I was just wondering does geet have to go to SF I mean I'm a bit confused with that, her going I'm not sure
anyway love maneet, I hope that Pari won't be a problem later on, her trying to get maan after geet has left...

I think I better answer this out here for all...

She is on H1B and she gave her notice to the NY office before her marriage so as of the last day, they would send notice to INS to revoke her visa.

Since she has already accepted the SF job before marriage she has another visa petition going from the SF company, which is the only one grounds upon which she can stay in the US. Else she has to go back to India.

Here they can at least meet once every few weeks....packing her off to India would not have worked.'Trust me I try to research and know all the rules too before I could form an update...and anyways this was a crucial part of the storyline, so I had done quite a bit of information gathering there.

Correct me if I am wrong...........now since they dont know if their wedding is legally valid or not, she cannot go back to India and come back on H4. Isnt it?

Bitter sweet update...parting is always hard...no matter how long you have known someone, how well you know them or how brief the separation!😔

I am looking forward to what happens once Maan is home...update soon...

He is a Green card holder in the story so can't come back on a H4...he just needs to get the GC process started...for which they need a legal registered marriage in the US...

Their Indian wedding certificate still doesn't hold good...as of now she cannot rely on Maan in anyway.

Am I giving legal consult here? 😆
