:::Precap 42:::April Fools:::

April Fools Day was the only day when most people were often forgiven for telling a few white lies. It was the day most of their peers had played stupid pranks on each other. Misha was always the top dog at pulling people's chain. Misha woke up to see her room filled with pink on one side and purple on the other side. What the hell? She rubbed her eyes. She started squinting then shrieked out loud screamingMisha-"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH"

Madhoo, Arnab and Panchi ran in her room-"What is it?"

Misha pointed at the walls stammering with fury and shock-"Who did this to my haven? Who is sick of living? It's all pink!!!!!!!!!"

Madhoo burst out lauging-"If you're looking at someone to kill then i suggest U look at the mirror."

Misha threw her covers on the floor in anger-"Stop being cryptic Mom. Who the hell is in the mirror?"

Panchi still laughing filming the whole thing on her mobile-"Stop being such a drama queen Mish!"

Misha stood up looking at the mirror. She made a frown-"I don't see anyone but me."

Arnab chuckled-"Don't U remember last night Mish? U were high on bhang. U wanted a change, so U had your friends makeover your room."

Misha stomped her feet whinging-"And U let me?"

Arnab gave a sullen look with his voice wavering a little-"I learnt a long time ago to avoid all conflict with girls and women. I'm outnumbered in this house as it is. I don't have a death wish. I'm running late for work thanks to this nonsense. This change is good Misha. Now maybe my grungy little girl will behave more like a girl and less like a tomcat."

Misha chased after Panchi around the house-"Why U? Birdie how could U film your baby little sister in my fragile condition? Can't U see i'm traumatized?"

Panchi shouted out-"It's not everyday The Dobrial's get to witness such an iconic event like this."

Misha complained to her Mom-"Everyone is picking on me! I can't believe my own family would do this to me."

Panchi stuck her tongue out-"It's just deserts little sis for all the times you've pulled a prank on us."

Misha sulked hugging her Mom reverting in her childlike manner-"Mom! You'll help me get my room sorted?"

Madhoo hugged her daughter back patting her rubbing her cheek gently acting all mumsy-"Oh my baby. U made this mess U clean it up. Mom's not lifting a finger."

Misha went to get herself freshened up and headed down to see Panchi on the computer uploading the vid she'd made on Utube-"What f**k? Birdie my own sister. A Judas! This will forever haunt me."

Piya entered the Dobrial house in her usual bubbly smile normally made Misha cheer up but this time couldn't diffuse Misha's mood. Piya wondered what all the commotion was about. She headed towards the computer area to notice the video link and started laughing at Misha's response. She quickly covered her mouth to contain her involuntary outbursts of laughter. Panchi showed Misha Lux's facebook page with loads of uploaded vid on Misha's antics on Holi night.

Misha's eyes widened at her horrific antics with her hand over her mouth-"I actually did all this. Proclaiming my love for Lux in front of U guys. I look like a joker. (Misha held her hands on her head). I did my own little dance number too and U guy's all heard my bathroom singing. Why doesn't the ground just swallow me up now?"

Piya rubbed Misha's shoulders in a gentle motions-"It isn't as bad as U think. It's funny Misha. Be a good sport and let it rub off your shoulder. It's good fun. U let your hair down."

Misha moaned-"I'm a laughing stock. It will spiral out to all my Uni mates."

Piya reassured Misha-"No it won't Lux doesn't have many friends on Facebook. Look theres only a handful of people."

Misha stated-"But his family back home will see all this. They won't like me."

Piya rocked Misha back and forth comforting her-"So this is what's bothering U? Lux's folks will love U despite yoyr crazy antics. His sisters already love U silly girl. Now crack a smile for me before U crack a few mirrors."

Panchi hugged her sister back with Piya-"U are too much Misha. This was done in good jest and you've made this into a big storm. My crazy sister."

Misha gave a light smile-"Lux is so going to die at my hands. I can't believe he did this all meticulously like i'd do this."

Piya added playfully-"U both think alike what did U expect? All of us were in on it. Are we forgiven?"

Misha stood up pretending to be cross with Panchi and Piya-"I'll forgive U. Now that i've got this out of my system i can enjoy this day. "

Piya-"Good. That's my girl."

Panchi got her bag off her desk-"I gotta dash. New boss is arriving and i want to make a big impression. Wish me luck!"

Piya beamed-"All the best. Take care."

Panchi nodded-"Will do! Misha U behave. Don't give Lux a hard time. I like him."

Misha gave a shy look-"Me tto. Good Look Birdie. Knock his socks off."

Panchi-"Will do. Have fun."

As soon as Panchi left Piya had told her about getting married to Abhay she didn't trust her. It felt as if this were a trick.

Piya was excited about her news byt Misha wasn't taking her seriously-"Misha it's the truth. I wanted to tell U guys first so that you all give me some moral support."

Misha was dumbfounded-"Shut up Piya! Shut up! This is a little fast even for U. It's absurd you'd want to tie yourself down now. U have the rest of your life. Is Abhay pressurizing U? Its preposterous that you'd even consider this. Is this for some other reason? Are U pregnant? "

Piya went on the defensive-"Misha how could U think such a thing? Abhay and I haven't gone past the kissing stage yet." Piya's mind already started racing at such a thought. How did a vampire???Perish the thought. Piya didn't want to know yet.

Misha watched Piya's colour change. Misha gave Piya a gentle push with her shoulders '"Oh my god you're thinking about it aren't U?"

Piya wanted to wipe Misha's silly grin on her face. It was annoying her-"Just shut up Misha. You're making this difficult for me right now."

Misha had her arms around Piya now giving her a mischievous wink-"You'd be perfect as a couple and who know's maybe even better in the bedroom?"

Piya's face reddened a little more. In her lowest voice Pia managed-"Misha!!!!!"

Misha stopped her teasing mode-"Ok i've had my fun. U are so easy to get to Piya and your face is a picture. U want my opinion na?"

Pia anxiously nodded-"It would mean the world too me Misha. You're my sister. My best friend. I need to know how U feel about this?"

Misha kept silent for a few minutes with her finger tapping against her mouth area-"I think it's how U feel that counts to hell with the world. U love Abhay. He loves U. You'd be blind not to notice this."

Pia hugged Misha. Both girls beaming with joy-"Now i know i have your blessing i can go ahead with this. Please keep this between us. Abhay's family already know about this. I want it strictly between us."

Misha promised-"My lips are sealed. I'm so excited."

Pia was biting her lips-"I'm a little apprehensive. Abhay's so preoccupied with some stuff he's dealing with. I don't know if the times right."

Misha gave her take-"Life's a b***h Piya. There's never a right time when U think about it. So just go with the flow."

Pia and Misha headed out to Uni where a whole lot of pranks kicked off. All the students managed to get the day off thanks to one special hacker in the class. She was a new student called Dhiya. Dhiya Jaiswal. Her Father was the University trustee so she got enrolled due to his influence. She was a whizz kid from what Piya had heard from the grapevine. She was her cousin. Her uncle Pravin's daughter. Was her father going to discipline his daughter or what. That too on her first day. Piya had tried to talk to her but was unsuccessful. Dhiya only stared back at Piya but made no effort to greet her. Her father had lectured her into this damn place. It would broaden her horizon apparently.

Kabir saw Misha and ducked behind Piya-"You're not on the warpath right?"

Misha rolled her eyes at Kabir-"No need to cower behind Piya, Kabir. U are completely safe. I commend your collective thinking. But i reign supreme at the pranks master."

Kabir replied back-"I doubt it. The new girl is mindblowing. She has the same surname as Piya right? She related to U?"

Piya nodded-"Yeah. I didn't know i had family till recently. She's my uncle's daughter."

Misha wanted to size the girl up but decided against it now she'd learnt of the girls connection with Piya-"U want to invite her to our little gang?"

Piya was hesitant-"I don't know. I think we should play it by ear. I don't know if she even want to be around me."

Misha egged Piya on-"Just say Hi or something."

Piya saw Abhay and his family heading in their direction-"Maybe later on. She seems p****d. Her father can rub U up the wrong way sometimes. Let her settle in the next day."

Abhay gave his breathtaking dazzling smile to Piya; kissing her forehead-"Is everyone in good spirits today?" With his eyes firmly on Misha.

Misha directed her fake anger at Lux-"Yes no thanks to someone here! i can't believe U guys did this to me. Or shall i say let me do this? I want my room in order. This is the second time you've messed with my stuff. If U value your life Lux you'll heed my warning."

Lux took Misha in his arms and gave her a cute grin mirroring Abhay's-"Or you'll do what?"

Misha wanted to resist Lux's million dollar smile but he was damn cute when he teased her with his voice in such a hypnotic manner. God he was so sexy-"I'll think about it!"

Lux kissed Misha's cheek-"U do that. By the way your declaration last night was so sweet. I think i prefer her more than U."

Misha playfully hit Lux's arm-"You're running on thin ice."

Lux held his hands up-"I surrender. Theres no payback right? I don't think i can take any more pranks. We've got the day off lets go chill before the tutors find out this is a scam."

Pari agreed-"Lets bail. We don't want Mr Jaiswal catching us trying to escape. Your cousin is one cool chick. How did she manage to wire the computer systems?"

Piya hushed her friends-"We don't want her to get in trouble. If people talk that's it. Her Dad is U know?"

Pari got the hint-"Ok lets get out of here."

Lexie had to get out of here. something bad was back. She'd felt it. He wanted to harms her family. He had joined forces with Maya. Her dark powers had grown to the extent that she could feel the presence of other vampires. If only she could see who this jack a** was. All Lexie saw was a dark figure. His powers were off the rector scle. Lexie thanked her lucky stars she'd gone down this path. She had to get help from someone. She needed a baby sitter. She was petrified of being taken over by the Darkling. It fed on rage and power. Her weakest moment would be when she'd peaked. Then all sense went out the window. Pari would only make matters worse. Abhay would never allow her to take such a step. Lux already suspected. The only person she could truely turn to was Sidharth, Piya's brother. She decided to give him an SOS through her mental connection.

Kabir interrupted Lexie-"U coming Lex?"

Lexie made an excuse-"I'm supposed to meet Sid. He has a problem i need to fix for him."

Piya grew concerned-"Is it?"

Lexie nodded-"We have this project. He needs advice so i'll meet U guys later?"

Kabir kissed Lexie-"I love U."

Lexie-"So do I Kabir. I'll see U later."

Abhay held Piya's hand connecting a mind link- (What's on your mind Piya?)

Piya's eyes wondered towards Dhiya-(Do U think she hates me?)

Abhay shed some light on Piya-(Nobody could hate U Piya. U are special. Give her time. I know you're a little conscious of this new family reunion but look how far you've gotten with Sid and Misha. Even Panchi loves U like a sister. Is this all?)

Piya lied-(Yeah but Abhay saw her fears spread to Lux and Sid's little dilemma. Lexie going off to meet Sid had made Piya distressed)Abhay leave my thoughts. I need to see this through.

Abhay was troubled by this sick feeling he had at the pit of his stomach. He knew something was off. Someone was cloaking themselves from him. If he'd had been powerful he would've spotted them right away. Damn. He hated it when he felt so restless. He didn't want Piya to read his mood.

Sidharth was already at the woods with Shiv. He'd given him tips on finding a haven for tonight. This was the night both he and Lux had dreaded. The night of the full moon. The thought of Lexie seeking him out had softened his discomfort. Shiv had reminded him to make sure he was chained up with silver. A hard task but Abhay had plenty in the mansion.
