GENTLE WHISPERS PART 12
As Maan entered the hall, wearing a brand new ultra expensive black sherwani ( damn…he always prefers black)…with gold studded design, all the girls there just couldn't stop drooling! Some were left with their mouths wide open….while some fainted!!! Many girls cried….they just couldn't dijest the fact that MSK WAS GETTING MARRIED……..NOOOOOOOOOOO WWWWWAAAAAAAYYYYY!!!!! They cried and cried and cried over their bad luck!!!
Indeed our Maan was looking cruelly handsome!!!!
Maan stood at the centre. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He recalled that morning. Dev had come to him and both had an urgent talk.

Dev: I'm sorry bro for letting the singhanias brainwash me and NT. Humne bina soche samjhe saare losses ka dosh geet par laga diya. We are really sorry for that. but I really doubt them.
Maan: even I have suspicions about them. My accident was just not an accident. It was definitely planned and I know the singhanias are behind all these problems. But if it wasn't for dadi, I'd have sued them and dragged them to the court ……but the problem is that we don't have enough evidence against their forgery…and strong ones too.
Adi: yes sssssir!!! And not to forget they hve stong political support also. Hume apna har kadam phoonk phoonk kar rakhna padega.
Maan: you are right. We need to be extra careful. But don't tell anything about this to dadi, geet or anybody else. This should remain among the three of us! Understood?
Dev & Adi (together): understood!

Meanwhile geet was almost ready. Pari and meera gave her the final touches.
Pari: how dreammyyy…..geet….you and MK…..
She started drooling.
Meera (to geet who was looking at pari in amazement): you look so beautiful…..
Pari (interrupting): haiye…..if geet looks soooooooo…….pretty then I wonder (still drooling) how my dreammmyyyy would be looking! Am going to die today!
Geet somehow didn't like it. How dare any girl talk like that about her husband in front of her!!!
Maara: oh shut up pari.
(now tuning to geet and putting the red dupatta over her head): you look as pretty as a rose geet! I'm damn sure….hubby dearest is going to lose control tonight!😳☺️
Geet blushed and her face turned bright red. All the girls giggled. Sasha entered the room and as usual she shouted ," will you all hurry….it's already time"
Geet quickly covered her face with her red auspicious dupatta…and all the girls escorted her to the ceremonial venue.
Maan's thoughts were distracted by a sudden round of giggling and whispering. He looked around only to see his bride coming down the stairs. Her red heavy lehnga with heavy jewellery looked stunning.

He couldn't see her face as it was covered by her dupatta. It bugged him…..made his restless.
As the ceremony proceeded, geet's heart throbbed! She was very happy….at the same time sad too. Happy because she was going to live her life with the person she loved and trusted his above herself the most in the world and sad because she missed her parents,….her relatives weren't close to her…..so she felt a need for her mum and dad. Dadima did the "kanyadaan". She was happy to see happiness coming to her grandson and her house.
Geet tried to absorb every moment in her heart because after today, her life was going to change forever………may be for the better!!!!
With every phere that Maan and geet took holding each other's hands, both promised to keep each other happy….even at the cost of their lives. Both vowed never to let a tear trickle down from each other's eyes…
Both vowed to sacrifice themselves for the happiness of each other………..both vowed to trust each other even at the face of adversities and misunderstandings……both promised never to let each other feel lonely….to support each other when the whole world is against them……both vowed to find each others tears even while walking in the rain….both swore to start their days with each other and end their life with each other's names on their lips……And both handed over their lives to each other in that short ceremony!
Pinky gently lifted Geet's dupatta from her face for the final event. Maan was just awestruck with her beauty….her charm…..her innocence…….her lowered eyes, heavy ornaments adoring her body….she looked like an angel from heaven!
As Maan put the auspicious "sindoor" on her maang, she promised herself to place Maan above everything else in her life! And when he tied the "mangalsutra" round her neck, she closed her eyes and gave away her life to him! Maan promised himself that he'd place geet above everything else in his life….he vowed to protect her from every danger….every fear of the world as he put the sindoor and the mangalsutra!!!!
"FROM TODAY ONWARDS WE SHALL ALWAYS BE TOGETHER…….HENCEFORTH TILL THE END OF ETERNITY!!!!"
