She is on H1B and she gave her notice to the NY office before her marriage so as of the last day, they would send notice to INS to revoke her visa.

Since she has already accepted the SF job before marriage she has another visa petition going from the SF company, which is the only one grounds upon which she can stay in the US. Else she has to go back to India.

Here they can at least meet once every few weeks....packing her off to India would not have worked.'Trust me I try to research and know all the rules too before I could form an update...and anyways this was a crucial part of the storyline, so I had done quite a bit of information gathering there.

hmm you have done a lot of research here
to be honest as a story i didnt think for a ff you would have to research a lot in order to update but ur very precise which is great, that is why i can tell your an excellent writer
isnt it hard to have to research a lot?
if anyone has a question to all this i would hve thought it would be an easy answer which we may have missed when reading the parts or understanding them but there is more to it which i had not expected anyway
