The sound of the girls emerging out of their deep slumber. They quickly searched for Lux to see if he'd made it through the night. Lexie ran straight into her brothers arms giving him the tightest bear hug she could give him. Pari joined in. Good job Lux had regained all his strength and then some.

Lux laughed at his sister's reaction as if he were about to vanish-"Will U let go of my now Lil sis.Are U trying to kill me with a hug overload? I don't think i can survive this ambush from the two of U."

Lexie smacks her brother playfully eyeing him closely with her tears spilling to the floor-"Never scare me like that again! I don't know what i'd do without U."

Pari gave Lux a stern look-"Bro don't U dare. After the night we've had we all deserve a little hug here and there. So deal with it."

Lux grinned-"I get it. Glad to see i'm wanted by my sisters. Now girls let go of me now. You're cutting off my blood supply."

Both girls let go of Lux. They saw the miraculous recovery Lux had made in record time. Lux couldn't hide his real fears from the girls. They read him too well. Lux could tell its what scared them the most now. He'd remembered the whole nightmare all too well. His memory was super sharp as were his senses. For the first time Lux appreciated how much Abhay had sheltered them all away from this dark path. Most of the visions Lux shared with Abhay had been of the hardships Abhay had faced along with the guilt and loneliness. it was surreal having someone elses memories in his head. He could understand Abhay all too well now. The man had suffered too much for the sake of Love. Or was it obsession? The powers were a plus side but this whole need to suck the life out of another human was beginning to take over. Lux watched his sisters intently. He could see them in a clearer vision as if he had some super X-ray kind of view. He knew how both smelt like it wasn't something he ever noticed before but now those sense overtook the basic human instincts. He could scruitinize every little detail around him.

Lexie-"Lux this change has made U more alluring i'd say. The vampire side has already kicked in hasn't it?"

Lux-"Yeah. It's the greatest feeling in the world but it's so overwhelming. These strange sensations. The need for blood. Listening to everyone's heartbeat including my own. I didn't think i'd ever be alive but this makes me feel invincible. I understand Abhay much better."

Lexie understood-"He did sire U. U know i had no choice Lux but to put U through this?"

Lux-"Quit worrying lil sis leave that to me. I'd have made the same decision had the shoe been on the other foot. I wouldn't want to join a wolf pack. I've heard about their loyalty to their leader and i follow nobody but my own tune."

Pari hesitates while enquiring-"So U wanna suck the life outta something?"

Lux-"Yeah but i can control it for now."

Lexie-"The next phase may not be so great. The wolf gene kicking in will be a toughie. We'll help U adjust."

Lux heard Piya awake-"Girls i think one of U should go check up on Piya. She is freaking out upstairs."

Pari-"I'll go. U stay here with him. where's Abhay?"

Lux-"I made him take off. Didn't want Piya to be scared of him or us."

Pari nodded-"Good idea. I don't think it helped much with Lexie going over to the dark side. Her eyes were black from all the hocus pocus."

Lux groaned-"Great Lexie U didn't? U know what that stuff does to us!"

Lexie defiant-"I did what i had to. The power of three was broken where was i suppose to draw the power from? I don't give a damn how dark i go."

Lux grabs hold of Lexie's arm tightly-"Lexie U better be messing with me. This isn't U."

Pari-"Both of U we can deal with this later. Piya remember!"

Lexie forced her arm off Lux-"Pari make sure Sid is nowhere near his sister. I don't think she's ready for him yet."

Pari upstairs. She heard Piya's anguished screams. Pari with Piya who is literally shaking with dread in her eyes in the bathroom sobbing her eyes out. Pari took Piya to the bedroom and made her calm down.

Pari softly holding Piya steady-"Piya! Piya look at me. (Piya reluctantly looks at Pari) Stop this ranting and raving. The nightmare is over now. Shhhhhhhh. (Pari rocks her back and forth in an embrace) U are safe."

Piya begins to recover her emotional state still shaking-"Abhay! He's a vampire! He kept this from me. I'm in love with a vampire! It can't be. He can't be a monster. He can't be the devil in disguise Pari. All this time the truth was staring me in the face and i chose to ignore it. What are U people? Who are U people?"

Pari knew this was going to be fun she thought to herself sarcastically-"Piya we haven't lied about who we are at all. U know Lux, Lexie and I are all from a Wiccan dynasty. Its all true but we have kept Abhay's secret from U. What did U want us to tell U? By the way the man U are dating is a very old vampire who never ages and has great-great-great put on more great grandchildren. That he accidently killed the love of his life at a village ambush on him. one wher his Love Maithali tried to save him from but he snapped and killed the entire villagers. You've read the journals Piya U know how the rest follows."

Piya hysterically starts laughing-"I'm going crazy. That has to be it! Its all a figment of my imagination. The man i fell in love with couldn't be him. He couldn't be a demon. The undead."

Pari soothes Piya down-"Piya what does your mind tell U?"

Piya truthfully-"To run! Runaway from all of U."

Pari could relate. Hell she wanted to bail-"What does your heart tell U?"

Piya still crying-"To run into Abhay's arms and stay there forever. But my mind can't forget the images it saw. Of Abhay's everchanging eyes. Those fangs. His face was so hypnotic yet frightening at the same time. His screams were not of this world. It was so surreal. Like in the movies. I can't forget it. It's been replaying over and over in my head. All i see are his eyes and his teeth."

Pari-"U need time to digest this all. It's understandable what you're going through which is why Abhay is keeping his distance. He doesn't want to cause U any more grief than he has already put U through. He's burning too Piya. He has been for the last 600 years. Its not been easy for him. you'll never know what he's faced Piya. The thought of losing U haunts him even now. I know U are taking this in now. The aftershock is too much for U but to a vampire its all heightened. If U think you've got it bad with the whole nightmares U haven't seen nothing yet! You've never lost Abhay. But he's lost U three times Piya. Three times. Now he faces losing U again. In time U will accept Abhay for what he is. I know his transformation scared the living daylights out of U but he never once attacked U. Remember this he brought the monster out to save U Piya."

Piya absorbed Pari rationalizing this from Abhay's perspective-"Is that why he was avoiding this whole secret? Putting it off."

Pari nodded-"Piya it wasn't our secret to tell. I know he hid this from U but U already kind of knew in your heart of hearts U already knew what he was. the journals gave away everything then to top it off U were reliving all this in your dreams. Your past lives. U know what happened in your last birth right? U went crazy because Abhay left U to be with Maya the b***h Abhay hated the most all for U but she wasn't satisfied by his sacrifice. She wanted U dead. It's her purpose for living Piya to make Abhay suffer. Don't make this easy for her to destroy Abhay. Don't let her take away Abhay from U again. I know this is hard to comprehend but try."

Piya was taking on board everything Pari had told her. Abhay did try to save her-"Where's Sid?"

Pari-"He's in the other room. I'm guessing overhearing everything we've just said."

Piya-"Is it true?"

Pari-"Yeah he is your brother i'm afraid. Half brother in fact he knew all about U and is working on getting U where U belong."

Piya-"Thanks Pari for being here for me. I know i must look like a right b***h."

Pari-"U coming downstairs?"

Piya-"In a while i need to fix myself up. I don't know if i can face Abhay yet."

Pari-"Just take baby steps Piya thats all we ask."

Piya-"How's Lux?"

Pari-"He's not human but he's not a wolfie either or a vampire. See for yourself."

Piya went back to the bathroom to wash her face. Both She and Pari headed out the door to find Sid in the middle of the hallway. He tried to avert his eyes as if he were an innocent bystander.

Piya saw Sid in a new light-"So i take it your my long lost half brother!"

Sid smiled-"Yeah that's me the one and only brother you'll ever have."

Piya didn't see any resemblance there at all-"Misha and Panchi are my sisters?"

Sid beamed-"Yup!"

Piya-"You're turning into a werewolf?"

Sid-"Yes! Does that scare U?"

Piya truthfully-"Yes. Do the others know. U know the family?"

Sid-"Dad does but he's in denial. The others no. I'd rather keep it this way till i learn to accept this knew phase i'm going through."

Piya-"I don't want the others to know about who i am. Misha, Panchi, Mr Dobrial. I have my reasons for this."

Sid-"Mom already know the truth Piya. Dad's already on the case."

Piya-"Well he better come up empty handed because I hate him."

Sid-"Ditto sis but Misha and Panchi deserve to know."

Piya-"I could say the same for your little secret. Just keep this buried."

Sid-"The truth has a way of coming out. Take this whole vampire werewolf s**t."

Piya shivered at the mention of this-"Don't remind me."

Pari-"If your done with the mini family reunion i suggest we go downstairs and just chill. Ok."

Downstairs they join Lexie and Lux who are still bickering over Lexie's use of dark magic. As soon as they see Piya they shut up. They were drinking coffee.

Piya was wary of Lux-"Where's Abhay?"

Lux-"He bolted in case U went berserk. He said he was going to University to finish up on some experiments he had going. U weren't exactly screaming with joy last night he didn't want to give U a heart attack seeing his ugly mug in the morning."

Piya was ashamed of the way she'd reacted. She knew it was over the top-"Oh. How are U feeling?"

Lux-"As good as knew."

Piya didn't buy it-"I want the truth Lux. Don't sugar coat it."

Lux-"Scared but i'll survive. I take after Abhay's side of the family. Pure fighters."

Lexie was reading Piya's mental state. She was a little better than last might. Pari had a calming influence on her-"How are U Piya?"

Piya-"Like the biggest loser on the planet. I'm bearing up now thanks to Pari making me see straight."

Lexie-"Our Pari has that effect."

Piya-"How are U coping with all this madness"

Lexie harshly hisses-"Just dandy i want to snap that b****'s head off."

Piya nodded with her arms folded in a defensive manner-"U and me both."

Lexie-"U must be hungry?"

Piya refused food she wasn't hungry-"Lux thanks for saving my life i owe U my gratitude. I'm sorry i caused all this. I didn't know. U should have just let me die."

Lux-"Piya i'd never do that. Its not in our blood to let an innocent die. Abhay would never have let U go like that and neither would any of us. Your part of the family now even if U choose not to be a part of us you'll always be close to us. I'm getting all sentimental now. I think U get my point Piya."

Piya knew all too well. She accepted Abhay's family as hers. They all came in a package. It didn't change how she felt for any of them. Now that she had some time to think Abhay was still Abhay to her. But his face. She couldn't forget it.

Lexie-"Piya if it makes it easier try to remember Abhay as the man U love. The same feature only he has a darker nature and bury it at the back of your mind. It will take some adjusting to i get it but trust me Abhay has only ever loved U Piya and nothing has ever changed that. The love U both share is so great not even death has the power to separate U for good. U keep coming back for Abhay. And U always will. It's just one of those miraculous bond ever created by God. U remember all the past lives and how it felt to be loved. Then how it felt to lose it again. Do U really want Abhay gone? Because if U did he'd disappear just like that for U. The decision is all yours."

Piya didn't want that-"I don't want Abhay to ever leave me Lexie. I needed someone to help me straighten myself out. U know get this psychosis in order. Thanks for not coming down on me with a tonne of bricks i know i deserved it. Lux i'm so sorry for what i've done to U."

Lux-"Its fine all water under the bridge now. We just need to wait till Abhay come back. Do U want to go anywhere? I can give Kabir a call."

Piya-"No. I'll wait here for Abhay! If i were U i'd give Misha a call she's probably worried about U."

Lux-"I'm not ready to call her yet. She's one of those people who makes my head spin as it is. I might be fine but i have a few issues with U know Blood!"

Piya understood-"Misha's blood will probably sing to U like mine does to Abhay in a previous lifetime."

Lux nodded-"Something to do with attraction makes it all the more harder for Vamps and wolves to keep relations with humans impossible. Whatever i am i'm sure the rules apply the same way if not worse. I can't risk hurting Misha."

Sid down the hallway-"U got that right. I want U away from Misha."

Piya wanted to hit her new found brother-"Like i want U to stay the hell away from me!"

Sid shook his head flicking his hair out the way from his eyes-"No can do sis! U are a Dobrial by blood. Us Dobrial men stick up for family!"

Piya shot back moving towards Sid limping. Then pointing her finger at his chest-"Please i could give a s**t about the Dobrial men. He deserted my mother. Me and U have the nerve to give out orders. I don't need protecting Sid. I can handle that all on my own. I've managed the last 18 years on my own."

Sid saw the rage in Piya's eyes starting to build up-"Piya don't take it out on Me. I want to be there for U. I want to be a brother to U. I want to be there for U. After last night U need protecting from vampires and even Abhay."

Piya bellowed-"Don't U dare! I don't need U Sid. It was Abhay's family who came to protect me against their very best judgement. It was Abhay who risked his very being trying to protect me against one of your kind."

Sid glared back-"The head wolf doesn't know me and neither do i know who he is."

Piya-"That's my point Sid. Werewolves and Vampires. They are all a threat to me. But Abhay and his kin pose no harm to me so U get on your way and look out for the sisters U already have. This sister here doesn't need U and will never need U."

Sid tries to hold Piya by the arm but Lux gets in the way. Lux-"I think U should leave."

Sid-"No way am i leaving her with U."

Lux-"Piya is free to go if she want to. We will not stop her."

Piya-"I want U to leave Sid. I can't deal with U. Abhay. My life is so complicated as it is. Just let me deal with this on my own terms. Please leave before i say something i might regret."

Sid-"Piya fine have it your way but this brother is always here for U whether U want it or not. Just give me a holler anytime of the day." (Sid left the Raichand's slamming the door behind him)

Piya-"Thanks Lux. I really can't deal with him right now."
