing?
Geet- hmm...good idea..Okay..Aap har meeting mein mere saath honge kya?
Maan-Toh?😡koi problem hai tumhe?
Geet- nahi..bas woh...
Maan- Geet..I will stay with you..samjhi..
She suddenly leaned over and kissed him on the cheek
Maan- yeh kisliye?
Geet- because you're my shona and I love you so very much
Maan didn't say anything..merely smiled a little..
Geet as usual was asleep by the time they reached home and Maan picked her up and took her to their room...
And then ordered dinner
Then he called Adi and asked him if it was done..and where was he at this moment..
Adi- ji sir..kaam ho gaya hai....woh sir..main woh..bahar tha...
MAan heard a giggle behind Adi...pinky's
Maan- Oh...Achha...baahar the..thik hai Adi..hum kal office mein milte hain..you enjoy..
Aur haan..pinky ko mera hi zaroor bolna
Adi blushed and said bye
Maan got the food and on a tray took it up to Geet..who had changed and was wearing a bathrobe
Maan entered and she realized a sudden change in mood...
Somehow..she was feeling quite tired and told him
Geet- Maan bhook nahi hai
Maan- bhook toh tab lagegi na jab tum khana chhodogi..nevertheless..have thoda sa and then I promise you can go to sleep..
Geet made a baby face..
MAan- GEeet....
Geet- FINE . I will eat and then SLEEP.
Maan- haan meri jaan..ab kha lo please?
So they ate.
Rajji knocked and entered
she hugged Geet and then Maan and was followed by Vicky
Rajji- we were so so worried and are so glad you guys got back ok
Geet noticed the swollen eye-lids and Maan noticed Vicky looking at Rajji
Maan- Vicky...? VICKY?
Vicky- ji bhai?
Maan- sab thik?
Vicky- j-ji Bhai..
Geet and Maan exchanged a look and he realized she has a plan...
these idiots would be otherwise even slower than themselves..
Rajji- chaliye ab aap log so jaayiye..we'll talk tomorrow over breakfast
Geet- Goodnight baby :)
Geet- vicky you stay for a minute
Vicky looked surprised but stayed
Vicky- ji bhabhs?
Geet- we were talking in the car today that it's high time you got yourself a girlfriend or better...a wife..?
Dadi was also worried about it...
Vicky- KYA? but..but..bhabhs..I ...?
Maan- soch lo Vicky..subha tak jawaab dena thik?
And he left feeling really morose...
Geet and maan looked at each other..
Maan came closer and kissed her on the nose
Maan- you are so chalaak...
Geet- Aakhir biwi kiski hoon?😉
Maan- hmmm..is gustaakhi ki kya sazaa doon?
Geet- aaj kuchh nahi..maan...Im very tired today :(
Maan- of course mishti..tum so jaao..
After freshening up, Mr and Mrs Khurana slept..one more blissful night....one of the last for at least some time...
