Before I begin with my comments for part 50, a big
Congratulations for completing 50 parts of this amazing story. Hats off to you for giving beautiful updates day after day. I really appreciate the way you look into minute details before posting any part. Its truly been a great pleasure to read each and every update!
Time for comments now😛
I absolutely loved this part. I actually have no words to express how much I enjoyed reading this part. I am gonna read this part again after I finish writing comments and then doze off to sleep.
I was a bit confused while I read the title of this part. But the last line made it clear. But I'd like to ask these words are from which language?
I liked Maan's restlessness here, his urge to talk to Geet as soon as possible. He probably had lotta questions in his mind which only Geet could clear. Daadi tried to ease him a bit but she knows her grandson better and was smart enough to make sure that Maan and Geet do not talk until the marriage ceremony is done lest they both end up deciding not to marry.
Even Geet was a bit restless that she hasn't talked to Maan after taking this decision and about her decision to marry him but she's pretty confident now and optimist enough to welcome the new life, the new happiness being showered on her.
Daadi wants to make this wedding special. Liked the theme she picked up.
And I loved the pics. It helped a lot in visualizing Geet's dress and jewellery. Simply beautiful!!!
Both Yash and Meera have truly been her family. Meera-Geet hug was sweet and Yash going to pick up Maan as her brother was again very sweet! She's got her own little family who have supported her when she needed the support of her biological family the most.
Maan-Geet talk before the marriage was important. He had a big wave of questions to ask from her but this wave was soon silenced by her single-line reply. Though I wasn't expecting Maan to understand this so soon, wanted a heart-to-heart conversation but, then may be, somethings are better left unsaid. Her reply was strong enough to push aside all the questions he had. I liked the way he proposed out to her again. That was actually sweet😊
And then the wedding😊
The wedding rituals-I am sure these aren't of Northern India. Which part of the country does it belong to? And the part where Daadi asks her to walk, to dance-does this actually used to happen? The rapid-fire question round-the one they had at the French cafe was the best!
Loved the wedding part a lot, specially the silent promises they made to each other during the pheras. That was really beautiful.
And I appreciate the efforts you've taken to describe the wedding in detail.
The games played post wedding were really fun. I enjoyed this part a lot. I remember the ring and the knot game being played at my cousin brother's wedding last year. Its truly great fun, not only for the couple playing it but also for the on-lookers. Also, the part where Meera and Yash stop Maaneet at the entrance besides the main one, reminded me of the same thing I did last year. I along with my two cousin sisters stood at the entrance of the room where the games were to be played and didn't let Bhaiya-Bhabhi enter without teasing them and taking the money, or the shagun, as its being referred to.
If I have to summarize in one word, my feelings after reading this update, it would be esctatic! I simply enjoyed this part. You really made this special😊
Thank you for the beautiful, heart-touching part😊
Hmmm, its 3.10 am here, I should probably go to sleep now. But I can't resist the temptation to read this part again. So before catching some sleep, I am gonna read this part once more😊
