The Next Morning... 7.00 am

Gunjan's POV:

The Bright rays of the sun woke me up and I sat in my bed thinking about this new life... I couldnt believe I had actually got a job.. And that also in Shergill Company! Really they were one of the best companies in Mumbai! But Samrat Shergill!! Have to be careful.. I guess I was too rude to him! He's my boss I need to make sure I do as he says! This job is very Important for me..!

I was lost in my thots when suddenly..

"Gunjaaan.."

It was jiju! But so early in the morning.. why?

He came into my room and seeing me awake he asked.

"tum abhi tak so rahi ho? MBA class 8 baje chaloo hota hain.. jaldi ready ho jao.. Nd jaldi nashta karo!"

"Oh haan.. main toh bhool hi gayi.. thanx jiju.. main abhi aayi."

God kab tak mujhe yeh naatak karna hoga! Main itni jaldi office kaise ja sakti hoon? Abhi i doubt waha par koi bhi hoga.. meri duty 9 baje se chaloo hoti hai.. ok gunjan.. relax.. ek baar jakar dekh toh le.. maybe waha ke worker jaldi aate ho!

So I quickly got ready calmed my self down and rushed for My So called MBA class bidding di and jiju bye..

I reached office and looked around... umm.. I knew it koi nahi aya!

Suddenly I heard a door open slam shut... Who could that be?? So early?Must be some worker.. or maybe sweeper! Gawd.. What am I doing in an empty office! I dont even have work to do!

Suddenly someone tapped me on the back.. I jumped in shock.. Looked back to see none other than Karan Sir.. phew..

"good..goodmorning sir!"

"A very Good Morning ms. Bhushan.. but aapki duty 9 oclock se hain.. aap yaha? Abhi?'

"umm.. actually sir woh socha aaj first day tha toh thoda jaldi aa jau.."

"Well maine samrat se pehle hi kaha tha ki tum bohot hard working ho par woh nahi maana.. anyway come ill show you your desk and Ill make you understand your work!"

Aur Main samrat sir se expect bhi kya kar sakti hoon!! Arghh.. woh mujhe jaanta hi kitna hai! I will show him MY effeciency!! Wait and watch!It was 9.30 when samrat sir stomped into his cabin in his usual Rude attitude.. not wishing anyone good morning or anything... All the girls started drooling over him as he entered his cabin!

I was wondering WHAT do these girls like in him... He was sooo rude and arrogant! I controlled my thoughts and decided I would respect him and do as he said! How do I care what these girls think??

I went into his office.. he was sitting on his chair and checking something on his laptop..

"goodMorning sir!" I said..

No reply from him.. as expected!

"Its my first day here.. so.."

"Soo???" he said without even looking at me..

"I ..was..wondering if you had any..work... for me?"

He finally looked up.

"Ms.Bhushan.. If I have anywork at all I will let you know! Please go and sit in your desk!"

"Sorry Sir" That was all I said.. I wanted to say so much more..!! who does he think he is!!! George Bush! What kind of secretary does he WANT! God! Well mere liye hi achha hai.. I have no work!

I went out and sat on my desk! Shilpa came to meet me..

"hey Gunjan! 1^st day hah! All the best! You will need It! Im lucky Im Karan sirs secretary hes veryy sweeet! "

"I know yaar shilpa.. yeh samrat kitnaa Rude aur arrogant hai! Gosh! Koi uske saath kaam kaise kar sakta '

The Phone rang..

"Ms.Bhushan In my Cabin NOW!"

And he cut the line..

"See.. there I go! Bye.."

She smiled at me..

I knocked at the door.

"come in.."

I went inside..

"yes sir.."

Again without even looking at me..

"Ms. Bhushan...Our company is trying to get a tender.. If we get this one we will have a huge profit! I am incharge for this project and you will have to work on this! We need an excellent speech prepared which i have to give.. You are going to do that today! Ok? "

"yes sir.. but what is this all about?"

"That you will get once you read this file.. ab jao get to work!"

"Ok sir.."

"nd haan ek aur cheez.. please mere saare phone cals pehle tum uthana and then transfer it to me! And if it isnt important then dont transfer the call!! And meri shedule kal se tayar rakhna! Got that!"

"yes sir.."

"Any more question..."

He looked at me angrily?! Gosh! He just knows how to give orders!! Hmm.. Well this work is easy! Ill do it!

"no sir.."

Then he looked shocked.. or rather surprised..

"Good!.."

After Working on the speech I was finally ready with it! I went to sir's cabin..

"Sir... The speech is ready.. Please have a look.."

He looked up..

"Itni jaldi? Are you sure your done with it! This is very important Ms.Bhu'

"You can call me gunjan sir..":

"ok.. fine gunjan... are you sure.."

"aap ek baar dekh lijiye na sir.."

He read through it... Well I tried reading his expressions while he read it! But I failed.. he just Had NO expressions! He just had an angry look on his face! God knows if he liked it or not! I was scared and very nervous.. I was expecting alot.. But I just got a'

"Ok gunjan.."

"woh. Sir.. i hope its fine?"

"maine ok kaha gunjan!"

"ok sir.."

And I left! Oh god! Main kya karu iska? Kuchh kaha bhi nahi.. bas ok?!

Wait there has to be something wrong! I went and quickly improved the whole speech and came back..

This Time I saw Karan sir in the cabin reading my speech...and samrat sir was telling him..

"Bro ek baar padhkar dekho!"

And Karan sir replied. "haan haan.. tujhe is larki se kya problem hai mujhe samajh nahi aati.."

I knocked and went in..

"umm.. sir.. Im sorry woh aapko pehle waala speech achha nahi laga tha na.. so I improved iT!

"Kya?!!! Samrat You didnt like it?? But Its fantastic! Usne kitni achhi tarah is project ko samjha hai! Lagta hi nahi ki yeh pehli baar iss office main kaam kar rahi hai!!"

I smile came on my face! Karan sir was so nice.. Why did i have to be HIS secretary...!!

"Maine kab kaha ki mujhe achha nahi laga?"

"but sir aapne OK bola?!"

"So.. I din say redo it! God! Tumhari problem kya hai!"

TUMM!!! I wanted to say.. argh..

"sorry sir!"

"Well gunjan tum ye wala bhi yahi chhod do and go home.. I will look at them and choose them.. Is that UNDERSTOOD?"

"yes sir.." He was just soooo rude! MAN!

"now go.. and tomorrow sharp at 8 I want you here! We have work to do!"

"yes sir.."

I went home ... On the way I realised I was late and aaj di was going to Fill me with questions!! What do I do..?

But On reaching home I saw something else.. Jiju was back early today and was talking to nupur..

"Nupur.. Tum nahi jaanti mujhe kitna gussa aa raha haiN!"

"mayank chhoro na..." di said in her comforting voice.. waise gussa toh mujhe bhi aa raha tha!

"Woh Samrat Shergill Samajhta Kya hai apne aap ko!!Pata hai aaj usne kaise kaha ... 'Huh..yeh project ke liye bekaar ki mehnat karna chhod do! Ispar Shergills ka naam likha hai!'"

"Mayankk.. relaxxxxx."

WHAT??? SAMRAT SIR AND JIJU??? SAME TENDER?? NAHII ... Main inhe kaise face karooongi?? Agar jiju ne mujhe office main dekh liya toh??
