Kabir had been waiting for a call from the Raichands for a few days but he was disappointed it wasn't by the person he's been expecting. It was Lux inviting him over at their place and not Lexie. He felt small and shallow inside. He'd laid his heart out in the open for Lexie and she wasn't even interested in him. It stung to feel unwanted. Didn't she want him anymore or had she moved on to an older much more experienced kind of a guy. Sidharth Dobrial wasn't the type of guy he'd expected Lexie to fall for but what was he expecting really? He hated not knowing the outcome of their doomed relationship. Kabir didn't want to put Lux in a tight corner by making him spill on the delio with his sister. Lux had mentioned they were going through a rough patch at the moment with Lux's illness and Lexie's own insecurities. He respected Lux's honesty. He was a good friend. Lux had mentioned Lexie was out for the day with Abhay although Kabir was a little wary about this fact. It seems as if Lexie had intentionally been avoiding him making sure she was out when he drops by or was he simply paranoid? Kabir parked his mercedes car at the Raichands front entrance. He was about to knock on the door when Pari had opened it. These friends of his were very strange.
Kabir nodded at Pari handing her the flowers he'd brought with him-"These are for U guys. To make a quick recovery. I also brought in some ginger beer and some ordinary ones for Lux in case he's up for some fun."
Pari took the flowers off of Kabir-"They smell so good. They're really for Lexie right? Lux isn't ito flowers. Neither is Abhay. I'm not ill so it leaves only one person."
Kabir gave a meagre little guilty look-"Either way she belongs in your household so technically its for U all. (Kabir clears his throat) Where is Lux anyway?"
Pari moved aside-"He's playing bideo games on Wii. Go on in and do something a little more creative than stay in all day. He's been cooped up here all day. Make sure its nothing too strenuous or too boisterous."
Kabir waved at Lux shouting out a little too loud for Lux-"Lux dude! Long time no see. I'm missing U back at my place. It's taking a little time to adjust to hanging out on my own now."
Lux gave Kabir a touch up with the fists-"I hope U don't mind but will U keep your voice a little down. My heads still sore. Anyway i need some male company. The girls are sweet, (Lux carefully takes a little look over his shoulder towards Pari) but they sure can get on your nerves with their smothering. In my case i have both girls and Haseena all over me. They are simply too over protective. I feel like a small cub."
Kabir checked Lux's forehead for a fever-"The girls have been good to U so don't knock it. U can return the favour some time when they are down. See how they like it."
Lux offered Kabir the second Wii stick-"Lets have a one on one fight off."
Kabir declined his offer placing the wii stick down-"No. I'm afraid i'm a little rusty and i've been warned to go easy on U."
Lux moaned-"By who? Pari. She's a big softy. She won't mind."
Pari came round with some lemonade placing it down on the table in front. She sternly commanded waving her hand for them to give her their toy -"I won't mind what? Now hand the weapons over. They are ruining your mind. U are not going to pollute Kabir's with this now do something productive."
Lux sulked handing over his wii-"U can't do thsi Pari. Uare so mean."
Pari shut the Tv off and walked away-"Now behave Lux or i'll have to babysit U again. Kabir he's in your hands. Make sure he doesn't over work himself. He's still a little weak."
Lux moaned like a child-"Am not."
Pari shot back-"Are too! Now when i come back i want your glass's empty and U doing as your told."
Lux complied-"Yes mother."
Kabir couldn't help laughing at Lux as soon as Pari was out of the main room-"She really is a force to be reckoned with. U didn't even put up a fight. U must be really sick or really cute. I can't belive how soft U are with her."
Lux shrugged his shoulders then took his drink and gulped it down-"I might show i'm tough but to my sister's i can never be so cold towards them. I know how much they like this sort of stuff but i hate it. I'll do what they want for peace and it makes me feel good putting a smile on their face."
Kabir finished his drink-"Awe Lux. You're letting your street cred slip. Your secrets safe with me. So what are we planning on doing?"
Lux mused playfully-"Paint the town red. Go wild and party."
Kabir frwoned-"I love my life Lux i'm not risking me neck for U bro.The girls would kill me first and then gag U next."
Lux smiled-"Just hang out the back. I need some fresh air. We can play basket ball."
Kabir unsure of this idea-"I don't want to make U weak bro. U need your strength."
Lux grinned-"I'll be fine. I promise i won't go hyper."
Kabir raced Lux out the back letting Pari know where he was headed. She was busy in the Kitchen doing the household chores and generally tiding up. She got a text from Lexie ordering her to call Piya over with Sid. They wanted Piya distracted while they set the outside area. Pari had texted back telling Lexie about Kabir being over spending some time with Lux. S
