Abhay's clan begin to mix in with the ganf. Lexie already knew the full story behind this new set of people she'd met as did Pari. Lux was still his broody self. Piya could see where it came from at times Lux had the same features as Abhay depending on the angle and if Lux was brooding with his shoulders up. Abhay had that same stance. The same stature. Their mannerisms were identical. The was a cold vibe between the two guys that was obvious. Abhay seemed hurt by this while Luc acted as if this didn't bother him. Like Abhay was being punished for some crime.
Lux-"So what's with that chick? Did she get on someone's nerves or steal someone else's boyfriend?"
Pari shot him a look-"U can be so insensitive at times. Sorry about him he was adopted at birth."
Misha-"The girl had issues with her fella who is two timing on her. He is engaged to some unknown person in College."
Lux-"One of those huh? Just curious thats all."
Panchi raged angrily while Danish held her still-"The psycho needs to taste his own medicine. The bloody freak. I wanna kill the guy myself."
Danish calms Panchi down-"Relax baby. Don't stress yourself out. She's being treated in hospital. We need to be positive for her sake and not curse the guy. Focus on her."
Piya-"Where were U Danish? Before all this happened."
Danish taken aback-"With Panchi. We came to invite the teachers." Piya looks at him in suspicion.
Piya shifts her attention to Abhay's family-"U guy's are here long or is this a social visit?"
Pari-"We've transferred here. Today actually. See we have business to attend her. Abhay being here made the move easier."
Lexie mischievously tells Piya -"We have a lot to catch up on U know. I'm not sure if Piya will like sharing Dada i mean Abhay with us."
Piya laughs-"U guy's are family. That makes your right over him more than mine. I can share him so long as U don't monopolize too much of his time away from me. I can deal with that."
Misha-"Piya U got a lot of competition girl but U got us right? With us U gut nothing to worry about. We will fix Abhay into shape if he messes around too much."
Abhay looks seriously at the group-"U people sure have my number don't U?"
Piya looks sheepishly at Lexie and Pari-"I must admit i was a little territorial with Abhay. U girls being all over him didn't bring the best side of me. I thought U had a thing for him. All the Uni girls do but he's too modest to admit this fact."
Lexie-"Trust me when we set our sight on men we get them. Abhay as sick as it is to admit it. He is U know. Piya i can't bring myself to say it."
Pari-"Gorgeous. What can we say it's in our genetic make up. We did get the gene from him after all."
Lexie-"Share the same gene pool. U know."
Misha-"Is he always so uptight? Dude needs to Chillax man."
Pari-"He ended up with the babysitting duties one he's not pleased with. It's not like we need him. He has the hero complex like Da Abhay. It's the guy thing in our family. Drives us girls crazy."
Kabir eagerly chips in-"So U need the tour or can U find the place OK."
Both Abhay and Lux in unison-"I'm sure they will be fine! They have us." Both men stare at the other daggers flying towards each other.
Pari and Lexie-"See what we mean."
Piya and Misha laugh. They head towards the admin office to register their names with proof of identity. The process didn't take long. . They went towards their first session of the day Business. Abhay was silent throughout the class as were Lux, Lexie and Pari. They were tuned in with one another. He was having a silent conversation with his clan despite Lux's objection. He didn't want any involvement in Abhay's life. He was only here for the girls. He'll be damned if anything were to happen to them. He flashed that thought in Abhay's mind screaming at him with immediate effect. Lexie shot her brother a warning and zapped at his mind to reel his anger. Lux gave her a smirk. Nobody was aware of their silent interaction among each other.
In the mind of Abhay, Lux, Lexie, Pari
Abhay took charge of what was going on with Maya's entrance which was inevitable. She wasn't going to go away. abhay was certain of her involvement. Maya had always found perfect timing to disturb the peace. There was always the calm before the storm. This time Abhay had his family on his side. They were powerful enough to take on any force. He'd seen it for himself. Pari was all too willing to help the legendary black sheep of the family. Their grimoires (Book of Shadows) were full information on how to combat Vampires, Werewolves, Fairies, Ghosts, Demons, Banshees and Dark witches with their spells and potions. Abhay was present to help the family with the dangers. Besides Lexie wanted a happy ending for her Dada. He deserved it. Family were sacred to them.
Lexie-We got most of the herbs we need. Pari has taken on the charms while Lux is there to boost our strength if we need brawn.
Pari-This time we will get her Dada. U take care of Piya.
Lux-Don't strain yourself Lover boy. Get the girls fighting your battles while U rest Old man.
Lexie-That is enough Laxman. These digs are getting old. U don't have anything good to say then don't say anything. We can handle it.
Lux-Don't call me Laxman.
Pari-Then cool it with the cheap shots.
Lux-Fine.
Lexie-He didn't mean that. He's just being protective like U persuading us otherwise despite all the training you've given us.
Pari-He heard your call and assumed it was all your idea. He's got a good heart.
Lux-I'm here U know.
Lexie-Well U are too stubborn to apologize so it's up to us to keep the peace.
Lux angrily shoots back-Oh i'll keep the peace so long as he keeps his distance.
Abhay could see anger in his mind. He would find a way to ease Laxman-Deal. Just promise me U will all be vigilant and your safety comes before mine or Piya's.
Lexie and Pari-Fine old man but U make sure Piya is ready. Maya cannot touch Piya's blood. It is potent.
Abhay-Trust me don't i know the half of it.
Lexie-There's a small problem. We need the family heirloom that belongs with the Dobrials. It has sentimental values associated with Pia and her link with her mother. It's the real connection between mother and daughter Dada. U got to get it. We can call out to her soul to help us save Piya.
Abhay was stumped-Leave that with me. I'll have to get Misha to help us.
Lexie-One more dilemma.
Abhay-What's that?
Pari-Sid is on his way!
Abhay-Sid? Now who the hell is this?
Lux-Are U dumb or just acting dumb?
Lexie-Lax!
Lux-Fine. The Dobrial brother. Sidharth. He plays a big part in this. U broke a sacred rule not to cross that river. Now this is the price we pay. Well i mean U pay.
Abhay could see this all go pear shaped but he'd do what it took-We'll deal with the nuisance.
Lexie-He's not what he seems. He's cursed. Or whatever it is i can't see his path clearly. We can see Vampires because of our linage with U. The blood that flows through our veins does that. Witches because we are just that and humans as we share parents that are humans but his kind we've not come across one.
Pari-We must be cautious. He's arrival speels trouble for U and Piya. U know as much as we do the bloodline Piya and Sid share.
Lux-Well if the sucker (Both Pari and Lexie glare at him)Not U Da i mean Abhay Sid get's in my family's way i'll skin him.
Abhay smiled at Laxman's comments. Maybe there was hope for them after all so long as the door was still open. He had to show Laxman that he means them no harm he loves them a lot. They finish their lectures and meet up after Uni finishes. Piya joins them all. She noticed Abhay and Laxman were still not on speaking terms with the other. The only thing they had in common were the girls. Both were stuck in a rut. She wondered how long they were like this for. Abhay was a hard not to crack but he was soft on the inside. Maybe Laxman was made from the same mould. Hey he'd had a flock of girls on his tail already. T included. That girl would pounce anything with legs. First Abhay now him. She wondered what it was about this family that made her warm to them so easily. She felt like she'd known all three newcomers. Like family. It was really strange. Lexie and Pari eyed her with some respect. Something made Lexie's head turn. She smiled at Piya's thoughts. Sometime's she couldn't help it but listen on in peoples mind. Pia was an open book for Lexie. It took Lexie years to perfect her powers same with Pari but Piya had some oomph. The extra factor. Her soul was so colourful it only drew her further no wonder Abhay was transfixed with her. Old Soul's were targeted in their world for a heavy price. Anyone that comes across one had the chance to amplify their powers ten folds. Maya was unstoppable as it was. Abhay didn't need to tell the clan any of this. Any witch can track one down. They'd sense it. She could see Pari and Lux had cottoned on to this too. It blinded some parts in the brain. Abhay wouldn't sense this as his Wiccan powers were now dormant forever as his Vampire side took over.
Piya-"Do U have a place to stay? Are U staying with the Raichands?"
Lux-"That Khusat's house. Never the jaanwar would smell us out in a flat. I'd rather sleep with rats than there."
Piya-"They're eccentric i give U that but they can be very hospitable. I mean from what i've seen. Besides your family."
Lux-"Family my foot. I don't associate with filth."
Pari-"What my hot headed cousin is trying to say is we don't get on. We are different people completely."
Abhay-"My parents aren't really my parents. I'm adopted. In a way. My birth parents died a long time ago and Chand and Haseena didn't have children of their own so they took me in."
Lux-"That coz your like them. Raised in filth."
Piya found this hurtful-"Abhay is anything but filth. I can't believe U could say such things about him. He's been more than welcoming and U keep insulting him. Oh Abhay i didn't know about your parents. How can U keep me in the dark."
Lux-"U think this is dark U ain't seen nothing yet. The pictures still incomplete. Wait till U hear the million dollar question. Who is the real Abhay?"
Misha could hear Lux's tirade-"Cool it man. What are U on steroids? "
Lexie-"Keep your mouth shut bro i mean it or i'll make it shut."
Lux-"U wouldn't?"
Lexie-"Just U watch ro. U know i can. I will if need be."
Kabir-"If U guy's need a place to crash U can stay at mine. We have a huge mansion like Abhay's."
Lexie-"Abhay's already sorted us out with a dorm room with Piya while Lux has to separate from us and stay with the boy's hostel."
Kabir-"Well the offer still stands if U want it."
Lux-"U know what bro i might take U up on your offer."
Pari and Lexie eyes Lux suspiciously. They knew him very well.
Piya-"Well atleast we got this sorted now can we all go home? I need a little rest. My head is hurting with all this workload."
Panchi came to collect Misha and gave Piya, Lexie and Pari a lift to the girls hostel bonding on the way there. While Lux and Kabir headed their way. Lux wanted to keep a close eye on Kabir. He didn't like the way he looked at his sisters. Keep thy enemy closer that was his plan. Make sure the girls were safe. Abhay had decided he needed to check up on Sheila. Piyawanted to go but she was only just recovering from a cold. He didn't want her to see Sheila bruised up. He felt like she was his responsibility. He wanted the girl to syrvive. Get justice for the way she'd been treated.
Mount Dehradun Hospital ICU unit
Abhay slipped in fast. He had worried about Sheila. She took a heavy blow and her wrsits were badly cut. Whoever did this was the lowest creature he'd even known existed. He was worse than his own kind. Abhay entered the ICU unit and saw a lifeless Sheila laying on the bed. Her eyes were vacant tear stricken with grief. Abhay pitited the girl. He could see she was blindly in love with the animal that did this to her. She remained silent as Abhay saw her condition was stable looking at the hospital chart sheet. Her wrists were bandaged up. Sheila's afce drained of blood. She had an IV running with glucose and with blood to replenish what she'd lost. Abhay wanted to help the girl get on with her life. Move on from all this mess. She had to live. He didn't want her parents to go throught what his went through. ABhay saw Sheila's cut lip. How many blows did she get? It angered him to see Sheila in pain yet she was nothing to him.
Abhay tried to converse with Sheila-"How are U feeling Sheila inside?"
Sheila-"I lost the baby."She had a fresh collection of tears form and burst into a flood.
Abhay-"Sheila U can do this. We know U can. We are all with U."
Sheila-"Abhay look in this room. Not one person has bothered to turn up but U why? I'm cheap trash that let some guy walk all over me. Use me, abuse me, kill the one thing i cherished because he didn't want his perfect life ruined by his bit on the sde only at the time i didn't know he was with someone else. My life is such a mess. I wish i would've died instead. Died with it. How can i face my family Abhay? With which face do i go with to see them."
Abhay-"it's not the end of the line Sheila. U have so much to live for. Your life is only beginning. Piya wanted to come. Her health has only just gotten better with her flu and workload. "
Sheila-"Abhay i'm such an evil person. I deserve this. "
Abhay-"Listen to me clearly. U did nothing wrong Sheila. U fell for the wrong guy happens to the best of us but its what U do now that counts. U have to put an end to this. U have to punish him. He's the real villain her not U. Save another life from being ruined. It's the least U can do. Then maybe U will feel better. Name him. That Rancid man needs taking down."
Sheila-"I can't Abhay he'll expose my secret to my parents."
Abhay-"I will help U. Panchi will help. The whole campus will be by your side."
Sheila-"He's from a powerful family Abhay. He works with a powerful family. I can't do this."
Abhay-"Very well U leave me no choice but to do this!" He starts to compel Sheila into revealing the truth.
Sheila-"It's Danish! He did this to marry Panchi and make himself part of the elite rich as a quick fix. She's marriage material and he won't quit playing the field nor will his greed stop there. He's willing to go the whole slog. He will take down anyone that crosses him."
Abhay-"See that wasn't so bad. Now to teack that punk a lesson he'll remember for the next seven lives."
