PART 2
'MISSION SAVE RIDDHIMA BEGINS'

INDIA
Padma ' Rohan beta please wahan pahunch kar hamein phone karma mat bhoolna.
Rohan: yeh bhi koi kehney ki baat hai aunty.don't worry sab theek ho jayega.mere
Kayi friends hain wahan par aur kuch business associates bhi main sab sambhaal loonga
Shashank :-pata nahin meri gudiya yeh sab kaisey bardasht kar rahi hogi.
Rohan closed his eyes imagining the situation of Riddhima and frowned.
RO: uncle Riddhima ne kabhi kisi ka bura nahin kiya.mujhey yaqeen hai who begunaah saabit ho jayegi.hamein bhagwan koi na koi raasta zaroor dikhayega.koi toh hoga jo uski baton par yaqeen karega aur usey bachanay kay liye hamara saath dega.
NANI: kash jot u kahe sach ho jaye aur bhagwan hamaray liye koi maseeha bhej de.
Just then they heard call for the passengers to New York flight.
Rohan took the blessings of all and went to board the plane.

NEW YORK
Angel of Gupta family was at the airport making his interrogations.
He asked for the list of passengers and called upon the air hostesses of that flight on duty and took them to the FBI office where Riddhima was already present. Muskaan and Rahul were there with her.
A smile came upon Riddhima's lips and for the firsttime since she has been taken here after seeing Armaan, she let a sigh of relief. Armaan replied back the smile and then asked the airhostesses to sit and then started asking them questions.
[Actually Riddhima was caught in the flight from Chicago to New York and then she was heading on the next flight to India.It was during her boarding process for the flight to India,she was arrested.]

AR: Did you notice behaving any passenger in the plane a bit strangely?
All air hostesses except one replied no.
AR: What happened? Did you notice anyone?
Air-hostess: Actually sir I don't know how to say.
She looked at Riddhima
AR: Riddhima did you also notice anyone.
She fumbled with the corner of her dupatta.
RI: Actually Armaan I mean sir .There was a man sitting in the same row as mine.Thank God his seat and mine had the gap of passage. He was annoying me by staring at me now and then.
Armaan's hand turned into a fist.
AR: Anything more.
AIRHOSTESS: Sir , that man seemed a bit troubled and was constantly fiddling his hand in one of his pockets. Even I found him staring at this madam.
AR: Alright. Did he get off his seat except for going to the washroom?
RI: I don't know.
AIRHOTESS: Yes once he got up from his seat when madam opened her bag and I don't know why but I found it quite strange when he took out something from his pocket and peeped in madam's bag.
On Armaan's forehead, several lines were drawn.
AR: Riddhima why did you open your beg?
RI: Actually I wanted to take out and have a look at my family photos in my digital camera as well as take a glance at an album .I was awake quite early in the morning.
Her face fell as she recollected a photo of the whole Gupta family along with Rohan.Her sorrow didn't go unnoticed by Armaan.He was about to say something but was interrupted by Rahul.
RAHUL: Armaan,do you think that man could be the real culprit.
AR: I don't think so. I'm hundred percent sure.
RI: But why me only?
AR: That is what I'm going to find out.
He let the airhostess go and then asked Rahul to take Riddhima to their secret house.
The location of the place where Riddhima and Armaan were living was known only to a few trusted officers of FBI for the sake of Riddhima's safety.
Armaan then look through the list of the names of all the passengers of that flight to see if any known criminal was present in that flight.
He then asked Nikita to go to the airport and bring the cctv video tapes of 2nd April,2010-the black day of Riddhima's life.
Nikita went to the airport and when Muskaan saw Armaan a bit relaxed she went and checked his forehead.
AR: Muskaan what are you doing.
MU: Armaan I mean sir ,I was checking if you are alright.
AR: What?
MU: I wonder why didn't you outburst on Riddhima for opening her bag in the midst of the flight.
AR: Muski just shut up and officer Muskaan I want you to go through the cctv cameras of the airport first along with Nikita and then let me know if something catches your attention.
MU: yes sir.
After she went away Armaan smiled remembering the peaceful two nights of his life after eight months.
He was surprised that the dream which was haunting him since past eight months was no more making him wake up since last two days.
He, of course, knew the reason.
He came out of his thoughts by a vibration in his pocket.
AR: What? You got transferred here. Oh My God! I'm sooooooooooo happy.When will you be reaching New York?
Man on the other side: In the evening bro.
Oh no I'm ought to be with the girl who is being charged of the drug supply.
MAN:'''..
AR:- What? You wish to meet me there but you know its against the rules.
Man:- ''''''''.
AR: That's awesome man. I'll sms you the address ok.love you bro.U don't know how much I missed you these years and how is the love of your life?
Man:- absolutely fine. She misses all of you a lot Armaan.
AR:I'm glad to have you both again in new york.will wait for you .love you.bye
Armaan was very happy after the phone he received and immediately went into Rahul MEHRA-Chief's office to tell him the news.

Inside Chief's cabin
RM: What happened Armaan?Did you get any new clue that would let the girl survive.
AR: Not yet sir but I hope to get them soon.Anyways I want a personal minute of you if you permit.
RM: what is it beta?
AR: He is coming back from Chicago.
RM: What?sach? Oh My God! I'm so happy.
He hugged Armaan.
AR: He got transferred back here.
RM: Fantastic. Now when you are away from home, your mom will get a second son tonight. She will be very happy.
AR: Yes, she will.
RM: any progress with the case.
AR: Yes. We are in search of the man whose seat was in the same row of Riddhima.Riddhima as well as an air-hostess said that a man was staring at her and disturbed her through gazing at her all the time.Moreover he had something in his pocket which was much precious for him as he didn't took his hand out of the pocket for once and fiddled with it through out the journey except once.
RM: When?
AR: When Riddhima opened her bag,he peeped inside it when she went behind her seat to fetch a piece of paper.It was the air hostess who found him leaning towards her bag.
It was early in the morning and most of the passengers were asleep. So if had put the packet in that brief minute of time Riddhima would not have been able to see him in the darkness as the lights were still off and Riddhima was searching her family album with the help of mobile light.
RM: Can he be the real culprit?
AR: he is dad.
RM: Tell me one thing.Riddhima said that she worked in New York's hospital so why did she come to New York from Chicago.
AR: There can be many reasons dad.She might have gone for visiting Chicago or some work and she holds a degree from Lincoln hospital.
RM: Alright. Why do you frustrate when I ever get suspicious of Riddhima?
Armaan looked away from his dad.
AR: You are getting it all wrong.
RM: may be anyways.I 'm sure there will be a meeting held soon by the higher authorities to ask about this special judgement to the convict.I'll try my best not to let this meeting happen by making some logical explanations but if they don't get convince, be prepared to answer them.So hurry up and try to get some valid evidences in Riddhima's favour.
AR: What if they don't agree with us?
RM: I'm afraid that we will be bound to put her behind the bars.
AR: No.I will never let her go through all this.
He banged his fist against the table.
Rahul was surprised. There was something more which Rahul thought he has to figure out about his son's changing behaviour.
AR: How many days do you think we have?
RM: one week I guess.
AR: That is more than enough.
RM: Is there anything you are hiding from me?
AR: No. What makes you think so?
RM: Nothing'
AR: I guess I should take a leave now. I'll have to be quick now.
After returning to his cabin he called upon Abhimanyu and then they were sitting together in a dark room and watching the photographs. Rahul was demonstrating the slide. They were actually going through the list of drug dealers.
The person with whom Rahul ended the slide made Armaan a bit angry. The last person was unknown. No one has ever seen him and he was the best drug dealer and has not been caught even once. His smuggling business was going on all over the world and he was in search of the international police.
ABHI: Its quite hard to make out who can be amongst these this time.
AR: hmm you are right.What do you say Rahul?
R: after our last encounter only last three smugglers are seen most active since past 5 months.
AR: hmmm.
AB: I think the girl must be working for the last one.You see if they have a doctor in their gang it will be quite easy for them to get any kind of drugs.
AR: For the last time officer Abhimanyu I'm warning you .Untill and unless we find the real truth don't dare to call her a drug smuggler. She is innocent.
AB: I'm sorry, its hard to believe.
Armaan clutched his fists in anger.
Rahul kept a hand on Armaan's shoulder.
R: cool down
AR: Tell him to leave
R: Abhi plz
AB: Rahul .I don't think, I was wrong in saying that our seniormost rank holder has some feelings for the girl.
R: Will you kindly go away please.
Abhi laughed and went away and Rahul turned towards Armaan.
R: I've never seen you lose your temper like this to your juniors Armaan,I mean sir.
AR: I don't know whats happening to me Rahul. Its just that I don't want our officers to mistrust Riddhima coz if they trust her only then they'll be able to help her prove innocent.
R: You are right to an extent but I'm not sure that is the only reason for your short temper today.
AR: Rahul.Can we change the topic please?
R: Your wish.
AR: You know he is coming to back to us from Chicago.He has got his transfer back here.
R: You mean to say 'Oh my God
He hugged Armaan.I'm soooooooo happy.I'm going to tell muski ,she will be very much happy. We'll have great fun now.
AR: Not before we get Riddhima free out of this.
R: aye aye captain.
They smiled.

Niki took a lot of time for returning from the airport because of bad weather. So Armaan asked her to check out the video tapes first and he'll be checking it tomorrow.
Armaan went back to the house and then looked for Riddhima.
He found her in the kitchen cooking the food.
He just stopped at the entrance door of kitchen and saw her. She was completely lost in her cooking. He smiled as she wiped off the beads of sweat on her forehead by rubbing it against her sleeves. A lock of hair was disturbing her again and again but her both hands were busy with wheat flour so she used to blow air and move her head again and again to remove that lock of hair.Armaan didn't know when he started walking towards her. He was completely mesmerized by Riddhima standing before him in a blue saree. Her aanchal was tied along her waist so that it may not disturb her while working.
Riddhima felt his breath on her neck and turned around only to find Armaan much close to her.
She was about to speak when Armaan put the lock of her hair behind her ear.In doing so his fingers brushed her skin, leaving her tantalized. She closed her eyes for a moment and when she opened it she found him a step back looking at her with a glow on his face. His eyes said something which she was trying to figure out but the whistle of pressure cooker brought them back to the world.
They were startled. Armaan realized what he did and he immediately looked down.
AR: I'm sorry Riddhima. I thought that hair was disturbing you so I thought to help.
RI: That's ok.
She said while blushing slightly.
He again would have started admiring her but his brain controlled his heart this time.
AR: Why are you cooking?I think I've appointed the maid.
RI: I've given her off forever.I love cooking.I'll be bored here.Please let me do this.
She begged like a kid and he could not help but admire her again.
AR: I can do anything to see you happy.
He said still in the daze but then started making it up by saying:
AR: I mean if cooking will get you out your boredom I've no problem.But whenever you feel the need please call upon the maid.
RI: Yes sir.
AR: So what is for dinner?
RI:I've made shahi paneer,roti and fried rice.
AR: Wow.How do you know that I love paneer.i'll be back in a minute.My mouth is watering.I forgot to tell.I've two guests tonight.Is the paneer you have cooked more enough for 4 people.
RI: Don't worry it is more than enough.I asked the maid to get 250gm paneer but she bought 500 grams. I think we are lucky to have her stupid memory.
Armaan laughed.
AR: I hope main tumhain zyada pareshan nahin kar raha hoon.
RI: just relax Armaan.parson tumnay hi mujhsay dosti kit hi na toh dosti mein ek dost ko dossray dost par apni baat manwanay ka poora haq hota hai .
AR: yeh I remember but anyways
RI: don't you dare say thanks to me. Remember dosti mein no thanks aur no sorry.
AR: yes madam.
They laughed and then Armaan went inside to get fresh.
When he came back he saw Riddhima sitting in the hall.She also had almost finished cooking and was drinking water before going to take a bath.
RI: Thank God you people didn't seal my luggage otherwise I would not have proper clothes to meet your guests.
Arman smiled.
AR: You know he is the best. I love him and have missed him a lot.
RI: Is he a friend?
AR: Actually he is my cousin brother.He is the son of my mom's brother .His parents passed away in an accident and then dad brought him home.We have grown up together. I'm his secret sharer.
RI: What about him?Don't you share all your secrets with him?
AR: I used to, but since a few years back he was transferred to Chicago and you know we don't get enough time to share everything.
RI: Oh. I'm quite eager to meet your brother. Give me five minutes. I'm sure I must be stinking after cooking through past 2 hours continuously and I'm afraid that the guests may refuse to enter in a house having a lady with a bad odour.
AR: No you are not stinking. You still look fresh and beautiful.
She blushed at his comment.
RI: Thank you but I'm going.
AR: Alright.
With this she went away and Armaan sat on the sofa with closed eyes thinking about the events that happened since the evening.He didn't know how to control his thudding heart after getting just one look of Riddhima.He had tried to find her everywhere but he has never wished to find her being charged as a criminal and he as her incharge officer.
He came out of his thoughts with the sound of a door bell.
