"Hey, lost soul! Where did you disappear of to??" I heard Misha asked. I looked up from my coffee mug and replied, "Nothing. I'm just feeling a little low." "Low!! Dude, Fresher's is coming! You can't feel low!!" Misha exclaimed. "I don't know Mish. Maybe I'm just exhausted. Today was after all the first day and I'm so not used to such an environment," I sighed. The truth was, I was still a little disturbed about the whole 'oil' episode. Firstly, there was something about that Abhay guy which was kind of exerting some sort of a power, a weird kind of pressure on me. Secondly, that oil was meant for me. But why? What would Raj gain out of making me slip? "Hmmm...well, hurry up with your coffee in that case so that you get a kick. We're going shopping today!!" Misha snapped me out for a second time. "Shopping?? No Mish, I'm really not upto it...." I started to protest. "Come on, yaar, Pia! Don't be a party pooper!! Please!! And come to my place for dinner too so that we can chat and get to know each other better!! Please Pia!! Pretty please! With 10000 cherries on top! Mom and dad are also not in town! It'll be just you, me and Birdie!" Misha jumped up and down enthusiastically. I did not have the heart to disappoint her so I agreed.

"Mish, I really can't buy this! Its way too expensive!" I cried staring at myself in the mirror, or rather at the dress I was wearing. It was a rouge coloured mini dress with the thinnest spaghetti sleeves I've ever seen and exposed half my back. "Plus," I continued, "I can't carry off such revealing stuff." "Pia, you know thats your problem. You are so pretty and you have a nice figure and lovely complexion. You have immense potential to look hot but you just don't use it," Misha said. I sighed, "But its expensive also, Mish..." "Come on, yaar, Pia. Its the Fresher's and this month is ending! You said you'll get your mom's savings next month. Adjust a little for a week. This is once in a lifetime! And if you're apprehensive, then I'll pay a part of it and you can return it with interest when you get your money," Misha said, "Come on, babes. I know your condition but you have to dress like the others. You'll feel awfully out of place if you don't and even if you don't care, doesn't matter, thats the dress code you have to follow! I'll also be wearing a dress. Eww!!!" "Ok, Mish. If you say so. I'll go without chocolates for a week," I winked. Misha gave me a satisfied smile and we both left for her place.

We entered the Dobrial's lobby and in front of me, I saw a life-size family potrait of Misha and Panchi with a pretty lady and the man whose face I was seeing after 8 years......
P.S. People please give me a feedback regarding the last line. If you don't want Mr. D to be Pia's father here, then I'll edit it.
