Hey guys,
i know that it has been ages since i updated. sorry for the late update. i'm trying to fit in the updating of this FF into my schedule so it may take some time.
So her is the next part. get ready for a very shocking fact in this FF as you read.


NOTE- the present is in maroonand past in green.

Armaan entered the college and searched for Nupur all over , but in vain. He soon gave up and settle down in the front lawn of the college. He looked in front to find a bush. He then looked more closely and realized that there was something glittering in the bush. Armaan went towards it and realized that it was a wrapped up present.

"Who would stuff a wrapped up present in a bush?", Armaan wondered.

He took it out with great difficulty. Just then Shilpa came there. She had outrun her friends and found Armaan sitting all by himself with a gift in his hand. She then noticed the ribbon from the present stuck to a branch in the book.

"Did you get that from the bush?", she asked Armaan.

Armaan looked at her and went speechless. Her silky her and perfect smile made his heart skip a beat and her blue tunic made her look irresistible .Armaan did not speak anything and just went on staring at her. On the other hand, Shilpa was lost in his eyes. Both of them simple didn't realize what was going on. Shilpa was the first one to come out of the trance. She noticed Armaan staring at her and she acted casual as she was used to so much attention.

"May I ?",she asked as she placed her hand on the gift.

Armaan simply nodded as he was still speechless. He had never seen anyone so beautiful before. Shilpa took the gift and figured out that it was her gift.

"I'm so glad that you found it.", Shilpa said."Could you do me a favour?"

"Why should I?", Armaan asked, speaking at last. He didn't even understand why he told that but he told what came to his mind.

"Because…", Shilpa said" If you help me I will do anything you want me to."

Shilpa wasn't used to being asked such a question. Usually boys did what she wanted cause they were crazy about her and girls follow her words to gain popularity and her brother would never let down anything Shilpa asked for.

"What do you want me to do?", Armaan asked.

Shilpa's friends caught up with her at last. They were heading towards Shilpa and Armaan.

"Please lie to my friends that I found this gift and not you, or else I will lose this bet and I have to pay them each 500 bucks", Shilpa pleaded.

"That shouldn't be hard.", Armaan thought as he observed her attire." you should be really rich"

He then noticed Shilpa's tensed face and decided to play along.

"Fine", he said.

Shilpa's friends were disappointed to know that they lost the bet and went away.

"Thank you so much…………", Shilpa said and drifted of as she didn't know his name.

"Armaan Mallik", Armaan said.

"Armaan", Shilpa repeated" I'm Shilpa. So what can I do for you in return for this favor."

"Nothing", Armaan said" I think you should just forget about it."

"But-", Shilpa started off.

"No buts. We are friend s right", Armaan said as he held out his hand to her.

"Sure", Shilpa said. She made a mental note to make it up to Armaan some how later.

"Could you show me around?", Armaan asked."I'm new here."

"Why not." Shilpa said."Come on."

And the two new friends started their story.

Nupur was sitting all by herself in the cafeteria with a head buried in a book . Though her eyes was on the book, she was upset about her fight with Mayank. She didn't expect to fight with anybody on her very first day. Just then a girl came up to her and took the seat opposite to her..

"Have you seen Mayank?", the girl asked her.

"Sorry, I'm new here", Nupur replied. She wasn't interested in talking to anyone anymore.

"Oh", the girl said."So you must be Nupur the new girl. I'm Ria Chauhan."

"You would have surely heard about me. People must be laughing at the way I went on talking to everybody around here.", Nupur said.

" just forget about them.", Ria said." they are just losers. You don't seem that bad. The girls are just scared that you will get Mayank going head over heels for you with this look and attitude. Talking about Mayank, have you seen him?"

" I told you Ria, I'm new here.", Nupur repeated.

"That's no excuse for not knowing who Mayank is. Even if you have been here only for a second you are sure to know who Mayank Sharma is. He is the coolest hottest guy of this college. Every girl goes head over heels for him and all the boys are jealous of him. He is the most wanted hot football player ever."

" Football?", Nupur said.

" Yeah, he must be practicing right now.", Ria said.

" oh. You mean that hot headed freak.", Nupur said." I don't understand from which angle he looks hot."

" You are the first girl to tell something like this about Mayank. Looks like someone interrupted Mayank's practice."

" I'm new here. How am I supposed to know that I shouldn't interrupt his practice. Even when I was there he didn't seem interrupted until he decided to take a break or something."

"Well at least the girls don't have to worry about losing Mayank to you.", Ria said with a sigh of relief.

"More than other girls you seem to more worried that Mayank would take interest in me.", Nupur said. " Don't worry. He hates me as much as I hate him."

The two girls headed off to class.

The classroom was getting filled. In one corner Armaan and Shilpa were chatting away by themselves not bothered about the crowd around them. Ria went and sat next to Mayank.

" Hey Mayank. Is something wrong?", she asked.

"no.", Mayank " nothing."

" I heard about your fight with the new girl Nupur."

"It was nothing.", Mayank said.

"Just remember that if you want to talk about it I'm always there.", Ria said.

Just then Ranvijay entered the class. Unlike others he never missed a class and he sat next to Shilpa whenever she attend classes. He noticed Armaan sitting along with Shilpa and went straight up to them.

"Hey dude. This is my seat."

This got the attention of the entire class. Everyone was surprised that Shilpa had made quick friends with this new guy cause everyone knew that Shilpa was choosy about friends, especially guys. Mayank on the other hand knew that his sister wouldn't make a bad choice. Armaan decided to move as he didn't want to make a scene on his very first day.

"Hey RV let them be. Come join us for once.", Mayank said.

That settled down the tension in the room. Everyone went back into minding their own business. Mayank noticed Nupur sitting all be herself behind Armaan and Shilpa. Mayank suddenly felt a plunge of guilt for the way he behaved with her. He left his seat next to Ria and took the seat next to Nupur. At that Ria felt very much disappointed. Though she had Nupur's words running in her head that she and Mayank hate each other, Ria felt extremely jealous that the Day Nupur set foot into the college Mayank has started moving away from her.

"Hey.", Mayank said." Look I'm-"

"If this is about what happened earlier today then you can forget about it cause I'm in no mood to forgive you."

"I was in a bad mood. I'm sorry.", Mayank tried to apologize.

"you don't have to worry. I wont tell anybody that you are a hot headed freak. I'll let all the girls go gaga over you."

"I'm not a hot headed freak. It's just-"

"Forget it.", Nupur said. Just then the professor entered the class.

He started his lecture. Some of them like Nupur was sincerely listening to him, some others were trying to escape out of the window and bunk as they have given their attendance. As for people like Armaan and Shilpa, they were lost in their own world.

"So I heard that you are the richest prettiest girl around.", Armaan asked and Shilpa nodded.

"So he just wants to be friends with me for my money and popularity.", Shilpa thought, disappointed. "He is no different from the other boys."

Just then a person banged into the classroom. He was very shabbily dressed. His hair was untidy and his I ear pierced, he looked like a typical ruffian.

"The class wont continue.", the boy said.

"Please take a seat Mr.Druv Kundra", the professor said.

"I said there will be no class then there will be NO CLASS", Druv shouted and through the professor book on the floor. Armaan and Nupur were taken back while the others just let ou8t a disappointed sigh.

Nupur got up to protest but Mayank pulled her back down.

"What re you doing leave my hand. We have to stop this.", Nupur said try to get herself out of Mayank's firm grip.

"Look. You are not superwoman or something to stop this. Just don't interfere.", Mayank said.

"Why should I listen to you.", Nupur asked.

She tried to get up again bit this time Mayank pulled her so hard she ended up falling on him. For a moment Nupur thought that she had seen something past this short tempered Mayank. Something that every girl falls for but then she pulled herself back to reality.

By this time the professor and Druv had left.

"Who was that.", Armaan asked.

"That's Druv Kundra. RV elder brother. He failed consequently the past two years and has still no hopes to pass. He is busy being the ruffian around here.", Shilpa explained.

"Cant you do anything to stop him?", Nupur asked RV.

"I'm helpless cause bro has all the political support he can get from our uncle who is an MLA.", RV said in an apologizing tone.

"I could have stopped that guy if it weren't for you.", Nupur said and left.

"This girl is crazy.", Mayank said. "I try to apologize to her and she doesn't listen and when I try to save her from being butchered by Druv she just pounces on me like I did some crime.", Mayank complained.

"Why do you bother what she thinks about you.", Ria said.

"You are right.", Mayank said.

All of them came out to the cafeteria to find Nupur face to face with Druv.

"So babes.", Druv said." tell me what I can do for you."

"Stop interrupting classes. There are people who would like to study.", Nupur said.

"O. So someone wants to study.", Druv said and laughed along with his friends." I also like studying interesting things." he eyed Nupur from top to down.

Armaan blood was boiling. Shilpa and RV looked helpless.

Nupur snapped her fingers in front of Druv's eyes.

"Sorry. I'm not interested in helping you with that.", she said boldly.

By now the entire college was around them. Everyone was shocked at how Nupur was handling the situation.

"Fine.", Druv said."At one condition. If I don't interrupt any classes for a week you have to go on a date with me and…….. kiss me in front of the entire college."

Armaan wanted to interrupt but Shilpa stopped him.

"It's fine. She is handling it really well. ", Shilpa consoled him."The last time a girl tried to go against him she got slapped so hard that she started bleeding and the very next day she left the college."

"I just hope bro doesn't shatter her.", RV said.

"What do you mean?", Armaan asked.

"Bro doesn't like people going against him and if someone does then that person doesn't live peacefully for long.", Ria said.

Mayank was clenching his fist in anger. Though he was RV best friend he was Druv's sworn enemy and hated everything that Druv did.

"1 month.", Nupur said.

"Fine.", Druv agreed and left.

"Nice one nups.", Armaan said. "I'm sure that he will never win this bet. Way to go."

"And even if I lose this bet I'll refuse to do what he wants. Then what will he do kill me?", Nupur said laughing." Well then I want white flowers on my tombstone."

Everyone was revealed but Mayank and RV knew that the trouble was going to start.

Mayank walks up to a tombstone and placed white flowers on it.

"In the memory of our dear friend Nupur." the tombstone read.

"I haven't told anything about this to Shilpa. I don't want to tell her that you will never be back with us ever again", Mayank said." but I want you to do me one favor. Don't ever let Shilpa realize this bitter truth."

A lone tear escaped Mayank's eyes. He left the place after a while and he felt the air singing out his mind.

You left me alone and now I'm so forlorn.

I wish you knew how I feel,

And that this wound would never heal.

Okay guys.
before you feel like throwing your chappals at me i want you guys to know that i am a die hard fan of Mayur(my username) and i can never destroy them.
So you have to just wait for the suspense to unfold.😉
