Samrat was shocked. He couldn't understand why did Diya do all of this? Was it for winning the bet or was there more to it? He had to know somehow or the other so he decided to confront Diya. He headed towards the canteen. Knowing Diya , that was the only place she'd be other than the girls washroom for doing her touch-up.

On the other hand , Nupur was also surprised that it was Diya. She was furious and thought "BY GOD! Aaj toh tum gayyi Diya ki bachchi!!" She too went in the direction of the canteen as she very well knew that Diya definitely wasn't a person who would attend classes and Library id also ruled out leaving the canteen.

*In the Canteen*

Only Diya and her chamchas were there. Diya was having her cold drink when she saw Samrat coming from one side of the corridor but wait , he looked terribly angry that is just when she looked to the other side and found an equally angry Nupur coming towards her from the other direction.

She understood that they both had realized that she was the reason for their fights with their respective "friends".

Samrat reached before Nupur did , and asked Diya about her disgusting lie.

He walked away from the canteen and in about two minutes Nupur reached their with anger in her big eyes. The thing was that Nupur was called by a teacher thus her entry got late.

Nupur asked her " Diya! BY GOD! Tumne aisa kyun kiya , haan?"

"Babes! That's a easy one. I did it for my badla for that day at your place." Said Diya smiling in evil manner.

Nupur stared at Diya with a feeling that made her want to kill Diya right there but she controlled herself while Diya continued.

"So I told Mayank , and he believe me completely though only half of it was true." Diya said ending the truth.

Nupur was just plain shocked as to this was Diya's very big reason for the problem she had created.

Suddenly Nupur saw Mayank walking with CJ and she was going to go to them rather him but then again there was an announcement which said the principal wanted to talk with everyone so they all had to assemble in the auditorium after half an hour.

*In the auditorium*

"As you all know the academic meet is coming closer and like every year , this year too it's Mr. Mayank Sharma who is going for it but this time it's a two-people competition so he needs to decided who his partner would be. The selection is going to be out of you all and it's going to be final. The person Mayank chooses cannot say no. I'll announce his decision by tomorrow. Thank you and now dimissed." Said the Principal and walked out.

All eyes on Myank and a pair of hopeful eyes were looking at him with pure hope.

Mayank left for the library to think peacefully.

*In the Library*

Mayank thought about it carefully. First he thought of CJ! So he approached her but unfortunately she had to go for a workshop.

Then he thought of Nupur but then he thought "Woh toh wahan bhi jhoot bolegi! Not her"

"How about Gunjan! But kahin Nupur ko burra na lag jaayye! Why do I care! Tit for Tat! It's Gunjan!"

*Next day ' Auditorium*

"Okay , so Mayank has decided and I am so glad he choose her. I'm pleased to announce Mayank Sharma will be accompanied by none other than Miss. Gunjan Bhushan."

Gunjan was shocked. She hadn't been expecting it at all and looked at Mayank while he smiled at her.

After the Principal went Gunjan told Mayank

"Mayank , All this is happening so suddenly. You should have told me but I'm pleased as it's a really big opportunity for me."

Mayank smiled at her and said "It's big for all of us. I'm so glad that I have a intelligent and HONEST partner". He said the last bit loudly so that Nupur would hear it.

Gunjan oblivious of the whole thing simply smiled at him and said "Okay , so now that we're a team let's go and start gathering information about the topics"

Mayank then said "You proceed , I'll catch up with you in a while"

They both left unaware of 2 pairs of eyes staring.

One Pair of them with utter anger the other with hurt.

*Cut to Gunjan*

Gunjan was walking when she felt her hand being pulled and then her whole self pulled inside a empty class room. She was scared , fear clearly visible in her eyes as the room was completely dark and there was only a bit light coming from the window .

Samrat stood completely silent staring at her.

Both were lost in each other's eyes trying to find out what each of them has inside. They didn't even know what they felt yet they stared and stared into each others' eyes , playing with one and another's gaze.

Gunjan then realized and slightly pushed Samrat so she could go out but Samrat held her hand from the back and said "Wait! I need to talk to you!"

"Not again! I have to prepare for the academic meet , Mayank must be waiting for me so please leave my hand." Said Gunjan irritated.

Instead of leaving her hand he twisted it behind her back and he stood behind her and whispered in her ear

"Tum usske saath nahi jaogi"

Gunjan was shocked that he had come so close to her from the back and tried to free her hand but couldn't . Since he was close she moved her face to other side as if she would have moved it in his direction her cheek would touch his lips so she did that and said

"What! Yeh tum kya bol rahe ho!"

Samrat said " Wahi jo tum sunn rahi ho ! "

"Sorry! Par main tumhari tarah nahi hoon aur main Mayank ko ditch nahi kar sakti!"

The moment she took Mayank's name , he twisted her hand further and again whispered in her ear

"Tumhe Usski bohot fikarr hai'. Is something going on between the two of you?"

"Samrat what nonsense is this! Please leave my hand!" said Gunjan pleadingly.

"No first you tell me." Said Samrat twisting her hand more.

"SAMRAT! It's paining! Leave my hand!" she screamed and tried to free her hand again.

He realized he was holding her hand way too tightly and loosened a bit but still he wanted to know anyhow.

"tell me now!" said Samrat

Gunjan stepped on his leg as he was standing behind her and left the place.

While Samrat thought "I can't believe I twisted her hand What is wrong with me?? "

*Cut to Mayank*

He waited for Gunjan but when she didn't come he thought maybe some teacher must have called her that is why she must have gotten late.

So he got up to go to the men's loo.

While walking back he crashed into Nupur and he lost balance and was about to fall when Nupur's hand supported him.

They stared at each other. None of them knew what was happening ankhon hi ankhon main.

She held his palm tightly and took him till the Library but even after reaching she still wouldn't leave his hand and told him

" Main ander tak chordeti hoon!"

"nahi! It's okay!" he said in a softer tone which surprised Nupur.

"Main chordeti hoon naa" said Nupur a bit loudly

Mayank shut his mouth as she helped him sit in the Library and went away thinking "even though he's hurt me so much I care for him. Why?
