Chapter 35:

The whole house was panicking. Sonia made Rano sit down to ease her tension. Sumitra bua would be coming over to meet Geet first.

"Tum mat tension lo, sab theek ho jaaye ga" Sonia said giving Rano a glass of water.

Rano looked at her worried.

"Tum nahi jaanti who meri badi behen hain, aur Geet is our only daughter she is the type who makes a huge deal out of everything" Rano said gilping down the water.

"I'm sure she's not that bad. Waise bhi I have met her at Sonam's in England, she seems friendly" Sonia said.

Rano felt less tense after that.

Geet who was deciding on what to wear looked over to Maan who kept smiling at her.

"Badi hasi aa rahi hai tumhe! Jab Bua aayegi toh phir dekhna!" she said making baby faces.

"Tension mat liya karo" he said putting the files down.

He came and hugged her from the back.

"Yeh lo go and change" she handed him the clothes.

"Kya? I'm being romantic and you're telling me to leave"

"Sweety when are you not romantic?" she said moving away from him.

Everyone was ready just then in time Nakul came inside carrying bags with him.

The whole house went over to greet Bua.

"Beautiful house Savitri" Bua said hugging her.

Savitri lead her inside.

"Idhar aao meri jaan" Bua said calling Geet over.

Maan grabbed Geet's hand.

"Aao na beta kya hua?" Sumitra said confused.

Geet looked at Maan gritting her teeth.

He smirked.

She pierced her nails into his skin and he immediately let go.

Sumitra hugged Geet and then called Maan over….

"Very handsome indeed" she said pulling Maan over to her opposite side.

"Tum dono ki Jodi salaamat rahe" she said taking both of their hands and placing them ontop of each others.

"Aap fresh ho jaayiyay phir khaana laga dete hain" said Sonia smiling.

Sumitra smiled as Dadi went to show her the bathroom.

They were all seated happy and calm because Sumitra Bua seemed to be in a good mood. After dinner Geet, Sumitra, Rano, Sonia and Dadi sat up on the terrace gossiping and talking….Maan came in.

"Kya ho raha haI?" he asked as he dropped beside Dadi.

"Waise ek baat bohat zaroori hai…koi khush khabri?" Sumitra sked as Geet looked confused and the rest of the women looked surprised.

"Abhi tak koi khush khabari nahi?"

Geet looked down embarrassed understanding what she meant.

Maan suppressed his laughter.

"Beta bache choti umar main hi theek hote hain" Sumitra said.

Maan felt like he would explode with laughter….Geet's face had turned cherry red.

She glared at Maan.

"Beta dekho ab tum badi ho gayi ho bachon ki umar ho gayi hai, beta it's not like you don't have a career. Ab bache ho jaane chaahiye" she said explaining.

Rano and Sonia held back their giggles.

"Hum woh coffee leke aate hain" said Rano.

Geet sat there feeling hot…..all of a sudden.

"Savitri app toh inhe keh sakti thi, dekhiyay abhi nahi toh kabhi nahi" Bua said disappointed.

Maan sat there winking at Geet.

"I hate you!" she mouthed and he winked at her again.

"Hum woh bachon ki marzi hai" Savitri Devi said leaving.

Bua pulled Geet and Maan closer.

"Humari baat pe sochiyay ga" she said serious.

Maan burst into laughter not being able to control.

"Kya hua?" Sumitra asked panicked.

"Kuch nahi woh" Geet said still hot red.

"Beta aap ko fever toh nahi hai?" Sumitra said looking at Geet.

"Nahi woh"

"Kya nahi woh nahi woh….look how red you have become"

Maan laughed even louder.

"Maan beta dekhiyay aap stable hain and you are capable in everyway, aap dono ko iss bare main sochna chaahiyay. Aakhir main toh tum dono ke bache dekhna chahti hoon" she said.

"Hmm, jii" said Maan leaving.

"Aise kyun dekhti jaa rahi ho!? he said smirking.

Geet who was sitting at the dressing table burning a hole in his face turned back.

"You know what!!! tumhe badaa mazaa aa raha hai haina?"

"Maine kya kiya?" he said being innocent.

She walked over to him and sat beside him on the couch. She switched off the business channel and put his books on the table.

He sighed.

"Tumne kyun nahi kuch kaha?"

"Kya matlab? Who mere faide ki baat kar rahi thi aur main protest karta paagal samjha hai kya?" he said in an equal tone.

"Haan haan, dard toh hum aurton ko har baar sehna pardta hai, while you men have all the pleasure" she said fuming.

"So? We don't force you now do we?" he said moving closer to her.

"Paas mat aana mere!" she said warning him.

"Dekh ajab chaaha paas bula liya jab chahaa nahi! And I love you Bua she's awesome!" he said smiling widely.

She picked up a pillow and threw it at him.

"Humme is bare main sochna chaahiye waise bhi I am capable in everyway" he laughed holding his stomach.

"I know what your capable of really well" she said rolling her eyes.

"Maan stop laughing!!!" she said after 2 minutes.

"Acha sorry magar I only wanted her to see our children before it's too late" he said sweetly.

"That's not the point the point is that this was SOO DAMN EMBARRESSING!!! I heard Bua tell dad too" she said pouting.

He pulled her into a hug.

"It's okay kabhi na kabhi toh bacche ho jaayain gay" he said smiling, boy was he amused.

He picked her up and put her on the bed.

"Challo kal tumhe Boutique pe jaana hai so jaao magar haan sochna iss bare main" he said laughing.

She moved all the way to the other side and he pulled her back but she moved away again. They repeated this 5 times.

"Geet main Bua ko bata raha hoon keh tum sach main bachi ho!" he said pulling her into him.

"Maan I just want my career to get started that's all" she said looking up to him.

And he kissed her several times.

"I know sweetheart" he said between kisses.

"I love you" she said smiling at his understanding as he leaned in to tug on her bottom lip.

He brushed his lips against hers and then kissed her a final time and then shut the lamps off.

"Tum abhi bhi darti ho?" he said with hi slips on her neck.

"Tum saath ho toh dar nahi lagta" she said softly enjoying the touch of his lips.

PRECAP:

"Bachon ke kapde lete agar koi khushkhabari hoti" Sumitra said.

Geet looked down.
