Hey Guys!

"meri bheji hui coffee bhi nahi pee aur humme join bhi nahi kiya? Mood kharab hai kya?" he asked with humour in his voice..

He was actually joking.. what was this man?

"Why are you doing this?" Gunjan asked.. genuinely

"I didnt get you? You were sitting alone thats why I sent the coffee?!"

He said confused..

That means he hadnt heard me but how could he do exactly what samrat did.. how could two people be so similar! That was shocking! Well i didnt say anything then.. I was too taken aback with the incidence!

"Nothing.. its ok! Thanks for your concern.. par I prefer sitting alone!"

Armaan smiled and looked at his watch..

"Sorry! I have to rush! Basketball practise in 10 minutes!"

"Oh! No problem.. even I have class!"

I reached home at around 5.. mom had just come home.. She was sitting in the living room.. I didnt know whether I should go talk to her or what! I had no idea what to say.. so I just went to my room..

Later that evening I watched TV and talked to Di for sometime.. after that I was bored.. I had nothing to do.. whenevr I thought of calling samrat I always felt as if i would disturb him so I didnt call..

I sat back on the bed and didnt realise when I fell asleep!

After sometime I felt a small peck on my forehead.. He jerked up to see samrat standing close to me with a warm and tired smile on his face... I took his breifcase from his hand and hugged him.. he put his hands around me and then sat on the bed..

"Chashmish main thak gaya hoon! Mujhe neend aa rahin hai..!"

I looked at the time.. Oh shit It was 10! I quickly went and got his food upstairs and then I had to feed him like a five year old who was to be fed!

His eyes were nearly closing.. he went and changed and sat on the bed..

"Bohot thak gaye?" I asked..

"Haan chashmish.. aur sar main dard bhi kar raha hai!"

Gunjan sat by his side and started pressing his head slowly.. He seemed to feel better.. She carressed his fore head when he lay down on the bed and put him to sleep..

"How was your day at work..?" he mumbled.. i dont know If he actually wanted an answer.. but taht reminded me of the coffee incident in college..

"Samrat.. tumhe pata hai aaj mujhe –

"Chashmish kal baat kare main bohot thak gaya hoon!"

I stopped.. He looked so tired.. i totally understood , ok maybe not. But i tried to understand. Well I wanted a little bit of his time.. and now he was so busy that he wasnt able to give me time at all.. I didnt know what was happening but i hadnt been with samrat since morning and now when he's back he is too tired to even look at me...

I had nothing else to say.. I put the blanket over him and lay down beside him.. I dont know if he realised it but he put his hand around my waist and plled me closer to him..

"Love you.." he mumbled.. probably in his sleep..

I put my hand on his cheek and replied.. "love you too.."

Then none of us spoke and we went into deepy sleep!

3^rd persons POV..

The next few days went the same way for them.. in college armaan kept reminding gunjan of samrat and samrat came late from work all most every now and then.. Gunjan didnt complain for somedays as it was his initial days at work so maybe he took some time to learn.. But it started to irritate her as well.. she was missing him terribly! He always had time for her.. whatever happened he always talked to her about her day at the academy.. but these days he just didnt have time..!

Everymorning gunjan left early for college, even before samrat woke up sometimes and samrat came home late.. So they could never really spend time with each other.. Finally the first weekend was here and gunajn decided that she and samrat should go out for lunch.. because this had been hectic for both of them.. In the morning samrat woke up late and had breakfast by 11..

He had a bath and then sat in front of the television watching his daily news.. Gunjan was getting irritated. Atleast on weekdays he could stop his work! She went and switched off the TV.

"Chashmish!" He said.. "yeh kya kar rahi ho! Abhi itna importat news aane waala tha!.. Tum bhi naa!"

"Samrat.. last time humne kab akele time spend kiya tha.. Last time kab humne saath main dinner—nahi, humne kab saath main koi bhi meal liya tha? Last time kab tumne mujhse haskar baath ki? Samrat yeh woh life nahi hai jo humne plan ki thi..!"

Gunjan sat on the bed and looked annoyed.. Samrat thought about it and realised that she was right.. the whole week he couldnt give her time because of his work and her college.. they never spent time together...

He went and sat next to her.. his hand around her waist.. Gunjan looked at him and then rested her head on his shoulder..

"Chashmish, aaj lunch par chale?" he said softly..

Gunjans eyes lit up and she nodded eagerly.. they both went and got ready..

Gunjan wore a purple salwar suit which was her favourite and samrat wore his shirt and pants..

They left home at around 2 for lunch.. They went to their favourite restaurant and took a table for two.. She and samrat sat there and samrat smiled at gunjan seeing the glow on his 'chashmish's face once again! Gunjan too smiled looking at samrat.. both of them were happy.. their eyes held each others and they didnt want to break the eyelock but the waiter interupted..

"Sir, madam, your order please!"

Samrat looked at the waiter annoyed and then they placed their order..

"Hi..!" came a familiar voice.. gunjan looked up to see armaan walking towards him from behind samrat..

"hi" gunjan said softly.. Samrat turned around to see a yound man walking towards gunjan smiling.. He had a huge tattoo on his hand and wore a black shirt and a pair of jeans.. He had pretty huge muscles.. 'since when did gunjan have these kind of friends' samrat thought..

"So Gunjan.. Finally i see you smiling for the first time.. (to samrat) and you must be excel's basketball champ!" he forwarded his hand to samrat..

Samrat took his hand and shook it.. "yes.. but who are you?"

"Oh common! Gunjan you didnt tell him? Thats not fair!"

"No.. actually—

"Oh bunk it! Ill introduce myself.. Im Armaan.. the basketball coach of excel college!"

"oh! A pleasure to meet you! And I am Samrat shergill..!"

"I know that..principal sir talks alot about you!"

"Oh how nice to hear that he still remebers us! Huh?"

He shot gunjan a smile and looked back at armaan..

"Ok dude.. now you guys can have your private lunch and Ill carry on! Bye. See you in college gunjan!" armaan said.. waving at her..

She waved back. "bye" she said as he went back to join his friends at the other table!Samrat looked at gunjan and they both were silent for sometime.. there wa sthis awkwardness that they didnt understand.. It was weird..

"So chashmish.. you didnt tell me about this friend of yours?" Samrat said with a naughty spark in his eyes.

Gunjan saw that and shook her head in disbelief..

"Samraaat! How could you! Your actually suspecting me—

"I was kidding jaan! Well.. but who is he?"

"Ah.. he's just a colleage and did you have time to listen to my stories that i would tell you..??"

"Ok ok madam.. now you can tell me everything you want!"

"Oh.. ok! So where should I start?"

"Anywhere you like.. abhi toh keh rahin thi ki mere paas sunne ke liye time nahi hai.. lagta hai tumhare paas batane ko kuchh tha hi nahi!"

"Haha.. ok Ill tell you this weird thing that happened......"

And she went on to tell samrat about the coffee thing and then two days earlier he came and adked her why she was so nervous everytime and she should be confident! And moreover he is a superb basketball player!

Samrat was thrilled too.. This ARMAAN guy was just like him.. this was so similar.. but at that time he noticed that gunjan was actually talking about armaan with such interest and excitement!

"Chashmish pehli baar tum kissi aur larke ke baare main itna baat kar rahi ho?"

Gunjan stopped mid way and realised that he was right.. they both ended up smiling and then samrat chuckled.. Gunjan looked down and shook her head..

Lunch was lots of fun for them.. they shared their experiences at work and enjoyed their meal.. they talked and laughed together after so long which to them seemed like ages.. Samrat and gunjan reached home and then got back into their normal woring way and were all refreshed for this new week!

Gunjan just wanted a little of samrats time and samrat wanted gunjan to keep smiling... They both were very happy after the day and were all energetic to start a new week!

But little did they know what was in store for them...
