Okay, usually I'm not even free on weekdays, but there may be a time I update on a weekday but it won't be too often. I'm planning on sticking to weekends 😊 And yeah I will definitely PM you 😊

Geet looked at Maan. "Suniye,"

Maan looked at Geet. "Kya hai?"

"I want to get the papers and go," Geet said, holding the tears back.

"Okay, we will. This place and these people aren't even worthy of you. And you call this home?" Maan said. He turned back to the Handas. "And listen! I am going to live to be a hundred, and no one can put a hand on my to-be wife while I'm alive! Understand?" he snarled.

"If you don't understand, I can make it clearer for you," Maan referred to his fists and looked at Brij. "But hopefully, you aren't that stupid and understand little things like this at least."

Maan looked at Geet with tender love. "Chale?"

"Let's go."

NEW UPDATE

Maan walked with me to the Jeep. Without a single word, we got into the vehicle, strapped our belts, and left the court with Rasika's papers. We had a court date next week, and until then, we were stranded in Hoshiarpur.

"Suniye ji," I tilted my head towards Maan and waited for him to face me.

"What did you call me?" Maan looked up from his brakes and raised his eyebrows.

"Kya? Maine kuch galut kaha?" I smiled at him mischeviously and decided to play a game with him. "I'm your fiancee now, I should be respectful towards you na?"

Maan opened his mouth and closed it, changing his mind about yelling at me. Instead, he smiled. I had a feeling he had a trick up his sleeve. But who knows with Maan Singh Khurana?
He drove to a nearby guesthouse and got my heavy bag out.

We walked in and the front desk guy looked at us and winked. "New wedding, huh?"

Maan regarded him with a weird expression. "What makes you say that?"

The man laughed. "You and bhabhi look so perfect. And in love. That is only possible when a couple is newly married. After a few years, it all goes away." the man looked sad, probably thinking of his own scary wife 😆

Geet waited for Maan to tell the guy they weren't married, they weren't a couple, that he was still his boss and she was working for him due to her situation. He started talking and she felt reassured.

"Nahin, aisa kuch nahin hain. We are newly married, but I will love her forever." Maan said, peeking at me from the corner of his eye.

I gaped and held back an OMG.

The man looked at me and laughed. "Look, bhabhi is so shocked!"

Maan gazed at me and the corners of his perfect lips curved upwards. His eyes twinkled, his pupils sparkled. It was hard to look away and break the eyelock, but I did and I had to. Maan laughed along with the man.
