Chapter 9: Kuch ho gaya hai….

"Oh my god…this freaken line!" he said while flashing the passport in a frustrating motion.

She smiled.

"Maan this is only a line of 5 people, look at the other lines" she said amused.

"So, I hate waiting" he shrugged with eyebrows furrowed.

"You spoilt brat!" she said whipping his arm with the passport.

"You know I'm impressed…..you winded things up so quickly" he said raising a brow at her.

She looked down her eyelashes shadowing her cheeks. His praising her always had a blushful effect on her.

"And she shies!" he said while winking at the airhostess who was passing by a 4 meter distance.

"Maan I'm scared! Everythings gunna be new! I haven't gone to India in a while!!" she said worried.

"Sweetheart, I'm here, don't worry, and chill….okay" he said grabbing her hand into his.

She looked up at him smiling but conscious of people around watching them.

They walked up to the seats on the side but there was only 1 seat left.

"I'll stand, anyways I'm too excited to sit down" she said feeling heavy because of the whole change coming next.

He sat down and jerked her hand and she landed straight on his lap.

She gasped and her ponytail brushed across his eyes.

He blinked taking in her shampoo.

Her hands grabbed his shoulders and clutched his shirt.

Her right ear pressed into his hair and she closed her eyes because of the redness creeping up her body.

He was a bit shocked because her breath was tickling his neck and it felt soothing.

He grabbed her waist and pulled her so that she was sitting properly.

She fixed her hair avoiding eye contact with him.

It was a good thing she was wearing jeans and not some dress or skirt.

"Well, that was a bit rough I'm sorry" he said looking up into her eyes.

"Maan I'll get off" she said tucking a strand of hair back.

"No, just sit….it's only for a few minutes, you're not gunna stand for a while" he said leaning back onto the seat.

The women beside looked at them dazed, smiling.

Geet looked at Maan amused and he winked back.

"You two are so cute" the Indian women said.

Geet blushed and Maan tugged Geet closer enjoying.

"My husband could learn a few things from you" the women said glaring at the man beside her.

Geet giggled silently.

"So are you two married?"

"Nope, but we will that's why we are going" Maan said not looking at Geet.

He knew right now her eyes would be widened and she would be red.

And Geet was exactly that right now, and the only addition was that her heart pounded.

The women nodded smiling.

"Well, all the best for your future married life" the women said gathering her things and ran straight ahead ignoring her hubby.

"Don't get married" her husband said scared and running towards his wife.

Maan turned laughing and looked at Geet.

She slowly turned towards him recovering.

She was red and had mixed feelings. Feelings about this not ever being true and feelings about hopefulness about this coming true.

Oh, how she loved him!!

"I sure got them didn't i?" said Maan quieting after seeing her pink beauty.

She was so different than anyone he had met.

"Maan I think it's time to go" Geet said normal again.

She got off of his lap and went ahead.

He got up and ran a hand through his hair confused.

He was changing, and he knew it.

"Are you gunna be scared?" he asked putting an arm around her.

"No, I am a big girl and I live alone, and don't tell me you think girls are supposed to be scared just cuz their girls?" she said vey fast.

He took a deep breath.

"No, I, I wasn't thinking that at all" he said rubbing her shoulder, his arm still around her.

It had been a while and she had fell asleep on his shoulder and their hands were entwined.

He looked over to her and her hair covered her face and moved it back smiling at her.

He was so tempted to touch that creamy skin and pure beauty, he leaned in closer.

He gently pressed his lips on her forehead.

He moved back blushing.

He then pressed a kiss on her hand that was wrapped with his.

He sighed leaning back into the seat smiling continuously.

After a few more hours it was time to go and he gently rubbed her shoulder.

She opened her eyes and saw his face a few inches from hers.

Their breaths exchanging and the closeness………..was getting to both of them.

The sudden lighting snapped them out of their trance.

"Uh, I think it's time to go" he said forgetting everything.

"Yeah, umm fasten your seatbelt" she said moving away.

They landed and he was so nervous.

"What if she knows I kissed her? Maan why did you have to do that? UH!! I hate feeling like a thief!" he thought making weird faces.

She looked over and broke into laughter.

"Oh my gosh! That was hilarious!" she said pointing to his face.

He figured what she meant and he broke into laughter too.

"Let's go get the luggage and then it's off to our new home" he said pulling her with him.

"Our? New home?!" she said confused.

"YUP!"

PRECAP:

"Relax, oh my! Geet your behaving like you are so not from America!" he said laughing.

She pouted.
