Geet is totally zapped and her fingers freeze. Gurvinder tries calling out her name but Geet doesn't respond. He has to literally shake her up to make her come back to reality.
Geet: Maan sir.. ke naam pe..iska matlab…
Gur: dekho Geet, shayad … woe k professional con man ho..jo Maan sir ke naam pe ye sab kar raha ho… hum aur information dhoondenge…
Geet is blank she doesn't say a word.
Gurvinder decides it is not right for Geet to take so such stress in this condition. He tells her, she should just go back home and rest. Suddenly Geet looks determined.

As she says this.. she walks into Maan's office and asks him straight faced…

Sasha: aur .. Geet hum bahut bade project pe kaam kar rahe hai.. aur MK abhi busy hai…
Geet doesn't even look at Sasha.. she looks straight into Maan's eyes and from that he knows it could be something very important..

Sasha makes a face and walks away ….
As soon as she leaves Geet turns to Maan and asks him….
Geet: aap kisi Dev Khurana ko jaante hai?
Maan: Dev Khurana? (surprised she is asking him this)

Geet is so lost for words … she says … " Oh ! wo aap ka chota bhai hai….
She doesn't say anything….
Maan: kyun usne tumse kuch kaha kya? Ya kuch poocha?
Geet doesn't move….. " Dev Khurana mera bhai hai…." … "Kya aap mujhse shade karengi (devs words)" … and a lot many words go around in her head and she faints…
A while later ….At the outhouse…
The doctor comes to check on Geet and as she comes out … Maan says…
Maan: yeh pichle hafte main doosri baar hua hai.. ghabraneki koi baat toh nahi hai na doctor?
Doc: well… do baar hua! Iska matlab wo kuch zyada hi stress le rahi hai…maine pehle bhi bataya tha… itni choti umar main pregnant hone ki wajah se … unka jo sharer hai… itna stress le nahi paa raha hai…
Maan: don't worry doctor abse main Geet ka personally poora khayal rakhoonga…
As Maan leaves the doctor to the door , he is surprised to see a visitor … "Gurvinder"

Gur: Ji sir.. maine suna tha ..Geet ki tabiyat theek nahi hai.. to main usey dekhne chala aaya…
Maan: wo ab bilkul theek hai ( at the door itself, trying his best to avoid his coming inside)
Gur: kya main ussey mil sakta hoon…
Now Maan has no option… He wants to say no but he doesn't want to sound too harsh… he allows him inside … hoping he would send him away soon saying Geet needs to rest…
In the meanwhile at the Khurana House..
Dev looks around and thinks… " thank god NT ghar pe nahi hai.. ab main wo kaam kar sakta hoon… jo main itne dino se karna chah raha hoon…"
He takes a scribbling pad and writes down " I am going away for a few days… I guess we need this time off… jab waapis aaunga toh I hope, we will start off afresh…love you and only you… Dev"
He sets out of the house…..
Back in the outhouse…
Gurvinder hands over some stuff to Geet and says… "mummy ji ne bheja hai.. tumhare liye.. aise waqt main taqat ki bahut zaroorat hoti hai na… yeh lo kesar .. aur kuch aur cheese jo tumhare liye khaas bheje gaye hai…"
Geet takes them…
Gur: aur … yeh kya... time pe khaana khaya karo samjhi…
Maan is observing all this … He doesn't like the idea of someone else exercising so much authority over Geet…. He thinks… " Gurvinder jaanta hai ke geet pregnant hai! Kaise? Geet ne toh kaha tha .. ke sirf uske parivaar waale jaante hai … and then he gets those flashes of Geet asking Maan to help Gurvinder, and then Gurvinder being with her during the brij fight as well… then he remembers Geet telling him Gurvinder is actually her friends husband…. "kya itni safayi se Geet mujhse jhoot bol sakti hai? " Maan.. tu pagal ho gaya hai… fir se shak kar raha hai…
As though to make matters worse… Gurvinder tells him…
Gur: sir, aap khaamakha tension kyun le rahe hai.. aap ghar jayiye… main Geet ka poora khayal rakhoonga.. aur…
Geet looks at Maan and can sense, he isn't liking the idea… she is makes an excuse and says… " arey nahi Gurvinder… bahut der ho gayi hai na.. ab tum jaao.. kal main tumhe miloongi office main…"
Gurvinder gets up to leave … Maan is also no where to be seen….
Geet: yeh Maan sir kahan chale gaye.. lagta hai unko Gurvinder ka yahan aana pasand nahi aaya…
Maan appears … He is trying to be as normal as possible.. but there is worry on his face that can easily be sensed….
Geet: main ussey keh doongi ke wo dubara yahan na aaye…
Maan: (happy inside) kyun geet! Wo tumhare gao se hai.. aur.. wo tumhari kitni care kar raha tha.. le phal.. ye sab kuch…
Geet: mera khayaal rakhne ke liye aap hai na ( mahi …. Mahi… )
At the end of the moment… Maan comes and sits next to her.. as she holds his hand and rests her head against his shoulder…
Maan: bahut laparwah ho gayi ho tum… aise haal main, college jaana zaroori hai kya? Main tumhare liye ghar pe " tutor".. arrange kar sakta hoon…
Geet: tutor?
Maan: haan "lady tutor"
Geet: par maan sir…
Maan: main kuch jaanta… haan .. yeh theek rahega.. koi aake tumhe yahan pe padhadegi… aur … tum aaram kar lena.. !
Geet has no option but to nod as Maan Singh Khurana has passed the orders.

Maan: apne ateet ho aaj pe haavi sirf kamzor log karte hai geet.. aur Dev aur sudhar gaya hai… wo apni patni se bahut pyar karta hai.. apne parivaar ki izzat karta hai…aur kaam main aaj kal dhyan bhi dene laga hai…
Geet: aur issiliye aapne usey maaf kar dia…
Maan: bada bhai hoke ye mera farz tha…
Geet has tears in her eyes… she doesn't know what to do… or what to say… she says… " maan sir.. main bahut thak gayi hoon.. main let na chahti hoon…. Ab aap jayiye…."
Maan doesn't like the tone in which she says this.. but he guesses… she actually must be tired…
Maan: Tum so jao Geet.. thodi der baad main chala jaunga…
As she turns to sleep.. Maan sits next to her and caresses her hair…. Affectionately.. but Geet has tears in her eyes…. " Maan sir sab jaante hai.. aur unhone Dev ko maaf bhi kar dia… aise kaise kar sakte hai maan sir… aur … jiss tara wo apne bhai aur parivaar ke bare main baat kar rahe hai… mujhe nahi lagta main unhe bata paungi.. ke main wo ladki hoon… jisko unke bhai ne dhoka dia…"
Geet notices that a soft hand, moves the blanket from above her… he looks at her pained and says…
Maan: geet tum ro rahi ho….
Geet turns to maan as though she has no other way… starts crying inconsolably…
Maan: kya hua Geet…
Geet: sir… mujhe apne bacche ke liye bahut darr lag raha hai…
Maan: Geet! Maine doctor se baat karli hai… ghabraane ki koi baat nahi hai… aur fir… iss bacche ki dekhbhaal ke liye main bhi toh hoon.. to fir darr kiss baat ka…
He kisses her on the top of her head …. and hugs her… and tries to put her off to sleep.. leaving Geet in a dilemma… as to how a person can love so much at the same time forgive a sin as grave as what Dev had committed…
Later that night…
There is persistent banging at the door and a person opens it. We see it is Geet's mom. On the other side of the door is Dev.
Geet's mom: Tum! (shocked) … ab kya lene aaye ho yahan?
Dev: aunty ji wo main…
Before he can complete the sentence the mother slaps him…
Precap: why has Dev landed at hoshiarpur? Whats on his mind? Now that Geet thinks Maan knows it all, will it effect the relationship between Maan and Geet?
