"Woh yesterday vicky ne humein call ker ke bataya tum engage hone ja rahi ho toh we had to come."Mayank said and put his hand around geet and Maan stiffened.

"Oh Arjun it is so great you guys are siblings!I am so happy for you !"Maya said to Arjun and shyly hugged him.

"ermm."Priya cleared her throat

"Oh I am sorry .Priya idher aao meri princess."Priya jumped off her chair with the help of vicky and ran to her mother and hid behind her feeling shy.

"Are priya,why are you being shy!apko patha hai,yeh apki mama ke bachpaan ke dost hain!You can say hi to them for me" Geet said bending down slightly before feeling the pain but she ignored it and held her daughter's hand and gently encouraged her to say hi.

"Namaste bhaia or didi"Priya said while fidgetting with Geet's duppatta.Geet gently kissed her and got up.

"oh so this is the famous priya!Wow your so pretty !"Mayank said before patting her head.

"hey priya! what a beautiful dress your wearing can I borrow it?"Maya said before priya giggled

"No priya you have to give that dress to me!"mayank pouted before priya started to laugh.

After everyone was introduced they all sat down and started to talk.Geet excused herself and went to her room and sat down.She felt the pain rise from her stomach.Gently clutching her stomach she started to breath heavily.She tried to get up but she could not,and then she called out there name or only his.

"MAAAN"Geet said in pain.

Everyone downstairs heard Geet scream and ran upstairs to her room, to find her sweating and breathing heavily.Maan ran to her side and sat by her and asked her what was wrong. She started to complain about the pain.Maya ran down to call the doctor and Mayank took priya out because she was crying.Arjun closed his eyes and prayed for his sister to feel better.Maan picked geet and brought her to the bed.Laying her down he gently put his hand on her head and wiped away the sweat.

"Maan bohot dard ho rahi hai,.Please make it stop"Maan frantically looked around,hoping that the doctor would come soon.

"Doctor abhi aae rahen hain."maan said before geet pulled his hand and cried in pain.

After several hours, the doctor had left with advising the family to keep her in bed as the wounds were still fresh.Geet had been drugged to sleep, but she held Maan's hand tightly against her heart.Maan felt tired himself,he just wanted the pain to end. He wanted her to finally have a reason to smile, yet he always messed up. He put his head on geet's chest and silently cried.

After an hour,geet woke up to feel her hands wet, as she opened her eyes, she noticed Maan laying on her chest with a tear stained face.Geet looked at him with a worried look, she was hurt by his words last night but then she had talked to dadi.Dadi had told her that vicky was just kidding, he wanted to surprise her by calling her childhood friends, except maan had not taken the news well.Dadi told her that maan had cried himself to sleep, and he felt guilty. That night Geet promised herself that she would change for him. Change for a man that had helped her in so many ways. She slept that night in his bed with a smile on her face. She loved him so much that it scared her, but she would make her fear her strength. Coming back to reality she gently brushed his tears away, and kissed his eyes. She watched a small smile form on his face, and that's when she knew that she wanted that smile to stay.

"Maan"She whispered while stroking his hair, he slightly moved before she said his name again. This time he opened his eyes and looked at her before giving her a weak smile. Getting up Maan tried to walk away but she held his hand.

"Sit down Maan."Maan went and sat on the chair by the door,geet rolled her eyes and patted the spot on the bed.She watched as maan hesitantly sat by her, still trying not to look at her.

"I am not mad at you Maan,"

"You're no- not."Maan said looking at her as if she told him a joke.

"Nai Maan,you were angry,I understand! You did not mean it!I love you, and my love does not break by your anger.In fact it just becomes more stronger.I do not want you to regret anything. Besides I was being stupid na"Geet said as Maan's eye filled with tears.

"shhhh"Geet said pulling him closer by one hand, while the other cupped his face.She gently caressed his cheeks with her thumb, and slowly brought her face closer to his and kissed him on the cheek.Geet looked up to see the guilt in his eyes. He was really hurt. She gently rested her forehead against his, and looked in to his eyes. Still not getting a response she brought her hands and cupped his face forcing him to look her way.

When she had his attention, she shook her head in disapproval and gently whispered sweet nothing in his ears.Soothing him,and making him smile.Maan slowly melted before he pulled her in to a bone crushing hug. He held on to her and apologized a multiple of times. What they did not notice were the people standing by the door, watching their little exchange.

Both the couple pulled away embarrassed, but when they looked up at the people by the door they saw the smiles on their faces.Uhh-oh,here comes the teasing on the count of 1..2..3...

"wow wasaiy Geet mujhe nahi path tha ke tum itni romantic ho sakhti ho!I mean tumne toh Maan ko melted butter bana diya!Wasaiy ase kammon ke liye banda darwaza band ker leta hai chutki!."Mayank said winking at Maan,who smiled and looked away.

"Wasaiy bhabi apko toh idher beth ke sharmane chaiye ke apka hone wala apke samne behta hai!Magar dekhein apse ziada toh Maan bhai sharma rahe hain"Vicky said putting his hands around his brother and gently nudging him.

"Geet,remember grade 1 main tumne eik larke ki naakh tor di thi because he called you pretty!Ab kiya hua!Oye Maan meri behn se door raho"Arjun said sitting down by the door.

"Aur hum kaise bhool saktein hain ke Miss wonder women ki waja se hamara Maan ko raath bahar neend nai ati thi."Dev pitched in.

"Tum logon ke paas kitna falto waaqt hai,kisi aur ko nahi pereshan ker sakhte!"Maan said looking at the guys.

"Ok,chalo bus bohot hogay.Jise kaam ke liye ayein hain who toh ker lein!Geet beta Maya aur main magazines dekh rahe the!Unhe main eik professional designer ka number tha!Who tumhara size maang rahi hai,Aur pooch rahi hai kon sa colour ke kapre aap pehne gi engagement per."Dadi said coming up to her.

"Black"

"Nai geet,white"

"tum loog sagai ke kaproon ke barein baath ker rahe ho ya funeral ke!"Maya said rolling her eyes.

"what, I like black."

"Haan but you look good in white Geet!"

"Maan tum dono toh choro!Asa kertein hain ke koi ronne doone ke gane bhi laga deinge!Tum loog koi kaam ke nahi ho!Chalo dadi we have a lot of work to do!"Maya said as everyone laughed!

A few days passed, and Geet's health improved, It was the day before the engagement and Maan and Geet were in their significant beds thinking about how bad their day was. Apparently they were not allowed to see each other .Geet had fallen asleep, smiling that tomorrow was a big day for her.

The morning of the engagement geet was woken by a soft kiss on her cheek. As she got up she noticed that priya had showered .

"good morning mama"

"good morning princess!"geet said kissing her cheeks.

"Dadi wants you too shower and come downstairs and eat."

"okay beta aap jao main ati hoon"

After geet had showered she went downstairs, where the whole room had transformed in to a salon .Dadi Maa ran to her with a glass of juice saying she needed to be ready soon.

After getting a French manicure and pedicure ,Geet was pulled to have her make up done.Since her saree was red and black ,the artist had used those two colours. Making her hazel eyes to darken by the make-up. Next was styling her hair ,the lady doing her hair fell in love with it. She praised her long beautiful hair. She told geet, that she would curl it from the bottom and let it cascade down her back.

When maya had came to check up on geet, she was brought to tears by the beauty that stood in front of her.Maan was going to die today the fact geet was not even wearing the saree,made maya think how she would look with the saree.

Later that night geet stood in front of the mirror fixing her pallu,she loved this saree. Suddenly she thought about what Maan would be doing right now.

Maan wore his black sherwani,and fixed the collar smiling at the thought that geet was going to be his soon.He looked at Arjun who was wearing a white sherwani,Arjun had been on the edge. In fact what brother would not be.It was his sister's engagement. Maan had tried to talk to him a few times but Arjun had said he was okay. Finally when all the men were ready ,dadi came in and told them that guest were arriving in a few minutes. All of them made their way downstairs and smiled looking at the beautiful mansion. Happiness had finally found their way to them.

Maya knocked Geet's door and told her it was almost time to go. She told Maya that she would be right there as she was helping Priya in to her clothes. When both the mother and daughter were ready, they opened the door, and Maya felt like crying. Their stood two beauties, maya sent a silent prayer and wished for Geet to only see happiness/

Maan stood with the boys talking about the business, when their office staff arrived. They silently acknowledged their boss and moved to the side.Maan seeing this went up to them and happily welcomed them to his house. The staff was shocked to see a significant change in their boss.Pinky fell in love with her DD, thinking that he was hotter when he smiled. When all the guuest had arrived,Dadi gently told him that Geet would be coming so he should be ready to faint.Maan had looked at her confused,but she laughed at her own joke and left.

As everyone gathered around the music started to play,and their stood the most gorgeous women alive,with his little princess and Maya.
