31- Never Say Never

The next day Piya was all excited for her first official date with Abhay she didn't see Abhay since morning as today they don't have the same schedule.

During the second lecture she was lost thinking of different hair styles that she could try with that beautiful dress that Abhay got her chewing her pen

Misha pokes her "Hey what's up with you? You seems distracted" whispers Misha
Piya smiles "nothing! This class bores me to death"

"Misha & Piya could you please cut the chit chatting and concentrate! You both are disturbing the whole class!" says the professor agitated

"She is disturbing our minds with her boring lecture" whispers Misha Piya tries to stop her self from giggling and then the both say "sorry maim!"
And then Piya gets a message alert in her mobile
"Meet me now urgent down in boy's locker room" it was from Abhay!

She becomes nervous a bit and gives it a thought what could be so urgent! And how could she go
"Miss, may I leave?" says Piya
"The class is in the beginning Piya I can't let you go! If you go I will write you down absent!"
"I am sorry maim but I really have to go I will be back soon I have to do something urgent!" then she whispers to the professor that she has an upset stomach since morning and she needs to use the WC! So she lets her go, Misha looks at her puzzled Piya holds her stomach

She grabs her bag and walks quickly to the boys locker room but before she could reach it a hand grabs her and pulls her to the small store where they keep the sports gear.

"Abhay! I thought you said to meet you in the locker room!" says she trying to catch her breath
"There are some boys out there now!"

She narrows her eyes and twitches her lips "so what's so urgent?" she says in a cute voice

"Piya I am sorry we can't go out tonight!" he says with a hint of regret in his beautiful eyes
"Oh! It's ok but why?" says she feeling disappointed a bit as she was looking forward for it, to spend some quality time with him

He sighs and pushes away a strand of her hair away from her face touching her very gently" I have to accompany my dad to Delhi we will be leaving after an hour, but we will be back tomorrow morning, hey we can go tomorrow night!"

She gulps and says "tomorrow! But you are going out with boys remember?"
"I can cancel it"
"No you can't do that! Beside tomorrow I am going out with Tina too"
"But you are going for lunch!"
"It's ok Abhay let's give it a rain check" she smiles
"I am sorry Piya; I know you must feel disappointed! I will make it up to you I promise"
She shakes her head touching his face "you never disappoint me Abhay" she says looking at him fondly

He moves his face and kisses her hand she withdraws her hand feeling her pulse racing
He smiles and strokes her face gently with his hand "you are too sweet! and too understanding, do you know that?" she smiles and swallows feeling a bit nervous and bit excited now to be inside that small store room with him alone standing just inches away from him
"Ok then I will see you tomorrow! Bye now and wish you a safe journey" she says smiling

He raises his eye brows "is this is how you bid goodbye to your boy friend? How disappointing!" and he leans forward brushing his nose against her cheek She giggles feeling ticklish, he smirks and says "how come you smell so good all the time!" he says softly
"Abhay I need to get back to the class!" she says, her voice quivering now

"Hmm, so the boring class is more important then being with me! You won't be able to see me for more then 24 hours yet you wanna leave so soon" he says teasing her with a husky voice, his breath caressing her skin.

It wasn't the class that she was worried about! It was the fact that both of them being alone locked in that tiny room! and him being so close to her, his voice , his scent, his touch and his warmth tingle her like thousand butterflies are roaming in her guts, making her feel weak on the knees and she bites her lips, her heart racing as he still rubs his nose against her, his lips barely touching her skin and his hand stroking her bare shoulders

"Abhay" she whispers in a very weak voice now, her eyes closed, he stops and stands straight, he was aware how his closeness and touch were affecting her
she slowly opens her eyes and he looks at her deeply gazing her now with a sad smile, his eyes lighter gleaming with emotions

her face was flushed, her back was against the door her chest heaving while he was facing her, he leaves her shoulders and places his hands on the door trapping her
"I am going to miss you like hell! Do you know that? I miss you all the time! But I can't help it and I hate all this! I want to be with you, and let everyone know that you are mine!" he says with a voice filled with emotion with a hint of pain and frustration.
His words send a tingling sensation through her spine and she knew how he felt as she felt exactly the same way

Her eyes get misty and she hugs him wrapping her arms around his waist breathing heavily "I want to be with you too and I miss you all the time Abhay!" She says her voice quivering with emotion

He smiles and embraces her tightly "you know sometimes I get this Crazy idea of us eloping far away in a remote Island just the two of us leaving everything behind"
She says blushing "hmm seems your intentions are not shareef!" she says teasing him
He pushes her away to look at her "my intentions are decent but seems your mind is dirty Piya" he says teasing her, and grinning

She raises her eye brows "hmm so what exactly would we do alone in a remote Island, that we can't do here? May I ask?" she says with a blush on her face

"Talk, and walk hand in hand, swim, do things together and be together day and night without being afraid that someone might see us" he says softly

"Well this all can happen here too once we are open about our relationship! Maybe only the night part will be a bit of problem!" she says looking down
"that can be fixed too after we get married, but I am talking about now! Not later!"

Married did he say married? Her heart start to pound faster, and he realizes her reaction to what he had said

Damn! how could my tongue slip like this ! I don't want to spoil this! This wasn't where I wanted to say this! Certainly not in a stupid store! And not so soon too! He thought feeing a bit nervous, though deep down he knew that she wouldn't mind them getting married so soon but he wasn't sure about whether it being right decision or wrong for her sake and not his own

She doesn't say anything, so he tries to brush it off too and says "so you see! My intentions are decent! I am talking about now" he winks

"I am still not so sure about that!" she giggles teasing him
"Aha! so what do you think I would do miss Piya Jaiswaal with you alone in an Island?" he says with a playful voice and then grabs her from her waist and pulls her closer she gasps

"You see I don't need a remote island to take advantage of you! Here you are and here I am and we are alone in a store, so what do you think I will do?" he says in a very playful voice

She gulps feeling very nervous now "Abhay I was kidding you I know you never..."
"Kidding! I don't think so! I suppose you thought I will do this" he says mischievously and he leans and kisses her forehead brushing his lips against her skin she closes her eyes
"Or this" he kisses her cheeks teasing them and she gets lost in her own emotions
"Or maybe this" he kisses her nose
She was becoming breathless and so was he
"Or this" his voice becoming huskier and he kisses her ear breathing deeply now
She shivers and whispers his name
"Or maybe this" he sighs and then he takes her parted lips between his own locking them in a deep wet kiss

They kiss each other with so much passion as they cling to each other like they don't want to ever let go, and After a long moment, he breaks off the kiss embracing her she rests her head on his chest the sound of their deep breath floating in the room she was a bit dizzy to stand on her own, so he sits and let her sit next to him one arm around her shoulder one of his hands holding hers stroking it, her head resting on his chest and his head tilted touching hers

She looks around the store "you choose the weirdest places to romance Abhay!" she jokes and then giggles

He chuckles "are you saying I am an unromantic guy?"

She giggles she knew he was the most romantic guy she ever saw and it showed even in the tinniest gestures that he did for her ever since she knew him
They all had a touch of romance even when he pretended that he hates her and tried to hurt her his actions were all filled with love. They showed her how much he cared for her, all he did was for her sake.

"You still didn't answer me!" he says raising his eyebrows
"No baba! I think you are very romantic, khush! But hey this place sure stinks" she says sniffing and they both laugh softly

He sniffs, and says: "it sure does! but you know something, whenever i am with you i can't see or smell anything else but you" , she smiles affectionately

Then he stands up "I think we better get going before someone comes to get a ball or a bat or something" he pulls her up and asks her to wait, he opens the door slightly and looks outside to see if the path was clear and then the step out side

they both look at each other with loving eyes smiling "I will call you"
"I will be waiting for your call" they say good byes to each other and he walks outside the college her eyes following him he turns and waves then he is gone
she sighs deeply and walks towards her class and she gets a message from Abhay " I already miss you :("
She smiles and sends him a reply "I miss you more :p"


The next day, after Piya finishes her classes and as she was walking towards her hostel, Tina walks towards her wearing a light green sleeveless summer dress with no make up at all but she still looked picture perfect she hugs her "so are you ready? I have booked a table for us I am sure you will like the food it's one of the best!" says she with a smile on her face

"Let me freshen up and change and then We can go" says Piya smiling

"Ok I will wait for you inside the car" she says
with a huge smile and then goes out
Piya smiles and then she rushes to change, she quickly freshen ups and wears a light purple top and a beige low waist jeans

As soon as they hit the road the girls hit it off very well as they start to talk, Piya tells her about her self and about their Goa journey, both laugh and talk about themselves
"You can't imagine how happy I am for Abhay and you! You both are made for each other you just belong together"
She smiles "thanks Tina you are so sweet"
As they reach their destination "nice car" says Piya
"It's rented I came by plane but you should see my own car back in Mumbai it's a real stunner I just love it" says she excited

Then she continues "You know something! Ever since I was a kid I always used to say that one day I will drive my own car, kids in the village used to make fun of me saying that we were poor so how would I be able to buy it"
Piya looks at her puzzled you were a poor villager I thought you were like Abhay!

"You are from a village?! But you never look like it! I mean anyone would see you would think you are an up town girl! From upper crust "Says Piya looking at her stunned
Tina giggles "there is a long story behind it but seems Abhay didn't tell you about me! and about my past! That's Abhay a true gentleman!" she says fondly

"If you don't want to talk about it, it's ok" says Piya smiling
"I will tell you but let's first find a nice place to be seated" the waiter let them choose wherever they want to as the place was almost empty

"You know something, ever since I saw you I had this gut feeling that we will become best of friends. In those past 20 years of me being a vampire life would have been a real pain if I hadn't Abhay as a friend by my side,in fact he is the only friend I have he was always there when I needed him the most! And he is the only man that I can trust, did he tell you that he is the one who changed me to a vampire and gave me a second chance in this life?"

Her eyes widen so Abhay is the one who turned Tina "no, he didn't! So you have turned only 20 years ago! But why did you want to change? Was it for Abhay?" she gulps did she has a thing for him before! She thought

She chuckles "no silly! It's a long story , I don't want to bore you"
"You can tell me Tina I am really keen to know"

Tina sighs and smiles "don't say I didn't warn you, you see I grew in a small village my dad used to be a farmer, we were poor but we were happy
my dad had big dreams for me and my three siblings although being uneducated himself; he always wanted us to study and I being the eldest he would do anything to make me forward in my studies

I remember as a kid he used to carry me on his shoulders to the bus station which was a bit far from Our home so I get to go to school on time! When I was in my final Year of school people including my mom used to bug him and tell him to look for a good groom for me and let me get married but he didn't listen to anyone of them, though at time like most of the girls in my village I wasn't too keen on studying my self, but he never gave up on me, he used to tell me that studying broaden your mind's horizons and a degree is like a key, it opens many closed doors for you, he was a wise man my dad" she says affectionately her eyes becoming misty

"He sure was, so you finished you studies?" says Piya

She shakes her head "no fate wasn't that kind, same year my dad died hit by a drunk driver! He died instantly on the spot leaving his own old parents, a spinster sister, my mom, with my 3 sibling who were all kids at time, I was 17 so I left school so I could help in farming as that was our only mean of surviving though my mom used to make pottery too, anyhow life become very tough and there were too many people to feed, so when i was almost 20 my mom was becoming more depressed as she was very keen on getting me married and Though I had many proposals but once they knew that there is no much we could offer them as dowery they all backed off, one day a b-grade movie was being shot near our village and like all the villagers I rushed to watch, that's when I saw him, the man who changed my life!"

"You mean Abhay?" says Piya

Tina chuckles "no silly Raaj! I got to know Abhay later"
"Oh I see so who is this Raaj?"
"A very bad man who played an act of love on me, and being an innocent villager I fell head over heals over him but he had some other agenda, he tried to convince my mom that he would take me to Mumbai and make a movie star out of me or a super model and that it won't be difficult because of my beauty, but my mom didn't agree , but I insisted, I reminded her that we need money so if I become a movie star I could fulfill all of my fathers dreams of my siblings getting a good education and a good life so she agreed hence I went With Raaj, from the day one I suspected something was wrong as all the sweet talks that made me fall for him changed and he turned into a monster in drunken state .." she pauses with a disgust look in her face her eyes tearful Piya holds her hands looking at her compassionately

"So he tried to force him self on me and rape me! But I didn't let him I fought and then lock my self in the bath room! Then next morning he tried to console me saying that he did that out of love and that he was drunk but I knew he was a liar when he came home drunk again with another man and then he sent him to my room, I escaped from them and ran, so there I was alone in the streets of Mumbai with no money and nothing, I was so scared as I walked along the street then I saw her Madame sherry a middle age woman. As she spotted me she stopped her car she looked very posh in a posh car with driver if you see her you would think she belongs to a rich respected family and that what I thought at the time but the truth was she was a pimp who trains young beautiful girls and turn them into classy escorts come call girls, high class call girls! I felt relived when she showed kindness and took me to her home she showered me with compassion as I told her my story.

At first I thought she was just being kind seeing a lonely young girl, then she told me the truth about her work and asked me if I was interested in working for her! Of course I got shocked and refused so she gave me some money for the train ticket and food so I can get back to my village and told me that her driver will take me to train station if I want to, but then she reminded me of my responsibilities and what would I do when I get back home. At that moment I truly felt trapped.

She asked me to think it over night and if I still felt in the morning that I wanted to go back home then I can go, to be honest she was very kind with me! Anyhow I knew that there was no other way for me now so I said yes to her next morning and then she started to train me, she showed me how to talk, walk and eat as high a class lady! How to dress up groom and makeup and how to use different body gestures and the whole seduction and flirting games, it was very strange experience to tell you the truth for whole 2 months she used to send money to my family while I lied to them that I found a job as a model sending some shots of me, Meanwhile I was getting trained and pampered.

Then my training took a new turn when she let me attend parties and use my flirting and seducing techniques to allure men and I did that but there was no physical thing yet, but it was still bad as sometimes, some men will get high when they get drunk and try to force them selves but Madame sherry had these body guards hired to make sure her girls are fine" she sighs

"this is really sad" says Piya feeling a lump in her throat

"The good thing about working for Madame sherry was that she was kind and she was very generous, but I was mostly thrilled that my family was living well from the money that i sent them, and the following month I become the first class high society girl dining in the finest restaurants, clubbing and partying in the most prestigious night clubs and mingling with the upper crust and having the best luxuries, Getting pampered in the best saloons and spas but deep down I felt so hallowed and empty"she sadly says
"So how did you meet Abhay? And how did you turn?"

"It was the same phase of my life 20 years ago, every early morning when I came home to my flat after a busy night escorting, I came across Abhay as he jogged or sometimes drove off to his university, I would see this handsome boy and I would wave to him but he just look at me and drives off till one day and that was the first time I actually interacted with him, I was sitting with a man in a night club when he tries to kiss and touch me in all wrong places by force, I tried to push him away politely but he grabbed me and Abhay as a hero came to my rescue and when I thanked him he gave me a cold glance and said " find a better job and if interested here is my number" Then he handed me his business card and went off" she smiles

"I didn't take him seriously, I wish I did, beside I was in debt of Madame sherry so I couldn't bail . Then came the fateful night when Madame sherry informed me that now I was ready to go beyond escorting and that she has set a meeting for some rich men to bid on me because I was still a virgin, you don't know how it felt to stand there and being displayed as a lust object that night I hated every men in the planet and cursed my own self for being beautiful after seeing the lust in those pathetic men's eyes" she says in disgust

Piya feels her heart sinking as she listens "and"

"Then my worst nightmares came true, the highest bidder ended up being a rich sadistic psycho! who loves to torture women, though he seemed like a handsome and normal man, but for two whole days this man tied me down in a remote house and then he constantly abused me physically, he started to torture me slowly with different tools the more I shudder the more he becomes thrilled then his sanity increased as he beat me so hard that after few hours I felt numb and when I didn't react he would revive me and start all over again, but he spared my honor! As he didn't rape me! Thank God! And that's because maybe he gets his thrills from beating up women and not from sleeping with them!

After two horrifying days he threw me near a night club near the garbage in an alley all broken, even my face, and bleeding to death and in my last breath, that was when Abhay rescued me, he carried me and rushed towards the hospital they gave me blood so I regained my consciousness and then the police asked me about my attacker I told them who he was! I think he got arrested but they bailed him out since he was very powerful man, but I was dying as the doctors couldn't do anything! the constant abuse and beating broken my rip bones and my spine was fractured too, so I was not only paralyzed but also one of the rip bones had punctured my heart damaging it beyond repair so I was eternally bleeding

When Abhay was informed about that he came to me and when I saw him I thought somehow that he was an angel sent from up above, I knew i was dying, so I told him not to judge me for what I am I told him about what happened to me and about my family and asked him to take them with me as they will have no one to help them survive, that's when he said he can help me survive if I want to, it's strange but when he turned into a vampire I didn't get scared maybe because the man who tried to rape me by name of love and the man who beat me just to get some cheap thrills looked far more horrifying and were more monstrous then Abhay, the kindness that he showed me by rescuing me although he could have got accused and arrested was enough for me to know that he was an angel indeed there was no hidden agendas and no lust in the way that he always looked at me whenever i saw him.

I still can recall vividly the look in his eyes, when he first entered the hospital room there was so much compassion and affection, He just filled my broken heart with warmth with his caring nature, then he asked me if I wanted to become a vampire like him so I could live and I said yes, then he told me briefly what I am getting into I still said yes then he bit my arm"

Piya was listening earnestly her heart beat becoming fast and tears rolling down her cheek as she holds Tina's hands in compassion "oh my God! I am so sorry!"
Tina smiles a sad smile and then wraps her arms around Piya offering her a tissue "I am sorry for making you sad" she says
Piya shakes her head " this is really horrible I am sorry you went through all this" says Piya

After a while She calms down "So how does it feel? I mean the transformation!" asks her Piya
