Meher 'Yes Prem she is Heer'

Prem ' What happened to her. Why is she in such a bad state? Did she met with an accident. What happened to her dammit tell me'

Meher 'You remember when I joined your office as your personal assistant told you about her.'

Prem 'Yes I remember you couldn't stop singing praises for your sister. Though I have never seen her in person but I can practically say I know her very well. You couldn't stop worshipping her for the sacrifice she made for you. You told me how she dropped out of college without completing her studies to find a job to just support you in your studies. Your parents died early and left you with nothing. So she had to work day and night to support both you.'

Meher 'Yes she made sacrifice at that time and till now she has been making them for me. You wanted to know why is she in present state. Its because of me.'

Prem 'I don't understand how can you be responsible for her bad state.'

Meher 'I am. She has been through hell just to provide me everything I asked for. She never did think about herself. I never knew what she did. How she managed to fulfill all my demands. I just made them and they were fulfilled by her. I am so selfish. '

Prem 'Meher you are not selfish. You know that and I don't need to prove that to you. Now tell me what happened to Heer.'

Meher 'Last week Saturday you remember I took a day off. It was because I had planned to pay Heer a surprise visit. I went to her husband Rampal's house . I reached the place and rang the bell but no one answered the door. I thought maybe no one is at home. I was about to return when I heard someone screamed. I banged the door and rang bell many times but no one answered. So I immediately called the police and when they arrived I told them I heard someone screaming. So they cracked open the door. When we rushed inside I couldn't believe what I saw. Heer was lying on the floor black blue everywhere on her body and her clothes torn. The Rampal was on her and trying to molest her. She was unconscious and bleeding to hell. Police immediately arrested him and Heer was rushed to hospital. I couldn't react to everything. It was like I have been thrown on in hell. When I reached hospital Heer was being tended to and I wasn't allowed to meet her. Later when she regained consciousness she denied to give any statement to the police against Rampal. We couldn't understand anything why would she not testify against that beast but she simply denied anything and refused to speak to anyone. I was helpless seeing her so frightened so helpless so vulnerable. I convinced her somehow to come and stay with me. She is so frightened that sometimes she screams in her sleep. Its all my fault because I made all the demands from her and never thought what she does to fulfill them all. She couldn't finish her education because her top priority was to provide for me. She didn't testify against that beast and now he is free because police don't have anything against him.'

Prem 'how can police set him free. They have caught him red handed so what else they need.'

Meher 'They want a statement from Heer and she has denied to give one. I don't know why is she not testifying against him. She says he is her husband he she won't testify against him'

With that Meher again bursted into tears. Prem was soothing her out when they heard a shrill scream from the room in which Heer was lying. Meher rushed to the room and saw Heer crying hysterically. Meher ran towards her and hugged her murmuring soothing her. Atlast Heer sobered down and Meher put her to sleep once again. They went out of room together.
