Sorry for delays.. been so busy... with coursework and uni.. last year soo more work innit.. btw im sooo happy i got 2.1 in my criminal assignment!!! woohoo and i dun it the day it was due!!! wowwwwww....!!! i was like hell shocked cos the marker was like a strict marker.. n i thought my work was pretty much SHIT!!! lol anyways no delay and here the update....
The following morning Geet awoke early. The quiz was in 5 days and herself and Maan had to prepare for it. She went and took a shower and got ready. It was almost 9am. She went to knock on Maan's door.
'Come in its opened' A voice came from inside. Geet opened the door slightly and walked in.
'Maan' Geet said uncertainly. Maan exited from the bathroom with only his trousers on. His towel was covering his chest. Geet saw him and turned around.
So Geet is still getting affected by me. Well done Maan step one is complete Maan thought to himself
'woh main. Listen Mr Khurana, we have 5 days left for the quiz so we need to prepare. So could you please be kind enough to get ready so we can prepare'
'Miss Handa, do you work and prepare on an empty stomach'
'huh'
'God didnt give you brains. Breakfast! Do you not eat?'
'off course i eat. Stupid. I'm just going to get some breakfast now'
'oh i thought you were a magician or something that you didnt need to eat'
'Shut up and stop irratating me'
Geet left the room as she could no longer stand Maan and she knew he was gazing at her intently. Maan smiled as she left as he saw her fidgeting.
Geet was sitting in the hotel restaurant eating her breakfast when a random guy sat with her.
'excuse me' Geet said
'ohhh squuzzee me. what is a beautiful girl like you doing alone'
'Look could you please leave or sit somewhere else'
'Nooo everywhere else is full. Only this seat was empty'
The guy kept staring at Geet. Geet felt uneasy. She picked up her coffee cup and stood up when the guy grabbed her hand and pulled her towards him. Geet got annoyed and angry and threw her coffee at him. He stood up angrily. Everyone watched as Geet slapped him.
'Don't you dare try to misbehave with me again'
Geet left the restaurant and headed out. Maan entered and saw what transpired.
'That girl will pay for my insult' Maan heard him and knew that he might get up to no good so he decided to follow and stay with Geet.
He met up with Geet at the quiz centre library. They were both sitting and preparing notes.
'Geet what you did in the restaurant was really good i didn't know you were that brave'
'Maan, to be honest i thought i wasn't. But life makes you a braver person'
'Geet i want to ask you a question. Its a question i asked you before. I know it might take you time to answer'
'Maan if its about forgiving you then.........'
'Geet what i did to you was really bad and i feel really guilty for that. I wish if you could consider to give our frienship one more chance'
'NO'
'but'
'I am not falling in your trap again Mr Maan Singh Khurana, to be hurt thrown and used by you again'
'Geet please listen to me. I am really sorry'
'you might be sorry, but I can't be friends with a person who broke me to such an extent that i considered at one point to kill myself'
'Geet' Maan felt more guilt
'Yes Maan. I'm sorry. We are here together that is because of the quiz. After this quiz ends i am leaving the college. I am joining the medical school. And after that we will never meet. Today we are here as colleagues students. nothing more nothing less'
Geet got up and left the library.
4 days had passed the following day was the quiz day. Maan and Geet only spoke about the quiz. Geet ignored Maan. Whenever Maan tried to start the topic of the friendship Geet would leave.
Following day Geet and Maan won the quiz and had left Panchgini. Maan left all defeated.
One and half years later
Maan had finished college and joined his Khurana Business becoming a crude businessman. He missed Geet a lot. He saw her sometimes walking to the medical school and sanjeevani.
Geet and Rahul had already settled well into medical school Due to prior exams and teaching that Geet took earlier she already knew most of the stuff. she only had a few exams to go. She was already an intern at Sanjeevani. Rahul whereas had more work to go he was half way behind Geet. Rahul and Geet had got engaged but decided to wait until they became doctors then get married. Geet still didnt love Rahul. She sometimes remembred Maan. She sometiems thought what if she gave Maan frienship another chance?
That question kept her awake all night but she still rememberd the bad things that occured as well.
2 weeks later
Maan had an accident. He was brought into sanjeevani. Geet was the intern assisting the senior doctor. She saw the patient and was shocked.
'Maan' She whispered. 1 and half years she didnt see him. Tears threatened to spill her eyes. She still loved him somewhere.
She felt faint but she managed to successfully help the doctor in fixing Maan up.
Maan awoke in the morning with bandage. He saw Geet sleeping on the chair across him. Was he dreaming? The last thing he remembered was arguing with Ranjeet as he found out that he was the guy who mixed alchol in Geet's drink two years ago.
'Geet' Maan said. Geet woke up. She ran to Maan.
'Maan'
Geet realised what she was doing. Maan had made her weak again.Geet quickly composed herself.
'Mr Khurana how are you feeling?' Geet tried to act normal as possible.
'I'm fine Dr'
'Good'
Whats happening to me? Why did i feel weak when i saw Maan in that state? No I still love him. No I can't i'm marrying Rahul Me and Maan have no future? The brick he has broken the brick in my heart by scaring me with his near death. He made me realised that I still love him. God please help me. I can't love Maan again.
Sorry i changed the story a little bit.. i kinda moved it forward a lot.........
So now its Geet falling in love again with Maan....
