Character Sketch

The Handas

Baldev Handa: A typical Punjabi. Lives in Mumbai and one of the renowned names in the Construction business. The guy who started with nothing is now one of the richest people of Mumbai. Waits for the time when a promise would be fulfilled. Proud father of two daughters and a son

Vaishnavi Handa: Wife of Mr. Baldev Handa. A housewife whose life revolves around her children and husband. A loving lady but vey strict when it comes to the principles and honor of their family. Best mother a child could have and best friend of her children especially her elder daughter Geet.

Geet Handa: Eldest daughter of Baldev and Vaishnavi Handa. A fun loving girl who live life to its fullest. Known to the fact that she is engaged to something who is a complete stranger to her and had closed all the doors of her heart for feeling of loving something or being loved unknown to the fact that love follows no rules and no boundaries and is just round the corner

Pari Handa: Youngest member of the Handa family. Pampered very much and a total nautanki. Believes that one day her Prince Charming would come to her and would take her away like Raj took her Simran which makes obvious that she is a die hard Shah Rukh Khan fan.

Yash Handa: The middle sibling of the Handa family. A sincere brother who could do anything for his sisters' happiness and the most eligible bachelor of Mumbai. A big flirt but knows his limits. Best friend of her younger sister and respects her elder sister a lot.

The Khuranas

Vikram Singh Khurana: Head of the Khurana family. A strict person for whom his principles are everything, even bigger than his family's happiness. Situated n England and run the family business. A person who can do anything to make thins go his way. Father of two sons.

Maan Singh Khurana: Vikram Singh's elder son. Very serious but very humble at the same time. Respects his father a lot but just like his father, he is the master of his commands and does what he likes and could even go against his father if things are not according to him but are forced on him. May be that's the reason he is still unaware of the fact that there is a girl who had dreamt of him sharing his life with her since childhood. He is very fond of his daadi and complete of a Daadi's boy. At least that's what his siblings call him because he always asks his daadi if he is right or wrong in his decisions. Even if they are just small things.

Vickrant Singh Khurana: Younger brother of Maan. Very close to his Daadima as she was the one who gave the three of them the love of a mother after that accident in which their mother died. Unlike Maan, he is more like a friend of his daadi and calls her 'girlfriend'. A fun loving guy who respects women a lot and is waiting for his Ms. Perfect. Fondly called Vicky by all.

Meera Singh Khurana: She is the daughter of Vikram's younger brother. Lives with them since thee day her parents and Mrs. Vikram died in a car accident. She was 7 years old then. A very reserved girl for the rest of the world who is open only to her brothers and Daadi. Thinks herself as the most luckiest person as everyone pampered her a lot and that only few people who were close to Khurna family knew that she was not Vikram's daughter as they were in India when the accident took place. Call Vikram as Dad as Maan and Vicky

Savitari Devi: She is our sweet loving daadi who loves her grandchildren a lot. She is a very modern lady who instead of holding up to the old rituals tries to blend them with the younger generations that why she is the World's Coolest Daadi.
