Part 1

Maan enters his room finally after much teasing from his friends and his brother's constant "All the bests". He was pissed off as all of the people surrounded him with him as he was some showpiece. All the daadi's friends pulling his cheeks as if it was his 6^th birthday and not his wedding day!!!

He slams the door hard after absorbing the condition of his room. As far as he remembered he told everyone not to decorate his room with flowers and all but his room looked like a flower shop with double the amount of flowers needed. The whole floor covered with red and white rose petals and his bed with Flowers hanging and surrounding the bed from all its four sides. He then eased down a bit as he heard the tinkling of the bangles as he looked to his bride who was cladded in say what some 20 kilos dress with a huge veil on her face with her knees folded and her hands clutching them hard as he closed the door with such force. He figured out that she was shivering with the impact as her bangles moved. He calmed himself and let out a sigh as he saw the girl sitting their still shivering. He walks towards the bed and felt the girl lifting her head a little bit and scaring at him. He was not able to see her face and tried nothing to steal a glance on her as this was not the way he planned his life to be. He was still not able to digest the fact that he was married to this unknown girl whose face was just a mystery to him. His thoughts move back to the time when he returned from Shimla to home bringing with him the memories of the girl whom she loved the most in life... His Love!!! His Life!!! His Suhaani!!! And was told off by her father that they are going to India. He was not able to contain his happiness as he thought that his Dadi told his father about the girl he met in Shimla and wanted to marry but it was not the case... He was told that they are going to India to get him married to some GEET!!! With whom his marriage was fixed when he was a kid.

"But dad you cant do this to me!!!" Maan said with his voice conveying how much pissed he was

"You are my son and I have every right to take decisions about you!!!" His father said in his strict tone,

"But Dad I love someone else and there is no way I am gonna marry that girl whom I have never seen!!!" Maan said with his voice raising,

"There is no such thing as love... It will get away with time... And you know Geet very well... She was your best friend since you were 5!!!" His father said,

"Dad!!! She WAS my friend and its been 18 years since I have seen her!!! I cant marry her" Maan said,

"You will marry Geet... She is the perfect girl for this family who knows customs and traditions of this family very well" His father said,

"Dad please give Suhaani a chance!!! I am sure she would prove herself perfect for our family" Maan said trying to convince his father,

"Maan the decision has been taken and no one else would become eldest daughter-in-law of Khurana's!!!" His father announced,

"Fine dad!!! Make her you eldest daughter-in-law... But remember!!! She would never be my wife... That right belonged to the only girl I loved!!!" Maan said and walked out!!!

Maan came out of his thoughts as he heard the bangles tinkling again. He saw that his bride was sitting on the bed and was rubbing her arms as if she was feeling tired,

"I think you should get change... The dress seems to be very heavy!!!" Maan said to Geet while she just nodded. She gets up from the bed and passes Maan to go to the washroom when her foot twists on the centerpiece which she did not noticed and falls in Maan's arm with her palla moving off her face and revealing her face to him!!!

Maan and Geet both at same time scream, "TUM!!!"
